  1. The question you won’t answer is why you are a proponent of subjecting children around the age of 12 to procedures that have such horrific outcomes associated with them. Bizarre and disturbing. They’re not monsters. They need psychiatric help and steady adults in their lives. You throw out such a ridiculous strawman because your position is indefensible. Childish.
  2. How many of these articles have been written in the Trump era? Meanwhile 1M+ people gathered across the country last weekend worried about a “king”. See you at the ballot box in 2026. Good lord.
  3. Why do you advocate for subjecting mentally compromised young people to procedures that result in, to quote you, “increased social stigma and isolation after the surgery”? Particularly when it leads to a 12 fold increase in suicidal tendencies? I advocate for getting these young people the mental help they need and then letting them make a life-altering decision as an adult. What age is too young for these procedures in your mind?
  4. Before 18? Have you, in these pages, ever supported an age limit? I do not believe you have. Meanwhile, you have attempted to turn an incredibly brief passage from an NIH paper that talks about stigma and psychiatric care for trans identifying people into it being the central issue. The paper is about an unacceptable increase in suicidal tendencies for people that have undergone these surgeries. You can’t be more disingenuous. Why you are fine with promoting these procedures that have such horrible outcomes is anyone’s guess. Maybe it’s just your twisted ideology that you regularly put on display.
  5. “Hey kid, I know you are struggling but instead of just getting you the psychiatric support you need, you should chop your body up and permanently sterilize yourself first and then get the psychiatric care you need. The data suggests a suicide attempt is 12x more likely if you take that route but I think it’s overblown. Let’s get you under the knife. Another option could be to make the decision when you are an adult but where’s the virtue signaling in that?” -roundy
  6. You’ve always been very, very bad at math. A 5 digit number is just a wee bit off 26M don’t you think? https://www.brookings.edu/articles/americans-continue-to-protest-for-racial-justice-60-years-after-the-march-on-washington/ superspreaders!!
  7. If only people followed the science and did their part by staying six feet apart! It didn’t get any more science-y than 6’. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻🤦🏻‍♀️
  8. Another W for our betters in Washington. We just need to keep trusting them.
  9. I’m aware. The paper I linked to has many other papers referenced. That’s generally how it goes. Obviously the authors felt the need to show another side to the story. Are you impressed with the study of FIFTEEN subjects? As it is remarkably small, I am not. You advocate for an abomination that hurts young people gravely. Someday you will probably ask yourself why. Hopefully.
  10. What you quote comes from a study of FIFTEEN people. Now that’s significant! There’s no gotcha involved. The data, not feelings, reveals outcomes associated with these surgeries on young people are horrific. The paper spells them out. Thankfully people like you that see them as appropriate and even moral, are dwindling by the day. Soon your thinking will be anachronistic.
  11. Do you know what makes “transgender” kids consider offing themselves by a factor of 12-13x? Surgeries that permanently change their bodies. Surgeries that sick bastards like you advocate for. Hopefully a regular suicide hotline is adequate for these young people suffering from mental illness. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11063965/ Individuals who underwent gender-affirming surgery had a 12.12-fold higher suicide attempt risk than those who did not Any issues you have with this published data should be directed to the NIH.
  12. You help your preferred political party appear more reasoned and sane with a take like this. Kudos to you.
  13. Where do you think the Democratic Party went wrong? What do they need to get in order?
  14. Here’s how one “fiercely independent” person that declared Biden mentally fit for the job AFTER the debate sees it:
  15. Really good post. Thank you. You are super smart and well off so maybe you can help Niagara Bill out with this - does the ridiculously named Big Beautiful Bill include provisions for cancellation of elections? I and every other semi-lucid person say no. He says yes. You?
  16. I havent read either of your posts in this thread, seeing that you are very tiresome and boring in both your previous iteration and your current one. That’s why most here have you on mute. That said, GREAT thread!!
  17. Apparently it has been reinstated. Might be worth creating an account.
  18. I just can’t grasp the idea of continually repeating “it’s in the bill” when it’s not in the bill. It’s just flat out weird.
  19. You have stated it’s been widely reported. It hasn’t. That’s a lie. If you disagree, all you have to do is lead me to the snippet of the bill that allows for canceling ofelections. Surely you can do that as you have apparently seen it. No one else has. you cannot lead me to that portion of the bill because it doesn’t exist. Please stop with this delusional take.
  20. This is why no one should take anything you say seriously. I wish November 20 26 would get here quickly so I don’t have to see this sort of stupidity. Then again people of your “thinking” will then say it’s about November 2028.
  21. I think I’ll take the boomer energy over whatever energy it is that you’re spurting forth. Good luck with that whole personality thing.
  22. I’m sure that’s exactly the case and has nothing to do with mental instability.
  23. Is boomer energy bad? Are you an ageist?
