I don’t understand this defensive game plan here. The only way they score is throwing deep. Play off and make them try to go on a long drive. I get the blitz. But you can blitz and still keep everything in front.

Just keep it simple. Run the ball. Throw in heavy formations (it’s working) and above all else, do what you do McDermott play it safe on offense. Let’s get this win. I don’t care what it looks like.

I absolutely hate SNF and MNF games. One o’clock Sunday eastern time is the absolute best time to play football. Gives me time to calm down from the win or loss and actually sleep. Win or lose I’ll be up all night tonight

I hope the takeaway from this game was to hit the short easy quick passes and take the 4 yards and move on. Coach to the QBs strength which isn’t hitting the long ball.

Yes Next time can we please just get the ball out quick and let our guys get RAC. Those plays are higher percentage and still have the same effect as hitting deep shots as it relates to getting them out of the “0” blitz.

We get blitzed like that again go max pro instead of spreading teams out. Max pro limits the reads and traffic a qb will have to look through. Spreading the ravens out might’ve worked if we would’ve turned it into a basketball game and ran pick routes. Watching the coaches film I only really saw the td pass to Beasley as anything close.

He’s had three carries for 7 yards runs a 4.9 40 and executes a vast majority of his blocks with 3 yards of the line Saying Lee Smith physically can’t do that ....in the sense that he’s a walking penalty I will agree physically can’t execute the blocks dimarco does I will disagree

Maybe this has been mentioned in this thread. I’ve read most of it and could’ve missed it Has anyone figured out why we didn’t max protect today? Did the press ask? Did it happen and I’m ignorant to it? Was the plan to spread them out and if so where were the quick hitters to beat the man coverage? Josh took a beating. Some maybe all was his fault. See the ops detail Foster non call was a big play 12 men in the huddle on third and goal from the 3. Would’ve been third and goal from the 8 in an obvious passing situation Two very clear examples. If Beasley isn’t the first read against a cover 0 that’s a problem. Beasley is averaging 3.2 ish yards of separation Brown is 2.4 Brown is running the deeper routes with a lower probability of catch. Beasley is usually within 10 yards of the LOS If we aren’t drawing up plays to get Beasley the ball on blitz beaters or he isn’t the primary read shame on the coaching staff.

If the game is on the line he’s going to John Brown week 1 against the jets same against Cleveland same today He’s reading the defense presnap seeing man and staring down John Brown post snap. That’s a problem

I like McKenzie when we design plays to get him the ball. He has different speed. But Foster can do the same. No need to have them both active.
