Disagree on the offensive line. Too many times we didn’t get any push DJ reader wrecked our run game Lawrence guy was a beast when we played the patriots I just think we have to get better up from either through player development or new players. Our oline while better than 2018 was still very much average to below in 2019. Rest of the post is spot on in my opinion.

I’m not arguing that point at all. I absolutely agree with what you’re saying the personnel groupings Daboll used are awful. But the formation and and grouping lead me to believe that we were going heavy play action that Allen called off with the “kill”. Nothing about what we do leads me to believe we are doing dummy audibles and I firmly believe that was an audible. So on that particular play I put it on Allen.

I’m going to keep saying this in every thread it’s posted. The Frank Gore run was on Josh Allen. With 30 seconds left In the half he “killed” the play and went to the secondary play. He will learn that regardless of the look, that has to be a pass and let’s get to the next play

It’s perplexing why we just can’t/couldn’t lineup duke and brown as outside wrs and put Beasley in the slot. Far too often we use personnel groupings to help Josh figure out the coverage when using motion with your best players on the field works just as well. Put your best players on the field and use motion, then you don’t have Patrick DiMarco trying time catch jump balls. Daboll gets too cute for my liking in game.

A 3-yard pass from quarterback Josh Allen to wideout Duke Williams on third-and-2 had set up the Bills with a first down, and they followed that by spending their second timeout. And then, having all that time to consider their options, they handed off to Frank Gore on first down. That run by Gore is on Josh. He’s gotta know he can’t “kill” the original call which I assume was a pass. It had to be an audible Lee Smith walked from his tight end spot all the way down to the qb to get the changed call

That was on Allen. If you watch it again you see him killing the original play to get to the gore run. Bad situational awareness

Experience is the only thing that will help that. Both players and coaches Fully agree with that statement though. We just don’t have guys hat have been there. Even our veteran leadership guys haven’t won crap. Nothing against them at all just stating a fact.

I thought he was fine. Everyone has wanted the guy who can make a back should catch or a “mossed “ type of go up and get it play. Duke almost made those plays. He did make one but a penalty got him. Alas wasn’t meant to be. Almost doesn’t count. Still looking for the guy who can be that threat.

So if he was trying to do too much why not realize it at the time and let Singletary take a few cracks at it with a run or two. Situational awareness was lacking on all fronts today.

I’m disappointed in our offensive line the most. Qb runs worked ok. But Singletary was getting his on his own over and over against a very bad run defense Miscommunication got Allen lit up a few times. Need to continue building the line

If he improves in his third year as much as he did his second year there is no question. As it stands now another playmaker or two and he can be good without improvement. Imagine if he improves and gets a weapon or two

That third down play after the gore run (gore being in the game drives me nuts) two linemen are looking right, rusher comes right past them, Singletary tries to pick up the delayed blitzer and misses. What the f were Spain and the other guy looking at. Just seems communication on the offensive line has been an issue all year. On Dabolls favorite call the josh Allen roll right sweep that should’ve been a 20 yard gain. Cunningham is starting at 3 lead blockers and only Knox tries to take the guy on. They should’ve buried Cunningham and we are in field goal range. Tons of blame to go around in this game but our offensive line has been better than the 2018 version but not good enough in my opinion. This game is a microcosm of what I’ve seen in multiple games this year. They miss assignments and have untimely penalties on big plays.

That’s what happens when you kick field goals and take your foot off the gas Second down runs were way too predictable.

Guess it’s a good thing these are going to be road games
