That’s my biggest issue with the last two weeks, we have to keep the qb on the pocket at all cost. Every time Mahomes and Tannehill broke contain it led to a big play. That’s the first thing I tighten up. Keep the qb in the pocket and that will help third down defense.

What exactly does that mean. We play two linebackers 80 percent of the snaps. Doesn’t middle only pertain when we have a base defense out there?

No problem with Diggs other than this. He takes forever to get set.

I think the defensive plan worked. I didn’t like but we had several chances to get off the field on third and long and didn’t b The biggest problem I see is third down defense and our inability to keep the qb in the pocket. No interior push.

We were one 3rd and 14 away from having the ball back with 4 minutes left and needing a td to take the lead which I firmly believe we would’ve done. Almost worked.

I don’t agree with vanilla overall. We have blitzed at a high clip this season. We did play very vanilla today. I think the strategy was ok we just didn’t make plays to get off the field on third down and haven’t all year. I really would’ve like to see more aggression today. Especially with the weather. I wanted to see Mahomes make a throw to someone other than Kelce. We will see them or the titans again.

He could’ve played better for sure. But credit KC they did a good job. Their strategy was to grab, hold, and be physical. We got a bunch of penalties against them but we couldn’t get a rhythm offensively.

I think the issue is we have a front four that specializes in getting after the qb and they aren’t doing that well. when we showed a backbone vs the run game did anyone notice it was the entire second string along the front

of course they were better prepared. There was never a doubt who they were playing next. It was always the Bills Buffalo had to wonder if it was the titans or chiefs next. however it was a solid game plan by the titans. Give them credit. They took advantage of our mistakes and made Buffalo play small ball.

We always have that one game early in the season where we look like we don’t belong in the field. mcdermott has always righted the ship. It does feel weird that we are this worried about defense. Hopefully we can get everyone healthy on that side of the ball and get to work. Seems like every game this year someone key is missing. Not worried yet. Even if we lose to the Chiefs we’ve got the Jets and Patriots coming after that. Those two are the games we really need IMO.
