I agree. I’m not sure what everyone’s definition of “ok” is but we have a playoff team. One loss or a bad game doesn’t much matter. Everyone has them. I need to see more from the offense but there’s no need to panic now. Defensively we are really good and deep. We are a playoff team with a great defense. Offensively we’ve got to be better no surprise but jets always give us problems.

They gotta have something new to talk about each year to keep people talking and interested I pay no attention to that madness.

I understand the defensive DVOA and missing starters argument But so was Bengals offense injuries are part of the game Accountability doesn’t make excuses and there needs to be accountability for the playoff failures as well as our slow starts in the first quarter It’s almost like we take no time during the week to game plan.

Just get an aggressive d coordinator Draft offensive line( one guard would make a huge difference) Tell Allen to get the ball out of his hands on occasion. Sometimes he’s his own worst enemy We are always going to be right there with Allen

I can agree to an extent. Offensively we need to be better However 2021 KC dominated us. They moved the ball up and down the field 2022 Couldn’t get a stop against KC 2023 Bengals went up and down the field The defense can’t be great in the regular season and shrink in the playoffs. Someone has to be accountable for those failures.

So we play that way against tua and the dolphins who have two guys with world class speed but against the bengals we play prevent defense and don’t adjust. If our coach hangs hit hat on defense and we continually shrink in big moments then what is the purpose of having a defensive minded head coach Just go get me an offensive guy that will be here forever and let’s put up 40 a game

Maybe stack so they can’t jam just little to no adjustments in game for our coaching staff

And I understand getting beat in the trenches. There isn’t much you can do there other than increase your protection But defensively if you’re gonna blitz to offset getting beat in the trenches then you need to press up a little so teams can’t just play pitch and catch

I agree but based off what Did we even try to bracket chase and put Elam on Higgins and take our chances We just played soft all game and didn’t adjust anything we were doing.

This happens regularly in the playoffs and I’m ok with refs letting teams play. What I’m not ok with is our inability to adjust to how the game is being called. At this point we’ve been to the playoffs enough to know the refs are going to let the game play out and limit the flags But our defensive backs continue to be 10 yards off the line of scrimmage. That axe has to fall on someone. We clearly aren’t learning from situations we’ve been in before. Analytically we are among the best every year but situational football is lacking time and time again. Conversely Look at the contrast.

We had success running the ball this year we just refuse to do it on a consistent basis Motor and Cook were pretty good Im puzzled at the lack of play action passing off the running game. An RPO was all we did off an effective run game.

It was all game Of course we didn’t generate pressure, the secondary was always too deep. we blitz and all joe had to do was throw a quick five yard pass.

Seems like it’s clearly directed at Dorsey Who can blame him He wasn’t used for much of the back end of the season as much as he should’ve been. Basically running deep routes and hoping to hit those. I like Diggs in that intermediate high percentage area with the occasional deep shot.

Preparation in the big moments continues to be lacking. Creativity on both sides is nonexistent Not saying we need to fire everyone. But we need to get better from a coaching standpoint and stop blaming execution

Have to let our corners get in their face if you have no pass rush why blitz if your corners are 10 yards off. It’s easy pitch and catch We didn’t challenge anyone defensively and played scared. Offensively I load up in the draft (and hope our coaches play our rookies before the playoffs). Oline continues to get whipped. Saffold was bad

Just reload Draft offense early I’d prefer oline but I get wr And please keep Diggs. Just throw him the dang ball consistently. He’s a monster. I’d prefer a new defensive coordinator. Frazier is ok but we can’t keep getting gashed but upper tier teams when we invest so heavily in athletes on the defensive side Let those guys be animals. We use a first round pick on a corner who flashed all season and we don’t say “Hey go get in Chase’s grill” Thats on coaching.

I don’t blame Diggs He needs the ball and not just in deep shots. But if you looks at diggs practice routine he doesn’t practice often Not sure if that’s been a trend his entire time here but their chemistry was off a little Never consistently involved in the game
