Really hope Josh Allen doesn’t come out with too much adrenaline like he does in perceived big games and start missing easy throws. I’m telling you I’d run Allen first two plays of the game to try to get him calmed down.

I’ve been asking this question for weeks. Where has he been? Why hasn’t he been given a shot? It’s frustrating to know on a passing down that Taron is going to be targeted. Teams are going at him time and time again with a lot of success and we aren’t doing anything that I’ve noticed from a personnel or schematic standpoint to help him.

I’m encouraged but let’s see what happens when he’s blocking teams that aren’t playing a dime

What I’ve been impressed with is how he continues to process how teams are playing him. Lots of man coverage 1 and zero looks in first two years. Tried that this year and he shredded it. He continues to do so every time a teams tries to blitz him. He’s adjusting to a lot of zone looks kind of on the fly and I think he’s doing pretty well. I think the patriots game was one of the most impressive games I’ve seen him play. He understood what the defense was trying to do to him, put his ego aside (which I’m not sure he has), and continually go the offense into good plays. Most of those were run plays. I can’t wait for the Seattle game. He’s locking into Diggs more than I’d like to see IMO. But everything he’s doing is trending up in year 3

Do not disagree. Saw exactly what you saw. But it’s still better than having this guy in space. If he’s occupying a blocker maybe someone else will win a 1 on 1

I agree with all of this. The plans lack any creativity that we've seen in the past. We seem unable to adjust once an offense figures out what we are trying to do to them. We should've blitzed new england into submission and made cam throw the ball. Id send Klein on almost every play, what else is he going to do. We rarely help Taron Johnson even though he continues to get burnt like toast. I believe the defense will improve but schematically the coaches are doing much to help.

If we could only get one guy off the field it should be Taron Johnson. I’m not sure how to look it up but I’d love to know what the passer rating is when he’s targeted. Can we please try Neal

I played a little qb all the way till senior year in high school. It’s not bad if the center snaps or the same way. Some centers at least at lower levels turn the ball as the snap it with the ends of the ball facing the sidelines. Haven’t seen that in the pros Most centers just snap straight back with the ends of the ball facing each end zone Under center I never had to adjust really. Shotgun is a different animal entirely tho. Different guys send the ball at different speeds and some aren’t very consistent with where it goes.

Get right game for the offense. Specifically our passing offense.
