Or at least excited about what’s going on. You’d think this team and coaching staff was a bunch of bums even though we are about to go to the playoffs 3 out of 4 under the new regime.

I only have a problem with what we can control. Presnap penalties especially lining up wrong or not getting set rear their ugly head every game. Our wrs would be in the bench if the didn’t show some kind of hustle in getting get. Diggs drives me to the point of insanity with his presnap loafing. And the dang coaches continue to allow it. Lining up should be the easiest part of football. There I found a thread to get that off my chest. Now I feel better

If he’s not starting next game I’ll worry. Mcdermott pisses me off with all this oline shuffling but it’s been necessary this year due to injuries.

I still want more

He just needs to be smarter. I’m still in his corner. The ability is there. He can take a one yard pass and get a first down. Not a lot of tight ends can do that. I don’t want to give up on his ability with the ball in his hands.

If he could get a running game it would only help. He’s made this huge leap in year 3 with a patchwork oline and no consistency from his rbs or oline. We are winning games with him throwing 40 plus times a game. That was not supposed to be the formula with Josh Allen. Ive never seen a qb improve as much as he has. And the ceiling keeps getting pushed higher

We’ve only lost to teams with really good records. So I’m ok As of now 4 of our last 6 opponents have a losing record. I like our chances Teams that don’t- Steelers and Dolphins

All that easy stuff across the middle with Taron Johnson getting toasted every third down has stopped. Pass defense looks to be where it was last year. Love the aggressive pressure and zone blitzes we are bringing. When we crowd the A gap we are a better defense. Arrow up for our defense to close the year

I know it doesn’t feel like it but we are getting there defensively. Before that last pass we held the cards under 30 with a banged up covid affected secondary. We are going to get healthy. And our schedule has been unreal. How many top 10 offenses have we faced. Honest question. I’m not looking it up. We’re going to be just fine defensively

7-3. Tough schedule. I’d love to see this oline get healthy and stay healthy. That will be a difference maker. Defense is coming around. I like where we are going.

Hops hands were higher but tres hands were inside. So hop has to make the catch through tres hands and body if Poyer doesn’t clear him out

Just watched it back. I know we have a catch thread already but when I posted it merged with my previous reply. Did anyone else noticed Poyer come through like a freight train and knock Tre out of the way. He’s going for the ball but my gosh if he doesn’t get in the play or hits Hopkins like that Bills win. Not making Poyer out to be the problem. Just something I didn’t notice the first 5 times I saw the catch.

I think I’ve said this about 18 times today and I’ve said if for years. If you blitz the ball cant get to the end zone I just watched that back. Tre was actually in really good position. Poyer comes in like a freight train and hits Tre instead of Hopkins. Knocks Tre completely out of the play.

Right. I don’t see much of a drop off. Gave up a huge play to Hopkins but he wasn’t the only one at fault. He’s been solid

A blitz makes all of this irrelevant. Send 6 he gets the ball out quick we make a tackle or they have the ball at the 30 with 5 seconds left. Teams need to blitz more at the end of the game when teams have no timeouts left. Archaic way of thinking to sit back. If the ball doesn’t have time to get to the end zone you can’t lose. More people going for the ball. I’d rather see dbs try to separate arms. But I’m being picky

I’ve set my mind to the playoffs. Probably shouldn’t but I can’t help it. That being said I just want to get healthy at the right time and make a run. We’ve had enough injuries for two years.

I’m not worried about the Steelers at all. I think stationary QBs are in trouble against our defense.
