  1. Dawkins is as good as Cordy Glenn was when they let him go, so I honestly expect roughly the same treatment. Maybe sign Dawkins and draft a LT and see what happens, worst case you signed a good LT long term and have a backup LT, best case you have signed a good LT you can trade and have his replacement ready at hand.
  2. No. Johnson is not going anywhere. I personally think he is good enough to start on a few teams and will be taking Hughes spot in 2021. Taylor is the first to go.
  3. If a team was willing to give a 5th for Zay Jones I'll go out on a limb and say we could get a 6th for McKenzie.
  4. Funny thing is Roberts and Mckendrick would probably garner a 5th-7th round pick if traded this offseason which would then place their value at roughly the same as their replacements.
  5. Exactly. I'm a fan and have been since I was 6 but I've seen my share of moody fans and know how it is---- 'Trent Edward's is sooo good and needs to start' turns into 'Captain checkdown needs to go' If people would just give it a season before jumping on or off the wagon they might save themselves a few bucks on a shrink.
  6. I'm saying 90% of 4th and 6th rounders are Andre Robert's and Mckendrick caliber players and it is unrealistic to expect them to be the 10%. I understand being a fan and what that means but geesh can we please step outside of the bubble on this one.
  7. I understand the upside point of view but we are talking about a 4th and 6th round picks. You need to cool your jets. These players will have 0-minimal impact this year and next yet you are treating this as if these two are the clonings of Anquan Boldin (Cardinal)
  8. -2022 Honestly, did anyone else here feel confident going into the season with Davis and Hodgins being our reserve group? You will be saying this in a few years. Simmer down a bit these were 4th and 6th round picks. FYI Roberts was a 3rd round pick and Mckendrick a 5th round pick so...
  9. I was about to respond that Bojo was fine last year but then I looked up punters and saw that he was ranked 33rd in punting average last year. Whelp.
  10. I find it interesting that a team can't email a playbook to a player because of 'security issues' yet top 100 companies will email highly sensitive info daily.
  11. Answer- I don't know. What I do know is every hardcore fan knows the depth the OP is talking about for HIS team and then knows diddly about other teams depth. So in reality we can't say.
  12. Who is the Chiefs 4th WR or the Packers, Falcons, Patriots? That's right you can't say because they are rarely used. Why is it so pertinent to have a 'very good 4th WR in today's NFL' ? The top team to use 4WR set last year was the Cardinals. Guess what that percentage was.... 18% of the time. After the Cardinals it dropped drastically to 8% used. A long snapper quite often sees more time than the 4th WR.
  13. You would think players around the league would look at the whole Antonio Brown situation and take notice on what NOT to do. Granted this is far less than Antonio Browns antics but this is how it all started. Not to mention, what does Yannick hope to gain? He alienates at least half of the GMs around the league(who do the trading) by criticizing his GM.
  14. Matt Patricia has no problem with trading Stafford to the Patriots cause he knows he will be back with them again in 2021. Matt Ryan is going nowhere. With a competent coach and D he would have won a Super Bowl buy now.
  15. Matt Stafford traded to the Patriots for a 2nd and 4th round pick.
  16. But you gave up a 1st rounder which could have netted you a WR in the 'best WR class of our generaton' Again I'm shocked no one sees the contradiction of surrendering a 1st this year to make a 'bold move to get a stud WR' and then drafting a bench WR in the 2nd for the future.
  17. I'm really curious who makes the cut IF Beane was to actually do what a few posters are calling for-draft a WR in rounds 2 AND 3. Diggs Brown Beasley (Round 2 pick) (Round 3 pick) ?Roberts? ?Foster?
  18. A rookie WR will have little impact this year and possibly next year. For all the posters saying prior to Free Agency 'now is the time to go big' 'Beane had better go make a trade for a stud WR, now is the time to make bold moves' ...a WR in rounds 2-3 is the exact opposite of this. It is neither bold nor a 'now' move which begs the question, why give up a 1st and change for Diggs?(For the record I like the Diggs trade) 2 and 3rd rounders should see a good amount of playing time, not 15% of the time.
  19. Jarvis Landry saw playing time in Miami his rookie year. If we take a WR this year he will likely see MAYBE 15% playing time. I'm all for taking a WR in the draft, just not rounds 2-3.
  20. Yes, as the 4th Wideout they would make little difference this year and possibly next.
  21. Mckendrick is the best, all of those end arounds. Also he can play special teams.
  22. How often is a fourth WR personel used? More than what other personnel groupings? Answer: Yes. More than the 5 WR personel. ? After further digging, Arizona was the highest user of the 4 WRs personnel last year at....(drumroll)... a whopping 18% of the time followed by Seattle at 10%. ?
  23. Still with DK? No I'm saying that everyone is expecting a AJ Brown or DK when in reality your chances of getting a Zay Jones is much higher. To boot you want to take this chance on a guy that wont see much field time for 2 years. Again so I ask, when will one of those 2 get cut and who? If it's in 2 years then that's a long wait for a 2nd rounder to start.
