  1. On a day when Tom Brady rushes for 17 yards and a TD on a gimpy ankle, you would think these coaches would have maybe used JPs ability even once. They said the Pats were practicing for that, and were worried about JPs ability to scramble. This coaching staff sucks.
  2. He had someone in his face the whole game. They showed the replay from one down and the Pats only rushed three, and dropped eveyone else into coverage. Yup. The Pats rushed three and still got to the QB. What the hell do you expect the kid to do with that? At one point, Cross said JP was on his own out there on the field. Cross is a complete idiot, and even he could see Losman didn't have a chance.
  3. If I recall correctly, he had a rushing end right in his face and got leveled as he was throwing it. The ball just floated up there. He might not have seen Aiken loafing around at the 12 yard line. Belichek likes to screen his CBs, so Samuel (?) faded off Aiken knowing it was 3rd and goal from the 22, covering the TD but willing to give them the FG try if Aiken gets the pass. Evans had actually beaten his man. If Samuel didn't drop back and JP had more than 0.5 seconds to let Evans finish his route, it would have been a great TD. The game was scoreless at the time, so trying to force one in there from 22 yards out was probably a bit too agressive. But, like you said, this team was 4-8. Why not get the TD? Plus, if it's an incomplete pass, they could trot Lindell out there to miss it from the 22. Six of one, half dozen of another. The defense should have nutted up there, but let the Pats march down the field on an 80 yard drive finished with a TD rush by Brady on a bum ankle. Those pointing to JP for this loss (not you Rubes) are being ridiculous. No running game. No O-line. Horrible playcalling. The kid is getting hosed. But he improves every game.
  4. They're running up the score! I outraged...outraged I tells ya!
  5. I love that NEXTEL commercial. "Ooh, Baby-baby" Cracks me up every time.
  6. Nice to see Parrish really fight for that ball.
  7. INT. At least one dude showed up to play today.
  8. Wonder what the halftime adjustments will be.
  9. It's a lot easier to plan for the future when you don't have any hope.
  10. If we acted up in public my dad would escort us out to the car and make us sit in the rumble seat until he finished what he needed to do. It wasn't until many years later that we found out the rumble seat was really a "trunk". I hate you, dad.
  11. You mean the aging WR on a 4-8 team, who won't be on the team next year anyway?
  12. Tomorrow will be like today, and the day after tomorrow will be like the day before yesterday. And then you die.
  13. There's been a fair amount of drama and conspiracy theories surrounding the WR of a certain 4-8 (soon to be 4-12 or 5-11) team. Most people, other than the fans of the team and a certain 45-year-old virgin talking head at ESPN, don't know why it's such a big deal because it's about a WR on a 4-8 team. Did I mention that the team is 4-8, and the WR won't be on the team next year, anyway?
  14. No suspensions, yet? It's been five days.
  15. There's also a customer service forum. For posts like this. Which no one reads. Because of posts like this.
  16. Black smoke: suspension upheld White smoke: reprieve Brown smoke: Ralph had strained carrots and cling peaches for lunch
  17. You speak the truth. Two years from now all the Brady jerseys will be replaced by Eli Manning jerseys. I'm sure Pats fans are very conflicted right now. Should they continue to root for the Pats, who are clearly in decline? Or should they go back to rooting for the Giants, the team they supported until the mid-90s? It must be hard jumping from one bandwagon to the next.
