  1. Maybe she's just not buying into the bogus hype that the Pats are a dominating team to be feared this year. They went 3-6 against teams with winning records in the regular season. The league let them play at 8:00 at night in January, once again, against a warm weather team. Leftwich was hurt and Peterson was playing with a freaking cast on (no cast and he wraps up Watson on that long TD). Sorry guy...no one's buying into the Patriot mystique...except for the media whores who always line up for the Pats, and a few trolls.
  2. Ahhh..the not-so-elusive Pats troll has graced us with his presence. What a shame that he has to haunt the messageboard of a 5-11 team on the very day his team is playing in the playoffs. Shouldn't he be trolling on the Jags board? Or perhaps whining on the Colts board about how his slighly better than mediocre system QB came in third in the MVP voting ...behind Manning. Or shouldn't he be haunting the Bears board because their coach got the best coach award over the genius Belicheck? Nope...he's trolling on the Bills board. Kind of sad, isn't it? But it's what we've come to expect from the Pats trolls.
  3. If the Pats are behind by 7 points or less with 5 minutes to go brace yourself for a blizzard of yellow flags and questionable calls. It's so predictable you should be able to lay money on it in Vegas. Pass Interference 6-5 A catch that's not a catch 3-1 Roughing the passer 5-1 There's almost too many to choose from. God help the Jags if they get the ball back down by a few points: Blocking penalties on the kickoff Offensive holding Offensive pass interference The tyranny must end.
  4. Go Jags! Only four teams stand between us and the tyranny of another Pats trophy. Only four teams can end their run of luck, favorable scheduling by the league, baseless accolades for a mediocre system QB, phantom holding/PI calls, embellished stats, endless rain of crucial yellow hankies appearing when it looks like they are about to go down, and obnoxious trolls. It has to end this year!
  5. The sun will come out, Samara...bet your bottom dollar that Samara, it will come...
  6. I'm going to preface this by stating that I am a complete idiot about the OL nuances of the game. That being said, how much does consistancy at the QB position factor in for gelling of the OL over a season? Would they have improved had JPL been back there the entire 16 games? These guys had two completely different QBs to block for this season, and never had consistancy for more than a few games at a time. IMO, which most probably consider worthless anyway, had JPL started at QB every single game we would have seen the offense slowly improve every single game.
  7. How do we know you even have $100? Here's the pre-roster-cut 2006 FA QB list. I don't see a single name on that list that I'd rather see than JP Losman. As for roster cuts, who knows, but I don't think I'd want Aaron Brooks or Daunte Culpepper over JPL, either. I say let the kid play the whole season and let KTFABD keep his imaginary $100.
  8. Looking at who the Bills have on the schedule next year: Home: Miami, New England, N.Y. Jets, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Green Bay, Minnesota, San Diego Away: Miami, New England, N.Y. Jets, Houston, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore That's not that soft of a schedule. If Mularkey opens the season 0-2 or 1-3 again, it will be ugly, man. Very ugly. There is no way to predict how they will do, but his recent coaching decisions have been brutal, and he gives me no reason to think it's going to be any different. They better get some good coordinators for him, but if what we have heard is true (someone correct me if I heard this wrong in the numerous press conferences), and he gets to pick them, then next year will be more of the same. I don't think my TV can take another beating like this past year.
  9. Which page? The one in Marv's hand...or the one in Modrak's hand...or the one in Mularkey's hand.... I like that they got rid of TD. I am giddy over that, for damn sure. But how can anyone say this is going to be successfull until they hire the coaches, and see how the new group-hug-feel-good Bills trust will operate in the draft, let alone do in the FA market. Marv's an awesome guy and all, but I'll reserve popping the champagne until I see what else is in store. I think keeping Mularkey around is short-sighted and very foolish. Letting him pick the coaches (if that is true) himself is borderline criminal, IMO. But that's just my opinion. I am not down on the new developments, but I'm not outside doing snow angles either.
  10. Why all the feel-good mojo for Haslett? The guy's team tanked on him, he accused Hull of using steroids, and he crossed the picket line to play for the Jets, he's good friends with Benedict Smerlas. Why the love for this scumbag?
  11. While I think Marv is one of the greatest guys on the planet and I have the utmost respect for the man, I will reserve judgement on Marv the GM until after they get the OC and DC, and get through the draft. I hope for the best, of course. Time will tell.
  12. Why would anybody quit with that kind of scratch still on the table? It's better to get sh---canned and collect the severence. He was considered a good coordinator at one time, it's not like he'll be out of a job for a long time. Just look at Gilbride.
  13. I'd pay to see that, too. Any chance they could get Hull to snap Smerlas in half, a two for the price of one deal? They're both scum.
  14. The Pats are 3-6 against teams with winning records this year, and will have to beat 4 in a row to win the Superbowl, probably playing Denver and Indy on the road. I've got my fingers crossed but is there any doubt that if they are trailing with 5 minutes to go you will see a blizzard of yellow flags going in their favor?
  15. If by "solidified" they mean getting run over by a RB, then yeah, he's done a good job. It's too bad the Pats don't get any respect from the press and the league.
  16. We rip basketball players for going for triple doubles in garbage time. We rip baseball players for stealing bases in blowouts just to get records. Yet this tool gets a pass from everyone because it's Belicheck and the Pats. There was nothing "cool" about drop-kicking an extra point because you want to lose the game to face the Jags. If any other coach does this they get accused of making a mockery of the game. In a week where a kicker goes 4-4 on FGs, and a guy runs back a 95 yard KO for a TD, Flutie gets a Special Teams award. It's a load of crap.
  17. Does the NFL allow cats in the War Room? Senior citizens like having a lot of cats around...and piles of old newspapers.
  18. It's hard to follow without the freak-outs, rants and manifestos.
