  1. I know the premise of this thread started out as a joke, however it can't be ignored that Brady played a very pedestrian game. But that should have come as no surprise because the Pats went 4-7 against teams with winning records this year. The final score of that game doesn't tell the whole story. The only TD that Brady threw for Saturday came when there was 8:00 left and they were down 24 to 6. Realistically, those points came in garbage time. When it really had to get done...when they actually had a chance to put some meaningfull points on the board...he threw a pick in the end zone. But he was 20 for 36 with 341 yards you say. It's a meaningless stat. When faced with playing a team with a winning record on the road in the playoffs Mr. Spectacular couldn't get it done. Yes, his RBs fumbled the ball. Yes, Troy Brown fumbled the ball. But his INT in the endzone and the 99 yard return off that INT in the endzone was the single biggest play of the game.
  2. Good morning. There's a hop in my step and a smile on my face. The sun is out...birds are singing. All the people I work with are in a foul mood. What a great day.
  3. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been getting hammered celebrating the exodus of the last regime, especially Mularkey. We should return all the empties we drank while running Mularkey out of town, and give all that extra money to Ralph to help pay for the new coach. Everybody wins.
  4. What she said has nothing to do with the show. She really means, "Marry me or get the hell out."
  5. It all depends on who they hire as a head coach. It's one thing to tell people at a press conference that money is no object, it's quite another to pay a top candidate good money. Stay tuned.
  6. Sounds like a cult. When's Hale-Bopp coming back around? Applewhite owes me a six-pack of beer.
  7. It won't be a factor because the new coach is working for beer and wings.
  8. So dumb, it borders on genius.
  9. Shake-Zula, the mic rulah, the old schoolah you wanna trip..I'll break it to ya
  10. You just know Losman has broken out the champagne. Time to fit Holcomb with a new bench.
  11. I'm over-joyed! Keeping him made zero sense to begin with, and if he's got to make up a bogus story to save face then screw him. Maybe the fans ought to put the fear of god in the HC? Then we'll get a guy with a sack that's not going to cave into a couple of whiney vets...crack a few heads open...break some limbs. Then maybe they'll play harder if they worry for their very lives about losing. Then they'll tune him out after a couple years and we'll run his a$$ out of town too! That's power, man! I need a drink!
  12. You're looking for specific posts despite the fact that you've been repeatedly told that it is Hollywood Pats Troll's body of work that exposes him for what he is. He rarely adds anything to any other subject that does not involve the Pats, and "magically" appears everytime someone has anything to say about them. He showed up right around the same time several other Pats trolls arrived...McGahee's ACL, Thurman's Helmet, and a whole host of other idiots with inflammatory names who only came here to cause trouble and spew their Patriots crap, many of whom are now banned. Why is he here when his team is playing Denver this weekend in the playoffs? Why was he here right after the Jags game? Why is he here literally all the time lurking, waiting to pounce on every thread or post specific to the Patriots? The Bills haven't played his team in over a month...yet here he is...despite the abundance of Pats boards out there just full of delusional Pats fans throwing dynasty and HOF QB and genius around. That's a freaking troll Mr Arm.
  13. Here's a link to some of the historical comparisons to the movie. Linky
  14. It was a lot better than I'd thought it would be. It's not a bad rental, but I wouldn't ever watch it again.
  15. AKC is not alone. The problem with Hollywood Donahoe (or "Shockey Boy", as he will be re-named when he goes back to rooting for the Giants) is that he lurks until some poster has the "gall" to make a comment on his beloved team-of-the-moment. As AKC has so eloquently described, there are several posters on this board who root for other teams, yet they don't pop up in every thread that has "Brady", "Pats" or "Belicheck sucks" in it.
  16. Not everyone in Mass is a liberal, as I'm sure not everyone in Texas is a right-wing loon.
  17. I live in Boston. Racism is alive and well in this city. From affluent suburban schools pulling out of leagues so they don't have to play inner city schools, to parents sueing school districts to keep from busing inner city kids into their schools. South Boston and parts of Dorchester are extremely unwelcome for black kids to be in at night. Boston still has a racist reputation that comes up alot when FA atheletes are being courted for teams here. People can choose to ignore it. People can choose to pretend its going away. And people can pretend it's all their own fault. But it's there.
  18. We're talking about Jim Kelly, right, and not Kelly Holcomb? I believe most real Pats fans...I mean the one's that weren't Giants fans 10 years ago...still hold Steve Grogan in higher regard than Brady.
  19. I expect that as soon as the Pats finally complete their spiral into the toilet you'll resurface as a Giants fan. May I suggest a new handle for you? Perhaps "Shockey Boy" or "The Strahan(d) of God"?
  20. I doubt the troll will be around much after Denver beats the Pats this weekend.
  21. Outstanding find. I often crop dust the old cube farm after a night of heavy drinking.
  22. The article doesn't mention that most Pats fans today were all Giants fans up until 1993.
  23. And that is precisely why they should not have kept Mularkey. He has probably 4 games to keep his job next year. What makes anyone think he's going to let JP "develop" over those 4 games if his job is in jeopardy? He didn't at the end of this season.
