You've got zero credibility when you make statements like these. Zero. In three games this year against NE (game 1), SD and Indy, three teams who have a combined record of 29-7, and three teams who will each go on to win their respective divisions, the Bills lost by a COMBINED total of 6 points. Six points. They're a young team that is playing with heart more often than not, and they are going toe-to-toe with good teams. They will start winning those games, and when they do I suspect posters like you will B word and moan about something else. I'm enjoying watching this team progress every week. I'm not sure who you're watching.

You're not watching the same team I am, then. Since the bye week they're 3 out of five, and the two losses were against two elite AFC teams, who they lost to by a COMBINED total of 4 points. So 4 points seperates this "team of losers" as you call them from having gone 5 for 5 since the bye. This is a young team that has improved by leaps and bounds since the first 7 games of the season. I think they're freaking exciting to watch, and yes, a bit maddening at times. But calling them losers is completely wrong.

I really thought they had that onsides kick. You just knew they would have pulled another one out if they recovered.

I picked up Jay Reatard's new LP, Blood Visions a couple weeks ago and it's been in heavy rotation at casa de Coli ever since. Some have heard me extol the genius of Jay Reatard multiple times on this board. Most have ignored me. The Reatards put out some of the most intense, trashy punk rock you'd ever want to inflict on yourself and/or your neighbors. Make no mistake, though, Blood Visions is nothing like the Reatards. This is a record the Killers wished they had the stones to make. This is hook-laden, trashy new wave...hints of Buzzcocks, Devo, an Adverts cover...it's loaded. Here's Oliver from Strange Reaction reviewing it far better than I ever could. There's a few clips as well, but the two stand-out tracks, My Shadow and Turning Blue, can probably be sampled on iTunes. Speaking of Jay, if you want to hear another of his non-Reatards bands, I would highly recommend the progenitors of "black-wave", the Lost Sounds, in particular the Rat Brains and Microchips LP. It's a nice precursor to Blood Visions, for those who can't stomach the Reatards.

Good luck to all. It's a tough time of the year to be switching jobs. As for scheduling you for an interview during the phone interview, it's just not the norm anymore. Not sure how big of a company you're looking at, but there are probably a bunch of HR people coordinating the process. Don't sweat it. It'll happen when it does. If it doesn't, screw them. They lost out on you.

I hate the Ravens, but I hate the Paytoilets more, so I'd like Baltimore to roll over the last few weeks of the season and get the first-round bye so the last game of the season is meaningless for them. When The Most Dangerous Team in the NFL beats SD this weekend, they might need that game against the Ravens to get the wildcard.
