Pressure Building for punishment in new Pats* scandal
Johnny Coli replied to AKC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
P*ts' offensive lineman arrested for oxycontin possession, turns rat and wears wire for DEA. The Shift-8's are all on performance-enhancing drugs Mediocre offensive lineman pays $4000 every couple days since November for 100 pills. One wonders where the mediocre offensive lineman bag-man got an extra four grand every couple days to buy 100 prescription painkillers at a Foxborough gas station. One also wonders to whom the mediocre offensive lineman bag-man gave those 100 prescription painkiller pills every couple days during the NFL season. -
Pressure Building for punishment in new Pats* scandal
Johnny Coli replied to AKC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No freaking way the NFLPA will go after the P*ts because they don't want to expose the players that are in the P*ts' HGH program. It's the same dilemma the league faces. If the investigation is too thorough they'll start uncovering stuff they just don't want to know about with regards to the P*ts cheating. There's too much money involved for all the individual pieces in this puzzle to actually have an investigation that isn't a sham. -
Pressure Building for punishment in new Pats* scandal
Johnny Coli replied to AKC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. A guy who tried to extort a new stadium out the state by threatening to move the team would never stoop so low as to try and line his pockets with a win-at-all-costs attitude. Real stand up guy, that Krafty Bob. -
You know who should give it a rest? The Pats* ballwashers who think (wrongly) that the videotaping was the only way they were cheating. If they were willing to blatantly cheat by videotaping, blatantly cheated by having guys on the IR practice, and had at least one player using performance-enhancing drugs, then you'd have to be the most naive person in the world to think they weren't also cheating in some other fashion. Why is that so freaking hard to grasp for some of you? Belicheat is a dirtbag that cheated on his wife, cheated with another man's wife, and was caught cheating in his job. Those are !@#$ing facts. Not speculation. Not the rantings of a bitter fan of another team. Those are !@#$ing facts. The Superbowl wins were a sham. The 18-1 season was a sham. Belicheat and the Pats* are a fraud, and have been a fraud for eight god-damned years at the expense of the rest of the league and the fans of the league. Give it the !@#$ up, Apus.

Belicheating getting more media coverage
Johnny Coli replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Makes you wonder if the whole slap on the wrist was negotiated in order to make the reality of how extensive the cheating was get overlooked. The fine was really pennies for Krafty Bob to come up with, as he knew he was going to raise parking, concessions and tickets this offseason. The first round pick was moot, as they had two. Sure, to most people who are fans of the NFL a fine of that size seems astronomical, and on paper they can say "Hey, we took a first round pick away." But the reality is he cheated for eight years and nothing happened. -
Belicheating getting more media coverage
Johnny Coli replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The whole issue could be easily solved by banning Belicheat from the NFL, heavily fining Krafty Bob, and suspending anyone on Belicheat's coaching staff from last season. Let the Dom Capers era begin for the New England Shift-8's. -
Bills cheated also...No better than the Patriots...
Johnny Coli replied to genomich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another pathetic, grade-school inspired excuse by the New England Shift-8's fans to distract us from the fact that their coach is a cheat and a fraud, and that their organization is a disgrace. -
Thanks for the info, Lori. The podcasts are a great tease, but live sports radio for blood-thirsty, basement dwelling shut-ins has a visceral effect that podcasts just won't ever succeed in invoking. Good luck to Brad, and we hope he get's this online as soon as possible. We're standing by at the phones ready to "participate."

Boston Globe Article on Patriots
Johnny Coli replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not without precedent, either. Six months ago Roger Clemens was considered by almost everybody to be one of the greatest MLB pitchers of all time. A cheat is a cheat. I don't give a crap what kind of semantics Belicheat and the people sucking on his toes want to call it. It's cheating. One man/team got caught doing it. He should be banned from the game and the team should be heavily sanctioned for eight years of benefitting from it. Seems pretty simple. -
Any word on if that's gonna stream live at some point? There's a massive out-of-town contingent that would tune in via the 'tubes if there was a decent Buffalo sports show on.

Agreed. Belicheat has admitted to cheating. The league has determined they cheated. "Great" coaches don't cheat. He cheated on his wife, cheated with another man's wife, and cheated for at least eight years as a head coach. The word "great" should never be used when describing him unless it is immediately followed by the word "fraud." -

REPORT: PATS* HAD HUGE ADVANTAGE OVER EVERY NFL TEAM
Johnny Coli replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That argument is entirely stupid. This is a huge difference between knowing a teams tendencies and making an educated guess as to what defense they will try in specific instances and knowing the actual !@#$ing play. These league-memo talking points are a joke. -
I think people have overlooked the significance of what you're saying, and it's probably something the media should have connected to the whole issue as well. The P*ts built a new stadium and filled it on the back of what we now know to be tainted championships. They've raised ticket prices every year because they have people clamoring for tickets, something that was never the case for the majority of their history. Also, Krafty Bob is building a monument to his hubris next to the stadium in the form of P*triot Place. Via Wiki: There is a huge amount of debt Krafty Bob has amassed believing his team would continue to win "at all costs," knowing that once the team goes back into the tank (which it will sooner rather than later) the wallets of the fickle front-running bandwagon NE fans will close. He needed that SB. He didn't get it, but what he clearly did get was a complicit bag-man in the form of Roger Goodell who seems more than willing to toss the whole issue into the shredder. There's far, far too much money at stake in bringing down a franchise, even though that franchise is a complete and utter fraud and has flaunted it's contempt for players, other teams, other owners and league rules. Krafty Bob's tentacles reach into too many pockets for the NFL to do him in.

The NFL should print that right on the tickets, put it on a banner at the top of their online shop, and scroll it across the bottom of every televised game, then. Maybe someone should also notify Vegas.

Specter: Walsh indicated Jets taped as well
Johnny Coli replied to Willis990's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
News flash, troll. We've heard these juvenile "Everybody does it" excuses for nine months now. No one is buying your crap, and only one team has been caught and punished. One. -
Deep down we don't give a flying crap what some P*ts fan thinks. Your record in 2008 against the squad we root for will be pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Your coach has admitted to cheating for going on eight years. Deep down you know it's true (he's admitted it and the league has acknowledged it), and deep down you know everyone outside of NE thinks your coach is a fraud. The three Lombardi's will always be tainted. Your QB will always be considered a product of a system that relied on cheating to win. The entire organization will be looked upon with disgust for years to come. You're freaking high if you think NFL fans are going to let this die, and you're delusional if you think Goodell destroying the evidence vindicates your a-hole in a hoodie. He cheated on his wife. He cheated with someone else's wife. He cheated on the field. Deep down you know it. Now go !@#$ yourself.
-
!@#$ him. I hope every D-lineman in the league goes after that a-holes knees this year. You could pass a hat in every NFL stadium and have more than enough money to cover the fines. I also hope this is the year Bruschi has a heart attack and dies right on the god-damned 50 yard line, spread eagled in the middle of the P*ts logo. Cue the P*ts trolls, but know this. If you can root for an organization that has been cheating and ripping off the NFL fans for eight seasons, then I can root for a guy to die.

Lost amongst the discussion on the lack of a SB tape...
Johnny Coli replied to webtoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mentioned this during the game. The guy looked like he thought he had the answers to the final exam, only to realize once it started that he had the one's for a different test. I've never seen a guy so befuddled, to the point the anouncers said he had completely abandoned his defense during a couple drives becasue he had to huddle with his offensive coaches. You see it. I see it. Millions of others see it. Not sure why some are still grasping to this lack of evidence nonsense. The guy should be banned from the NFL. -
WTF? Not passing judgement til he is proven guilty? What the fug more proof do you need than a collection of freaking tapes, a guy who was told that he needed to be carefull not to get caught, the largest individual fine in NFL history, the obvious coverup by the league, destruction of evidence... Seriously, guy, Belicheat has been cheating admittedly since 2000. It doesn't matter what he calls it. His actions over the past eight seasons are the very definition of cheating. What the fug is your deal? How much more proof do you need? If this was a court of law he'd be guilty ten times over.

I can't believe we're picking 9th in 2009 draft
Johnny Coli replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Cowher regime will go with a linebacker, really. The fascination with first round CBs ended when we ran Jauronimo out of twon.
