Heard on Boston sports radio this morning that Branch is now listed as "questionable." It won't matter, though. The story of this game will be about Willis McGahee running over Paytoilet defenders for 120 yards and 2 TDs. Maybe it's the "Eternal Optimist" in me, but I don't think this game will be close. Bills crush the Patsies 27-10.

Just out of curiosity, because I'm in the same boat (fiance, planning a wedding), how much input am I actually required/wanted to do on this wedding thing? Basically, she asks my opinion, then in many cases, she does what she wants anyway. Is this how it's supposed to go?

And just what are you basing YOUR assumption on? How did you come to this conclusion that academia is a joke? You have to be an EO if you live in enemy territory (Beantown). Every Friday I leave work hoping that a Bills win will make Monday a good day. Haven't had too many of those lately. This Monday will be awesome, though.

Anyone else think that McGee has some weird destiny, convergence of the planets thing going now? He's either going to come up huge on special teams and D in this game, or he's going to get burned. I feel it will be the former, though. He's either going to run one back, or he's going to get a game-turning pick.

I just don't see this team taking a dump this Sunday PM. I'm willing to bet that if you talked to the individuals on this team and asked them who they'd rather beat more than anyone else in the league, and I suspect it would be the Pats. The humiliation ends Sunday night. The Bills will win this game.

Congrats, man. Kids seem to make everything else in the world that much less important. Have a cold Labatts, and definately bring one in for your wife, who could probably use one or two right about now. Seriously, though, hope she's doing fine.

PETA just doesn't get it. It's one thing to protest squirting new cosmetics into rabbits' eyes, but quite another to attack people doing usefull research. Animal models are a necessary part of the scientific process in finding cures and exploring the roots of disease. There are very strict guidelines as to how these animals are treated. Useless, Frankenstein-like science is a rarity.

That station is almost unlistenable at times. Their lack of knowledge about teams outside of the Pats/Sox/Bruins/Celts is astounding. Can't wait to hear the fat turd Sheppard predict a 65-0 romp over the Bills, then Smerlas agree with him. I hate Smerlas.

What's really cool now is that other teams' game plan can't be "Blitz the crap out of Bledsoe." They actually have to put some thought into it. I live here in Beantown, and the McGahee pick was absolutely ridiculed here. Can't wait to see him break a 25 yard run for a TD, going right through that punk Rodney Harrison.

So true. Mainstream radio is controlled by a handfull of companies that push a playlist to all of the stations that they own. You think lobbying only happens in DC? You should see what happens at large market radio stations. "Play this single, and we'll give you a live in-studio appearance, or we'll give it to the other guy up the block, and you can forget about using any of the other artists in our stable." It's pretty nauseating. College radio is where it's at. No commercials, no forced playlists, and no Bare Naked Ladies.
