  1. They could dangle him (by the neck) in front of Parcells. I think Vinny T is a FA (or retiring) and Henson didn't look so great in the few games I saw him in. Could be used to groom Henson, and would most likely finish his carreer with his first coach. Don't know what they would get for him, though.
  2. Shane Falco (Tommy Maddox): Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever.
  3. Anyone but the Paytoilets. I'm pulling for the Colts and Manning, though, so we don't have to hear how Brady is better because he was on a team that has a clutch kicker that won two superbowls.
  4. No doubt. I'd rather have a nut-job drunk kicker that can put it through under pressure than some total mary who can't kick a freaking 28 yard field goal. He just got a five year extension, though, so he's staying put.
  5. Sea Bass is the drunk. Didn't he pierce his ball sack back in 2001? I rememeber Pats fans getting on him about it in that game where the zebras ruled Brady's fumble an incomplete pass.
  6. The Clements INT sunday was awesome if you were listening to Field Pass. Van Pelt was screaming YES-YES-YES and you know he was probably pumping his fist, too. The Spikes INT was also pretty cool.
  7. Totally agree. I have to see Vinetari every week. I hate the guy, but he never freaking misses. Two superbowls, two game winning kicks. That gives the offense a ton of confidence knowing they have a shorter field and only have to get the ball inside the 40 yard line. As soon as Carolina's kicker booted that kick-off out of bounds, you knew that game was over, because the Pats only had to go like 40 yards.
  8. Muggsy Bogues. That little sh-- owes me money. You'll get yours you little f--ker.
  9. Tom Brady. Enough already. He helps orchestrate "the single most embarrassing upset of the last five years" (mad props to LABillzfan) and he still feels the love. Sickening. Any other QB would be getting strung up for that choke-job.
  10. The Pats haven't lost back-to-back games in a real long time. So, if the Jets have to go into St.L needing a win, I can see them curling out a big steamer on that carpet. Too much pressure.
  11. Do any posts that we made in that thread still count towards our total, or will the league take those away as well?
  12. I got a copy for my dad for x-mas, too. I'm getting it when he's done with it.
  13. Those of us that are about to have kids have a unique opprtunity to blow an entire generation's minds. And an aluminum pole is a hell of a lot cheaper than a damn x-mass tre here in beantown.
  14. Why should we move more to the center when the republicans are moving more to the right? We lost 51 to 48. No way. I don't know about any of the other libs on this board, but I'm not going to sacrifice what I believe in just because a few talking heads on TV say it's what we need to get back into the White House. I'll just fight harder on the local level.
  15. Clark W. Griswold: Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no! We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here! We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny !@#$ing Kaye! And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of !@#$s this side of the nuthouse!
  16. "If you want to be gentle, you can say that the Pats had an off night against a team playing out of its mind, and the real Pats will show up once the stakes are raised. If you want to be nasty, you can say that the deficiencies in their secondary were exposed. And if you want to be real nasty, you can say that Charlie Weis' double shift, Notre Dame and Foxborough, had some sort of subterranean influence that not even Bill Belichick's defensive bag of tricks (no linemen, six LBs, etc.) could cover." The whispers are getting louder... Can't wait for the media in this town (Boston) to run with it. I've got goosebumps...goose-bumps.
  17. Looks like they left pagans/satan-worshippers out of the poll. Must be an oversight.
  18. I wonder how many of these ultra-devout christians on the front lines of this percieved holy war will actually be going to mass on Christmas?
  19. From the article: "In a new CNN/USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, 44% of Americans surveyed said the trend toward "Happy Holidays" is a change for the better, and 43% said it wasn't. Only 11%, however, said they avoid saying "Merry Christmas" out of fear of offending someone." Doesn't look like that big of a deal to me.
  20. There's a little cowbell inside each and every one us, if we know where to look.
  21. Have you seen the Pats board? It's awfull. We've got it pretty good here. TSW is the best board I have seen. The Pats trolls showed up when we got Bledsoe and a few ended up hanging around. It's a testament to this board that they'd rather be here getting abused than on their own craptacular board. You're 100% right though. When they start losing and their team starts spiralling into the toilet, they'll be around a lot less, if at all.
  22. Was listening to The Black Halos from Vancouver, BC on the way into work this morning. Very Dead Boy-ish. They broke up in 2002. Here's a link to a free, legal mp3 or wma file. http://www.epitonic.com/artists/theblackhalos.html The Epitonic site has tons of free, legal downloads from Indie, Techno, Punk etc bands. Not a bad place to check out new music, or to get a feel for a genre that you know nothing about. http://www.epitonic.com/
