  1. And the second clown in the bigot circle jerk pops up. Nothing to say? Just a thumbs up for your mouthpiece, the coward in Alaska?
  2. This bit at the bottom of that link is actually more striking, in that the bigoted pigs that supported the Yes on Hate proposition are filing to nullify the 18,000 existing, legal marriages that had already taken place. These people are scum, and anyone that supports these POS are supporting bigotry, plain and simple. It has nothing to do with morals, and it has nothing to do with your bullsh!t religious superstitions. It has everything to do with hate. And, no, I don't have to tolerate your fugging bigotry.
  3. That's pretty much what I suspect, as well. He could be happy just doing what he's good at and comfortable with how much he's being paid to do it. That's why the talk of offering him the HC job if Jauron leaves is foolish, IMO.
  4. He's been a ST coach/coordinator in the NFL for 17 years on 5 different teams. He either isn't looked upon as someone capable of advancing or he's repeatedly stated that's as much as he wants to do. I have no idea, but if a guy has had the same position with five different companies (or in this case, franchises) spanning two decades, never advancing higher than the position he attained 17 years ago, then there has to be a reason. Maybe he just doesn't want the headache of being a HC? Is a guy with no ambition really the type of guy you want as the head coach of an NFL football team? Any insight, Lori?
  5. Unfortunately, a bright spot is often associated with a retinal tear. Clearly, only an idiot would accept medical advice from an NFL team message-board. On the other hand, any optimism at this point in the season could be a symptom of a serious medical condition.
  6. They should be practicing on the roof. The air is thinner on the roof.
  7. The caption says they found gold in the sand but I'm not seeing any.
  8. That play was huge. They were 0-1 in the division but still were in the driver's seat. However they really needed that win against the Jets at home to not go down 0-2 in the division and heading into NE* the following week, where they were sure to lose. Once they lost that Jets game they were 0-2 in the division and swiftly on their way to 0-3. The dice had been cast at that point and they were for all intents and purposes finished.
  9. Unreal. Doesn't Jauron know Trent is still suffering from the lingering effects of a concussion?
  10. Yeah, wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea.
  11. Do you people have any idea of how ridiculous that sounds? To paraphrase..."Trent's too fragile to play, but we're 100% behind making him the starter next year, so we're not going to play him in case he gets hurt, even though it wouldn't matter because the start of the next season is nine months away." If you're worried about him getting injured for a game nine months away then maybe this guy is too damn fragile to be in the league at all. The kid injured his groin. Lucky for him it kept him off the field while the team is finishing off the death spiral that he had a hand in or we'd probably be running him out of town with Jauron.
  12. What do you mean by "first one here"?
  13. So he's fine in practice, looks all-world against SD a mere 14 days after getting the concussion, then is fine in practice again M-Sat...but at 1:00 on Sunday his brain injury suddenly manifests itself. Then he's fine again to practice all week...except at 1:00 the next Sunday, and at 1:00 the next Sunday, and at 8:15 the next Monday. But his brain injury takes the Sunday off in KC, then moves to his groin the following week. How much do you charge an hour for your medical opinion, and do you take Blue Cross?
  14. I love the "Holiday Inn" diagnoses on this board. Nice job suspending medical reality to explain why Trent has been terrible for seven weeks, except when he plays the bottom-feeders. Trent's out this week because he's having a bad internal chemical flow day. LOL
  15. If rushing him back from a concussion means he'll go 25-30 for 261 yards and a TD, and spreading it around to seven different guys in a win, then someone should lay his a$$ out in practice every Thursday. This concussion nonsense was stupid over a month ago, and its even more stupid now. Since the concussion he had two good games against lame competition and four lousy ones against good competition. End of story. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and accept his tweaked groin, but will you people stop it with this concussion nonsense? As for the OP, I think if he had to he'd be on the field, but the season is over and there's no way Jauron puts him in against Denver on the road or NE* at home. If we get to January and Trent ends up having surgery for his groin, then I'll admit I'm wrong.
  16. It's not like Parcells was the one that got away and Miami somehow outbid the Bills for his services. What's Ralph got to be livid about? Wilson would never hire a Parcells-like person to run the show any more than he's going to shell out the bucks for a Cowher. IMO, Ralph thinks the team is weak in depth and talent, had some key injuries again, and the collapse was partly out of Jauron's hands. If Jauron signed the contract, and we're now 48 hours away from it being reported without any denial by the Bills, then 1) Ralph isn't going to eat Jauron's contract, 2) but if he does he's going to factor that in when he hires the next coach. Face it, we're either stuck with Jauron for a few more years, or the next coach will be some clown who's willing to work for pennies. Bottom's up!
  17. Isn't Jauron one of those "integrity of the game" types? Both the Denver and NE* games have significance with respect to the playoff scenarios, and despite how horrible Losman looked at the end of that last game he's probably going to go with him if Trent still can't go. I can't see him inserting the third string QB into those games. You play your 3rd string QB in the pre-season to see what you've got in a worst-case scenario. But, realistically, Hamdan isn't going to be competing for the starting job next season, so I don't see him seeing the field in this situation, really. It would be fun for the circus aspect of it, but a guy like Jauron isn't going to cater to it. Maybe if its a blow-out in either direction he'll see some action.
  18. Edwards won't play another down this season. If he can't go against Denver they're not going to put him in against NE* in the Ralph. If they're worried about his fragile psyche then putting a soft, low confidence young QB who hasn't played well in the cold and hasn't played in four + games would be malpractice. Plus, no way they put that kid in in the last game against a team that will crush his confidence and possibly his fragile body. Let Losman get the boos and the beat-down. He won't be in WNY next season.
  19. You can't. You'd be down to one QB, Hamdan. The proper thing to do is sit him down for the last two games and play Hamdan.
  20. Astute observation, crayonz. You can't make a 4th quarter come-back if you're winning. Trent Edwards...the "bring the team back to lose within three after throwing four picks in the first half" kid. There isn't a prevent defense in the league that he can't torch and come up just short against.
  21. The story of the extension has been out there for over 24 hours now and the Bills haven't denied it. Someone full of optimism could still cling to the hope that it isn't true, but as Bills fans we already know it is. There is no Santa Claus. Uncle Bob was in jail and not a CIA spy like your parents told you. Dick Jauron signed an extension.
  22. They called that play from their own 27 yard line, no less. I don't think another coach calls that play in their own end of the field no matter who the QB is.
  23. It is my feeling that they were going to officially announce his extension after yesterday's game, but, in light of how that game ended felt that an announcement at that time would be throwing gas on a fire and quickly tore up the fax to the press. They'll let people speculate on the obvious for two weeks, hope that they can get another win and announce the extension at that time. If they lose out, they'll announce it once people have moved on after week 17. Of course, that's just speculation on my part, but they haven't exactly come out with any denial that a contract extension isn't already inked and signed.
