  1. BTW, we also hate baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet.
  2. Jesus. I didn't even know 1510 The Zone was still on the air. I can't stand WEEI, but the Zone was too pitiful of a substitute when I gave it a try. Does that a-hole Bill Simmons still guest host on that station?
  3. Last I knew, all they (the latinos who sneak across) want are jobs. Most work as dishwashers, crop labor, janitor services...you know, all the jobs that today's legal american youth refuse to work. Not much of a menace if you ask me. All the ones that worked in the kitchens I worked in had two jobs, and sent all their money home to their families. In fact, it could be said that their work ethic almost surpasses most american's work ethic.
  4. We'll laugh if it's funny. If not, we'll consider the source. I take it back. That was pretty hilarious.
  5. When they do find out that Armstrong was/is doping, you still won't like the french. Why get worked up over a scumbag like Armstrong?
  6. I thought the spectre of doping has hung over him for a while. Didn't one of his own people say he was using? Whatever. I can't stand the guy, and wish he would just go away. Michelle Wie can go to hell, too.
  7. Solid post, eball. I don't give a rat's a$$ if he does the polka back there, as long as he keeps up the productive drives we've seen so far. Jesus, at one point in the GB game the Bills were 5 for 5 on third down conversions. Pretty freaking impressive if you ask me. He's gonna throw picks, he's gonna get sacked, and he's gonna look foolish sometimes. But he improves with every damn snap.
  8. Did you chuck anything at that little kid with the Farvre jersey on a few rows in front of you? Not in our house!!
  9. I totally agree. He'll be lights-out tonight. He may even look "resurrected" through the first 4 to 6 games of the regular season. Then mediocrity will set in, then head-scratching game-time decisions, then complete bafflement as to what the hell he is doing out there. But through it all, he'll play just good enough to keep his job.
  10. That goes without saying. They've won it three out of the last four years. But that doesn't negate the fact that THIS year they have zero depth at inside linebacker, and appear to be susceptible to the run.
  11. No concern at all, huh? 125 rushing yards right down your throat, and the Saints converted 5 of 8 third downs against your varsity squad. Granted, they were without Vrabel, Warren and Phifer, but that's a pretty mediocre display even for the pre-season against a crappy Saints team. That ball doesn't bounce off a shoe and into Harrison's hands, and it would have been an ugly first half for the Patsies. You keep telling yourself there's no problem, though.
  12. I watched the first half. He took a few good shots. That first pick was a thing of beauty. On another note, the Pats D looks very vulnerable to the run. They played their starters for the whole first half and gave up 125 rushing yards, much of it straight up the middle. The patsy trolls will probably mention that Ty Warren wasn't in, but that's a single defensive lineman. The Genius has some work to do. As was discussed by the Fox "analysts", their first few games are against teams with solid running games. It's only pre-season, but they don't look that spectacular to this armchair drunk. There was a Flutie sighting. High comedy. He's wearing number 2.
  13. It was a great hour of TV (minus the Bledsoe stuff, which was a bit too heavy on the Pats footage, I might add). The Kalsu segment had me choked up.
  14. Not only was my original vote wiped out, but it won't let cast another one. Is it because I'm mexican? What kind of racist crap is this?
  15. Rick Reilly, I think. Yeah, I was pissed, too. After almost a full hour of pro-Buffalo (the city, and fans) stories, they slide that tool into the documentary. Totally uncalled for, IMO. He writes for SI. !@#$ Reilly and everyone else.
  16. The Pats first-stringers gave up 125 rushing yards in the first half. Hmmmm......
  17. Jesus...think Brady's looking over his shoulder? 3 snaps, 2 TDs...all he does is win
