  2. I got to get to the Harp one of these weeks. Heard you guys ran out of grub this week.
  3. My wish would be for them to go 8-8, or 7-9, and return to the mediocrity from whence they came not to long ago.
  4. Outstanding post. As a fellow New Englander you are dead-on with the Pats fan assessment. The end is near for them my friend. The end is near. No more parades. No more Brady Jerseys for cats and dogs. We will rejoice in their misery.
  5. The Pats are 1-1. Are they doomed? Let's try to keep this in perspective. They went on the road to play an outstanding defense in 95 degree weather. It's safe to say that they won't play any worse than today for the rest of the season. Learn from it, then move on.
  6. We'll go 4-4, bye week, then 6-2 (10-6 and playoffs). There are going to be Sundays like this.
  7. Optimist (read: drunk) here. As bad as they played in the first half, they are only down by 6 points on the road in oppressive heat. They will get it done.
  8. If it were my decision I would go with Jackson. Here are my reasons, however idiotic Oakland is playing KC. The Oakland Def sucks ass, so this game could be a blow-out early, meaning it will be three quarters of Kerry Collins dropping back and chucking it downfield, seriously limiting L-Jordans touches. Also, IMO Jackson is used more by StL in both phases of the offensive game plan, so even if their plan is limited wrt the run, he still gets you receptions/ rec yards. That's my take. Which ultimately means Jordan will probably rush for 155 yards, and have 6 receptions for 75 yeards, and Jackson will get injured on the first drive .
  9. Lucky socks, skivvies, jersey, pants, hat, etc. None will get washed if the Bills are on a winning streak. There will be smells, man. There will be smells.
  10. I have to agree with all the people who will watch it completely alone. It'll be too intense to be around total strangers, and I won't subject my loved ones to the sights, sounds, and smells that will be going down that afternoon/evening.
  11. I'll post this again because it got buried in POOJER's thread... Hasselbeck at home against Atlanta Warner at home against St.Louis The big question is stay safe and put in Hasselbeck coming off a mediocre performance in week one (and facing a decent Atlanta defense), or go with a risky hunch that this could be a huge game for Warner (I said "could") at home against an average StL defense? Warner spread it around quite a bit last week, and with these two lame defenses (ie StL and Arz) it could be a shootout between Warner and Bulger. Also, center Alex Stepanovich comes back for 'Zona this week, maybe helping out the running game and pass protection. Then again, Hasselbeck is playing at home against an Atlanta team coming off a huge Monday night win. Clearly, it sounds like I'm leaning towards taking a major risk in starting Warner, but I'm looking for the more knowledgable of you to talk me out of it . What say you?
  12. Dennis Miller used to be funny before he sold out to become a shill for the right wing.

  14. I had no idea you were a real human being. All this time I thought you were a composite of mildly successful commercial advertising cartoon characters. Once again, I am humbled by my ignorance. My sincere apologies, sir.
  15. Like an R.Rich autographed football and an R.Rich game worn jersey? Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, people. Give the man his troll back. It's just not cool.

  17. He just got sacked on the 1 yard line. Why am I enjoying this so much? I feel dirty.
  18. Balanced, mistake-free offense. Dominating defense. This is going to be a fun season.
