There were a lot of players on that team that were part of all three Superbowls. By that logic they should all be on the all-decade team. That's where I find problems in this whole "Brady went to three Bowls in 4 years so he must be the best" arguement. In my opinion, the coaching, the defense, and the kicker had far more to do with those championships than Brady did. It's been argued in countless other threads.

Bingo. A lot of the ESPN guys are NE sportswriters. I find ESPN to be unwatchable.

My feeling all along was that he put her out there thinking the Dems would shoot her down based on her lack of qualifications, and mostly that she was his choice. Then he could submit the name of a very conservative, but ideally qualified person, and the Dems would be exposed as partisan hacks. In this case, though, the rabid right abandoned him, and took aim at this paper-doll conservative, ironically because she didn't have a complete enough conservative-leaning resume. Now the Dems can do what they want with the next one. Weird. I thought Rove and Cheney were smarter than that.

It's hard to see if you typed this with a straight face or not.

Geniuses in that they were able to convince a lot of people to do something many didn't want to, and keep them convinced it was the right way to do it for a long time. But idiots in the sense that they thought they would never get caught. Isn't that how it always works with diabolical geniuses?
