  1. What part of neither is an NFL starter did you not get. Brissett is terrible. That is why he was a backup. He is a GREAT backup. A TERRIBLE starter.
  2. The Bills backup is better than the Colts starter. That is how you know the Bills are headed somewhere. Bills have depth everywhere. ?
  3. Great mentor. As for McCoy it was WIN-WIN. He wanted out of Buffalo because he wasn't going to touch the ball too often. Singletary needs and will now get more than a few carries a game.
  4. Maybe the Bills should just go for it on ALL 4th downs. ?
  5. His backup will replace him around game 4. He is terrible.
  6. Sorry you season is over when your franchise QB goes down, UNLESS you have a HOF coach and a future HOF defensive coordinator and the opposing team's coach gets conservative and forces his field goal kicker to try a 47 yard field goal on grass. ?
  7. Kizer and Peterman are not that bad. They played on AWFUL teams with no offensive lines and no receivers. Neither is an NFL started but both are very capable backups on decent teams with franchise QB's. When Franchise QB's go down, it really doesn't matter anyway. The season is over.
  8. The Jets Defense is bad. With WIlliamson now gone with torn ACL and Copeland suspended for PED's, they are now AWFUL. As for the Bills, the Bills addressed the problem by drafting a future Pro Bowler with their first pick. Their defense is elite. It looked that way in the preseason too.
  9. I will take a weakling good Punter over some "STUDS"
  10. Saquon Barkley no longer the best #26 in the NFL. ?
  11. Do we really want to play with the chemistry of our dominating defense with only a few days before the opener?
  12. Oliver and Devin White appear to be everyone's defensive rookie of the year candidates. We will see.
  13. Bills have best defense in the NFL. Sure the Bears, Cowboys, Chargers, and Jacksonville are elite defenses, but Oliver is the game-changer. I am not a Ravens defense believer. The Bills defense will get turnovers this year. Lots of them.
  14. The Bills are actually underdogs on the road. I expect the Bills Defense to win the first 3 games against 3 very bad football teams. The offense will do what it needs to do and gain some confidence. Bills will be very tough second half of season once that offense begins to gel.
  15. The Bills were rebuilding, not tanking. Their defense was actually very good that year. The Dolphins are tanking. They are trading away All-Pros and have no talent anywhere. They are essentially the Cleveland Browns. It worked for the Browns. Maybe it will work for them. Guessing they go 2-14. Maybe 1-15.
  16. Classy statement. McCoy never really wanted to be in Buffalo. His constant off-season comments about wanting to return to Philadelphia were annoying. Was a great player in his prime, but glad to see him gone. He really does not fit the Buffalo Bills organization. Neither did Mario Williams. He doesn't need to learn from two guys. One is just fine. And Gore is a better back than McCoy to learn from.
  17. I would not sell Singletary and Oliver short because they are rookies. I would not be surprised if both are stars as rookies.
  18. The Bills have depth. This is the best team they have put on the field since the 1990's.
  19. Bills Defense should dominate this game. Offense will do what it needs to do. Bills 24 Jets 10. Go Bills!!!

  21. NE has Tom Brady. It is a lot easier to run when teams have to play the pass virtually every down. And the Bills ran for 124 yards a game last year. The Patriots ran for 127. Not a big difference. The Ravens and Seahawks both ran for 150+ per game. Did not work out too well for them.
  22. Ridiculous post. First, they made the playoffs in year 1 and had a solid showing in Jacksonville. Second, they had a rookie QB in year 2. Who cares about year 2. The entire point is to get your franchise QB up to speed in the NFL. Third, this team they are putting on the field in 2019 is the best team the Bills have put on the field in over a decade. They have a franchise QB, a top rated defense, and a solid YOUNG supporting cast. This is a very good football team.
  23. There is no ratio. It depends on who you are playing and how your defense is playing. The Bills need to establish a running game early in games this year. The 3rd and longs are killers for young quarterbacks. Defensive Coordinators just bring pressure and make life miserable. It is much easier to confuse a 2nd year QB than a Tom Brady. Don't get into the 3rd and long situations and he will have a great year.
  24. The Running Back was much more valuable in the past before the NFL decided to make it a passing league. Can't blame the Bills for bringing in McCoy but he probably should have been moved last year. Hard to move a big name RB though off the first playoff season in nearly two decades. The Patriots did not invest a ton in the RB position. They invested 12 million over 3 years with only 4.69M guaranteed. That is probably what one should invest. Investing 9 million in a running back that would get 1/3rd of carries is not smart. McCoy is now being paid what he should be paid. $3M with up to $4M. Bills had to cut McCoy at the salary he was getting.
  25. Expect the Bills to get very good the second half of the season. This works for the Bills too. The second half is much tougher than the first half. In fact the Bills should be 6-2 or 5-3 at the midway point. The home games against the Ravens and Broncos will likely determine if the Bills make the playoffs. Win those two home games and the Bills are playoff bound with a very dangerous defense and running game. Anything can happen at that point.
