  1. Mayfield looks really bad 11-25 and seems very unsure of himself.
  2. Since you can only rate based upon what each team has actually done thus far, there is no way you could conceivably put Piit and CLE above the Bills. They were both putrid. The games aren’t played on paper. Of course, these “rankings” don’t mean much other than fan banter.
  3. Great video. Nice fan base leaving before game was over.
  4. Sporting news has also noticed the cheap shot. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/jets-henry-anderson-accused-of-dirty-late-hit-on-bills-qb-josh-allen/17apsprv03hvc1poeyitofaqx3
  5. He got up AFTER the ball was released and took 3 steps before “falling” into the back of Josh’s knees. It’s obviously intentional. Fortunately there was no injury on the play. He was abused by Josh on the TD run a bit earlier and I wonder if that played into his frustration.
  6. Probably 80-85% of all games come down to the last 10 minutes of the game. Either holding onto a lead or trying to come back from a deficit. I really want to know how you play in crunch time. Josh played lights out during crunch time. We will win many more games than we lose if he continues that type of play.
  7. So you believe we will have balls bouncing off receivers hands, hitting their thigh and going straight into the arms of a linebacker going forward?
  8. Most games come down to 4th quarter play. If you dominate the 4th quarter you will win most games. Really good to see the Bills dominate on both sides of the ball.
  9. Agreed. The ball bounced really bad for the Bills, but they found a way to win. We batted 5 balls into the air and, while close, we couldn’t get one of them to fall into the arms of one of our defenders.
  10. So true, particularly during games when things might not be going quite right. It’s amazng how some think the second half of games will play out exactly like the first. It never happens that way.
  11. Doesn’t matter. And we’ll probably not have another game with those types of turnovers. Unbelievable win. When you lose the turnover battle by 4 you have less than a 1% chance of winning.
  12. The Bears are a team that needs the D to play lights out and get turnovers. Last year the D was number 1 and they scored 6 TDs. That didn’t happen last night. They will not be successful if they are relying on Trubisky to win games for them throwing the ball 45 times.
  13. Well, if he passes/runs for 30-35 TD’s that’s an average of 2 per game. Adding another 16 for others (Gore, Singletary, ST and D) that’s an average of 3 per game. If that happens the Bills will be in the playoffs.
  14. That’s why completion percentage in and of itself is a joke statistic. You could probably have a 75% completion rate if all your passes travel no more than 3 yards.
  15. Good point. If a guy can make contested catches in the red zone, he can make them all over the field. I also go back to Beane’s comment in the beginning of August when he pointed out that “separation” was a bit overrated in bad weather games when being physical is more important.
  16. Unless I am missing something Williams is the only WR on the PS. He will definitely get a chance on the 53. I believe, based upon Beane’s prior statements about needing big receivers in bad weather, that he will get his chance.
  17. I said this in another thread that they wanted both but only wanted 6 WR, and the only way to do that was to hope Williams cleared waivers. It worked out for them. As soon as an injury occurs to a WR (which inevitably will occur) he’ll be on the 53. See Robert Foster last year.
  18. Exactly my feelings. Any team in this league that’s on their 3rd team QB is toast anyway. Best just to get an Anderson type just to finish out the season.
  19. I believe that’s correct.
  20. Correct, if you IR him before the 53 cutdown he’s done for season.
  21. Agreed. I think that’s why the cuts are staggered the way they are.
  22. I do think they plan to use McKenzie as a gadget type player on offense. I do agree Williams gives them something no other WR does but it all comes down to somewhat of a guessing game. If they think he will clear waivers, it works out.
  23. I mentioned this earlier, but it really came down to keeping 6 WR on the 53. They liked both McKenzie and Williams and the only way to have both available was to have Williams clear waivers and put him on PS.
  24. I forgot about that. As a “vested” vet you are guaranteed full year salary if on roster week one. This is a smart move.
