    He was taking the equivalent of first team reps today. Unless he has some sort of setback he’s playing.

    Agreed it’s the same playbook, but you will probably use it differently based upon the QB’s strengths and weaknesses.

    The difference is your defense has to play a lot different if Allen plays vs Barkley. Most teams keep a spy on Allen and won’t against Barkley so it does make a significant difference.

    Exactly, the team can always make the decision to play or not play someone even if the protocol has been met.

    Actually all his passes are check downs. The announcers even mentioned his average pass goes about 3yards in the air.

    That may be what the officials yesterday were looked at but they would be incorrect. If you stop your route right in front of the defender, causing the defender to go around, it is PI. Otherwise you are telling DB’s to make sure if a receiver stops immediately in front of you to make sure you contact him to get the call. That certainly isn’t the point tent of the rule.

    Wrong. Any act that hinders the defender. There doesn’t need to be contact.

    I don’t understand why people keep bringing this up when other receivers can make tough catches from these “wildly inaccurate” passers. He just doesn’t seem to be able to fight through tough coverage.

    Yet Knox made a contested catch at the end of the first half and Smoke made one with Gilmore all over him. When was the last time Jones made a similar catch?

    I just don’t remember him making a “contested” catch. We’ve already seen Knox and some younger players come down with 50/50 balls. You need top receivers to come down with some of these catches.

    Man, the Packers D is pretty bad. Unless they get turnovers they are in trouble.

    I’ve said this before-85% of all games are won, or lost, in the 4th quarter. You win the 4th and you generally win the game.
