I agree and Hope But when your the 16th highest paid at your position, and just had the season you did you and your agent are going to realize you're underpaid. Again look what happened with Hopkins. -

You all realize Mahomes only accounted for 5mil towards the cap this year. So using him as an example doesnt work -

Mahomes 24mil/yr cap hit? 10yr 450mil contract, your math doesnt add up -

Off course the Bills can afford both, but how big of an impact will it have on the rest of the roster... Look at what has happened to the seahawks after Wilson got paid. -

Not worried it was a question? Allen wont get 30mil plus? Hopkins just sign and will be getting on avg 25mil, Diggs isnt going to want the same? -

what team has a 30plus mil QB and a 25mill WR? -
There is no doubt Diggs is going to ask for more money. Deandre Hopkins yearly salary is going to be nearly twice that of diggs. Diggs is going to ask for more money, and based on other contracts he deserves it. I know he has 3 full seasons left, but so did hopkins before his trade. Going to be very tough to afford these two unless the bills ride out Allens contract till his 5th year, which I think is best.

How exactly can the bills afford this?
-
It was obvious Daboll is not close to Reid/Bienemy in play calling. Bills didnt adjust and had 0 creativity. Didnt do anything to provide a spark. My belief is Daboll wasnt really that close to getting A HC job, and my best guess is hes still with the Bills in 2022, and Im not sold thats a good thing. Its one thing to lose a game, its another when the strength of the team (offense) looks absolutely terrible. Allen didnt help as he looked nervous/scared but I put this more on Daboll.

Gabe Davis was a great hit, and could be a real solid #2. Epenesa, and Moss did not look good as rookies, and honestly didnt even show flashes. Singletary seemed to have taken 4 steps back, and it looks like the Bills still need to draft a RB. Moss just seemed like another guy, not a great look for a 3rd guy. Yes Kicker was solid but i think we couldve gotten the same performance (as least close) with Hausheka(sp). Fromm Obviously didn't have a chance to show what he can do, and we're all ok with that. My gut is this team isnt as solid as everyone thinks. Minus Poyer, Hyde, White, the Defense is pretty bare.

Looking back at the season and what rookies contributed was this draft class at this point a swing and miss? Gabe Davis seems to be the only contributor after 1yr. Epenesa over JK dobbins looks like a huge mistake.

Why is Allen's improvement linked to Daboll?
dbfla10 replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dont want Daboll fired but Im not afraid if he leaves to be a HC. The Bills will be fine, and possibly better without him. -

I am on board with this. Daboll has had 1 yr being a solid OC. He was awful at his other 3 stops, and honestly wasnt good at Alabama. I have no problem with Daboll leaving, and think the Bills will be fine. Especially with an OC that knows how to run the ball. Bills run scheme of inside and outside zone is terrible... Reminds me of university of Florida. -
What JC Jackson said to Stefon Diggs
dbfla10 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
why does every one love Milano and Edmunds so much. They rarely make big impact plays, especially edmunds. Dont be surprise if neither are resigned. -
Any one else worried that a team like Baltimore or the Browns will just run all over the Bills D and keep the ball out of Allens hands. Much like what Parcells did in super bowl 25?
-
I understand his play calling has been pretty spot on, but if the QB doesnt understand his reads and coverage than the play calling doesnt matter. In season Dorsey is the guy in his ear daily. I am not saying Dorsey is "the guy" but Daboll has had 1 good year in his career as an OC. I am totally ok with him leaving, and cant blame him for leaving while his name is hot.
-
I honestly dont think it matters. I feel Daboll is very overrated. Why people talking so highly of Daboll and no one talks about Ken Dorsey. Dorsey also was the qb coach with Carolina during Cams best yrs. While Daboll up until this year statistically was a below average OC. Hopefully he goes to the Jets where the Bills will have 2 wins a year

Christian Wade, will we ever see him?
dbfla10 replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is a O% chance he ever makes an NFL game roster. Just cause he is fast doesnt mean he'd be a good RB. His speed against 4th string guys is what caught everyones eyes. Theres a lot more to being a RB then just speed. -
How does everyone feel if Josh Allen continues to play the way he has the last 4games. Basically just an average qb who still has the tendency to make a boneheaded plays (like running out of bounds instead of throwing ball away) along with turning the ball over.

Baltimore basically gave a 5th rounder for him, and Vikings basically only got a 5th for him... Baltimore can let him walk and get a 3rd comp pick in return, Vikings could of done the same... This is a great move by Baltimore, and why they continue to be a top 5 team very year.
