  2. or... WE BE 'D' GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey
  3. That's a tough one to forgive - Fridge getting the rushing TD instead of Payton, especially after they lost yardage having Perry try throw a halfback-option pass for the TD Favorite sign to the hyper-salivating Bears head coach - seen at "The Ralph" many moons ago - during a Bears-Bills game on our (then) newly installed turf... "HEY DITKA...DON'T SPITKA ON OUR NEW CARPET!!!!" Ditka's such a slob
  4. Love the idea of Michael Jasper as a guard. It's positively freaky that, while being 80 pounds heavier, Jasper ran basically the same 40-time as the top guard in the this year's draft, Steelers first-round (#24-overall) draft pick David DeCastro - while out-jumping DeCastro by 3 inches in the vertical leap and 15 inches in the broad-jump!!!! Personally, I'd also love to see Big Mike occasionally used as a fullback goal-line situations - a la Da Bearsss William "Refrigerator" Perry - though Ditka's circus-like trick plays might be a bit over-the-top for Chan Gailey... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey
  5. 19 and 0 baby!!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!
  6. owns...owns...
  7. It's like déjà vu all over again... Link - TSW-5June2012-Where is Alex Tanney now?
  8. An obvious Belicheat*-inspired move by Chief's GM (and former Cheatriettes* VP of Player Personnel) Scott* Pioli* to steal vital Bills secrets before our Sept. 16th home opener against KC
  9. Dang...five years of German, wasted (Who knew there'd be a slew of German scholars and Philosophy majors here on TSW??? ) .
  10. I have heard that Harvard is the Mizzou of the Ivy League But I must confess - the first time I read the Neitzsche quote was not in any Philosophy class, but on the label of a bottle of Goat Scrotum Ale GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .
  11. Either the Bills have what it takes to overcome any adversity, or not...we'll know soon enough. Screw the schedule - in the immortal words of Friedrich Nietzsche... “Was mich nicht umbricht, macht mich stärker, baby!!!” GO BILLSSS!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  12. Superbowl-bound, baby... GO BILLSSS!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  13. I'll tell you what I glean from all this, Justin (although I think you already know)... 19 and 0 baby!!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!
  14. IMHO, the Cheatriettes* are not a measuring stick for anything at all, simply because they* are recidivist cheaters and any success* they* ever attained* was achieved* by cheating. GO BILLSSS!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .
  15. Agreed - they shoulda hired... Mike Leach .
  16. If it will bring a merciful end to yet another ridiculously-premised, long-winded, excessively verbose, self-indulgent, and meaningless EA thread, I will concede the OP's original point... Nix may be different than the other Bills GMs that preceded him! (There...see how easy that was? ) GO BILLSSS!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .
  17. Yeah, I can't believe Nix didn't try to sign Robert Meacham
  18. ...or out of Chris Berman's mouth. GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .
  19. Jason Peters will be voted NFC's starting Left Tackle
  20. GO BILLS INDEED!!! Changed the avatar as soon as I saw the pic of the bearded, professorial-looking Coach Gailey at this year's rookie-camp (The Drew Brees/Joe D thing had run its course, and I wanted something completely positve and Bills-related going into the season!) Now I just gotta get one of those New Era caps that Chan is wearing...
  21. The Ice Boom (After it hits you, you're out cold!) GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  22. I have only this to add... "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey
  23. Cherepinsky...what a total waste of oxygen and human skin. I had forgotten that he ever existed. A non-entity if ever there was one, I had that a-hole completely erased from my mind until you mentioned his name. Thanks a lot, EssJay
  24. Merely being enrolled in college at the age of 19 strikes you as 'impressive credentials'??? Really??? JMO, but it seems like you set the bar pretty low. I certainly don't mean to besmirch young Robby or his ambitions - I sure he's a solid young man with lofty aspirations and an impeccable work ethic. I just wouldn't cite his youthful writings (nor anything else from the garbage pit known as B/R) here on TSW as the writings of an experienced, knowledgeable, seasoned sports journalist. (Maybe I'd have gone a bit lighter had the OP referred to the author as 'Young, 19-year-old, Wannabe-Sports-Columnist Robby Quinn' - rather than "Mighty Quinn" from Bleacher Report ) You, OTOH, I'll be happy to besmirch - since you've displayed your ignorance by deciding to lob a grenade in my direction without any provocation, nor knowledge of my circumstances. At 19, I was a freshman at Cornell with a 20+ credit-hour load - studying astro with Carl Sagan, psych with James Maas, history with Walter LaFeber, and music with Don Randall, Malcolm Bilson, Steve Stucky, Donald Grout, Karel Husa, etc., etc. As a music history and performance major, I also had to have a reading knowledge of French, German, and Italian. As if that wasn't enough, I was also stupid enough to enroll in a 6 credit-hour Intensive Elementary Russian course. (I thought maybe one day I might work in Reagan's White House, or for the State Department or CIA.) All that time in the stacks and study carrels of Uris Library, along with untold hours in the basement practice rooms of Lincoln Hall, left little time for keg parties. Don't get me wrong - I certainly don't begrudge you your kegs of Genny Cream Ale, but I just didn't have the time - you see, I pretty much had to pay my own way thru scholarships, work-study, and part-time jobs. (My dad - a Polish immigrant - contributed what he could, but his steelworker wages hardly covered the expenses of the school I chose to attend.) But do take heart - at least you were right about one thing. (A lifetime first for you, perhaps?) As an accomplished musician who plays multiple instruments, I have become fairly ambidextrous...thus I do sometimes confuse my right and my left sides!!! Oh...and despite my disdain for Sullivan, only someone with a mental deficiency would pose the question whether Gaughan and Sullivan are more qualified than Robbie. GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .
  25. I believe Mister Quinn is Robbie's daddy! GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
