  1. 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  2. Most Bills songs are a bit corny, or just plain bad - these guys do some pretty decent ones. "12th Man" - in 2010 - was their best, IMO, but it's outdated. Here's the latest from The Jambrones... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  3. Rex Ryan: "Derek, can you tell me anything about the Bills' game plan this Sunday?" Derek Hagan: "Yeah - you won't score, and your quarterbacks are gonna get killed." GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  4. As previously stated 3 weeks ago (link)... The season opener will be over mid-way thru the first quarter, as the Bills overwhelm the ill-prepared and poorly coached Jets... Buffalo Bills 74 New Jersey Jets - 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  5. Seem a long way from the old AFL days when coaches hung a bed sheet on the wall for a screen, turned on the projector, and the players sat on milk crates as they watched their game film.
  6. Illness precludes my joining the fun - will put a clothespin on my aorta to simulate the experience... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  7. Oh boy...only 5 days til the season opener... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  8. Unfortunately, The Barkevious One will likely go in the top 5. I'm just hoping that, somehow, Manti Te'o falls to us at the #32 spot - or we can trade up to get him. ILB will be a need, IMO... GO BILLSSS!!!! 119 and 0 baby!!!!!
  9. Two words... Barkevious Mingo
  10. Depending on how fast Tavaris Jackson assimilates the offense, how quickly Brad Smith's injury heals, and who's available on the waiver wire (QB and otherwise), TT may not even remain on the roster until opening day. Folks get soooo worked up about these things - just relax, and let it all happen
  11. If the Jets can hold Fitz and the Bills to only 74 points, blowhard Rex Ryan will describe his team's effort as ''very encouraging''! Buffalo Bills 74 New Jersey Jets - 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  12. If one were compiling a list of GOAT QBs, Brady would have to be WAY down the list - probably somewhere between 30 and 50, depending on just how much you're in love with him.
  13. Yes, of the 'honey-roasted' variety, and it benefits Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Carly's Club - so everyone please eat lots of it!!!!
  14. Makes me want to have a geat big bowl of cereal...
  15. Obviously, the Bills PS will be comprised of players other that the those the Bills have just cut - they'll be looking at players waived be other teams as well. And all players must clear waivers before being signed to the PS, as another team may want to claim them for their active roster. Knowing that, why is anyone getting apoplectic that the Bills are taking their time to comb thru the ranks of waived players throughout the league to try strengthen their own roster? Regarding Asper (et al) the Bills have no control over other teams placing a claim on a waived player. The source of the rumors as to who the Bills want to keep seems to be that the Bills left certain guys locker stalls in tact even after they were waived - so it would seem a logical assumption that, barring another team claiming them, that the Bills were intending to keep those players... The Bills were sorting out their practice squad on Saturday. It appears receiver Marcus Easley and Kamar Aiken, defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert, offensive lineman Mark Asper, and cornerback Isaiah Green will be on the squad. All had locker stalls after Saturday's walkthrough practice. Teams can keep eight players on the squad. "It may take a day or two," Gailey said. "There were some guys on some other teams that we were interested in, so it'll take a while to get them in here. But we don't practice until Monday, so I think we'll be OK." link And then, there's also this... (Chan Gailey on only keeping four wide receivers on the roster and if that will change) I think you have been around Buddy (Nix) and me long enough to know that nothing is ever set. We are always looking for different ways to improve our football team. I doubt what you see today will be what shows up next Sunday. GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  16. Apparently, not by David DeCastro...
  17. Did Mario really say "Golly" ??? (On another subject, has anyone tried the new MariO's cereal yet? Saw it for the first time yesteday at Tops.)
  18. Powell - a 6'4" 248-pound punter/kicker with a cannon of a leg (also handled placement holds at FSU) - would be a wise addition to the PS, with Moorman a 37 year-old free agent next season. Also, we have no developmental QB right now, and I really don't see Thigpen lasting beyond a few games - or Smith lasting beyond this season. We cut 10 players a week ago - I'd love to see Josh Nesbitt back on the PS, as a developmental QB, RB, safety, whatever (he plays multiple positions). There must have been something Gailey loved about the kid to recruit him at Georgia Tech (where he had an outstanding career as a versatile passing/hard-running QB), and then to sign Nesbitt here with the Bills as an undrafted FA. GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .
  19. I'm confused - WKBW-TV sports director Jeff Russo reported on-air during the 6 PM newscast that the "Tyler Thigpen Experiment is over, at least for now," and that Thigpen has been cut, mainly due to salary considerations. The Bills are on the hook for his entire $3.5M salary if he makes the final roster, are betting no one will pick him up, and therefore will be able to re-sign him down the road (for far less $$$) should something happen to Fitz or it becomes otherwise necessary (since, even though Thigpen sucks out loud, he's already familiar with the system). EDIT: I guess Russo was wrong. .
  20. Being that it is the Buffalo Snooze, they will probably just pick this off the AP wire... link
  21. I didn't even recognize him.
  22. I guessing you don't follow the game too closely, if you're asking that question Mallett seems to be doing just fine, and has plenty of time to develop (I doubt he's under any pressure to replace any time soon) Link -Ryan Mallett makes impact; Auspicious outing by apprentice QB (Boston Herald) Try watching him tonite against the Giants, and judge for yourself
  23. I'm a big fan of Leach and I think that the Cougars will raise a quite a few eyebrows this season, but we'll have to wait and see about Jeff Tuel. The thing you have to remember is that, because all of Leach's QBs have been atop the NCAA in passing and scoring, the rap is that any QB that you plug in to Leach's offensive "system" will automatically start breaking NCAA records. And, while that's been pretty much true, none of his Texas Tech QBs were drafted - and only Graham Harrell has lasted more than a season with an NFL team. (And Harrell had a phenomenal college career - 15,793 yards, 134 TDs, and a 69.8 completion % and 154.3 QB rating across 4 seasons and 45 games played.) So I'm having a tough time imagining that Tuel will be not only the first Leach QB drafted into the NFL, but that he'd be drafted on day 2. Even if Tuel sets the PAC-12 and NCAA on fire in his senior season, he'll still have to overcome his multiple-injury rap and Wazzu's miserable record under Paul Wulff. I'd bet that, no matter how great a 2012 season Tuel and Washingon State have, he will not be drafted until the fifth round or later - if he's drafted at all. (Which could be a good thing, if he should become of interest to the Bills!) But it should be an exciting season for Wazzu fans, starting tomorrow nite against BYU, and I'll be keeping a close eye on the Cougars, Teul, and of course... Mike Leach
  24. You thinK I just pull these scores outa my *** ???? 9 TDs 3 FGs 1 SFTY
