How about "The Washington Nubbers" and the giant-boob mascot thing? -
Great article ranking free agents..Rotoworld
The Senator replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. Assuming we re-sign Levitre, Bushrod should be easy to grab. We should also go after Dustin Keller so we can run some of those 2 TE formations that Lou Saban used to befuddle opposing defenses, and that made Jack Kemp such a potent weapon at QB... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -

Dunno, Pete - many said Steve Young sucked his first two years in the NFL (after two previous seasons in the USFL), so why don't we wait and see with Gabbert? -

Poll: Should the "Redskins" name be changed?
The Senator replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in Off the Wall Archives
. Do you mean as in "boobs" - Urban Dictionary - nubbers or as in... Urban Dictionary - nubbers or simply in baseball terms -a ball that is barely struck by the bat and simply trickles away from the plate (basically, an unintentional bunt)??? (I can see where the ladies might be upset at a giant boob for a team mascot ) . -

Chicago Polaks, Arizona Wetbacks, New York Kykes ...I don't care if they dress their mascot as an orthodox Jew and their motto is, "You want we should score again?" It's just sports. -

Poll: Should the "Redskins" name be changed?
The Senator replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in Off the Wall Archives
... I love the name - and am not sure how it's offensive and racially insensitive, as I don't see an overabundance of Native Amercian peoples in the DC/MD/VA region. It would be "racially insensitive" if we called The Windy City's football team "The Chicago Polaks", or a team from the way-upper west side of Manhattan "The Harlem Jigaboos". ( Actually, I have no problem with either of those - Who sez we gotta be sensitive, anyway??? ) GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
Neither Kiper nor McShay are correct vis-a-vis the Bills' pick - We will be taking USC's Matt Barkley with our 1st round pick... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! .

Who is the Greatest Buffalo Bills Team of All Time
The Senator replied to TheKickIsGood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. The 2013 Bills team will prove to be the best, but if there was a SB in Jan '65, Buffalo would have won - hands down - no questions asked - quod erat demonstratum - HIC FINIS EST... GO BILLSSS!!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!! -
Potential film on Bills comedy or tragedy?
The Senator replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm torn... I could play the sniveling-little-whiny-shlt local newpaper reporter who finds a big black lining in every silver cloud or I could go 'upbeat' and play the die-hard (literally) fan, hoping to see a Superbowl win in my lifetime... Which do ya think? GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
. I don't see how that's possible, since the Bills are goin'... 19 and 0 baby!!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!

Bills' Worst Draft Ever...Try and Top this one
The Senator replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How true...in fact, until the wall-to-wall TV coverage of the Bronco chase interrupted the NBA playoffs, I could almost stand OJ as an actor! For the record, I hope we draft another USC player this year... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -

Bills extend Toronto Series by 5 more years
The Senator replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For season tix holders, biggest bummer is that we continue to "eat" the 2 preseason games ourselves, while - for all Bills fans (AND the team's players) - ceding a home game to neutral ground in a foreign land. But, financially, the deal makes sense for the long-term viability of the franchise. And - as I stated when all this Toronto crap started - in case of future expansion, Ralph is a genius to have established Southern Ontario as Bills' territory. Any future Toronto team would still have to, IMHO, pay a hefty tithe to the Bills for us to cede our claim on that turf. JMO... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! . -
Buddy Nix and addressing the QB position
The Senator replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. Just wondering - which four franchise QBs that we had the opportunity to draft did Buddy pass up??? (Keeping in mind that one good year does NOT define a "franchise" QB, and one above-average year CERTAINLY does not.) GO BILLSSS!!!! -
Buddy Nix and addressing the QB position
The Senator replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. Yes, Bill... Walt Patulski was a bad pick as well. Gee, our old LaSalle ran great... (Why are we still bemoaning the Levy/Jauron era????) -
Buddy Nix and addressing the QB position
The Senator replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. What Nanker said. Plus, Buddy was busy building strong front lines on both sides of the ball. Plus we weren't in the best position to draft the best available QBs in Buddy's previous drafts. Plus, he was always waiting for Matt Barkley to graduate anyway! JMO... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
Pats: Bad winners, even worse losers
The Senator replied to Overseas Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. Ted Williams hit a home run that went about 35 rows past you... Link - The Red Seat Yeah, it's a gloriious shrine to baseball - no such thing as a bad Fenway experience, I think -
In Suh's case, NFL vice president of football operations Ray Anderson said... “It appeared to be a little out of the ordinary, let’s just say,” Anderson said Friday on the Dan Patrick Show, via ProFootballTalk.com. “It didn’t appear to be a natural football move, but we’ll withhold judgment until we see all the angles.” (link) So, from what angle did Marcia's attempt to kick like a girl look to be a "natural football move"???

The Senator replied to Overseas Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK, I'm wrong on all counts!!! Except, clearly what you call "seats in the outfield" are actually in the bleachers (they used to cost 6 bucks), where most of the BU troublemakers sit. (A good many of them are actually Yankees fans!) . -

The Senator replied to Overseas Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, that would be right field (Dwight Evans' turf, back when I lived there - 1st base was, of course, Bill Buckner). Obviously, you bought those seats on the street and they came from someone who couldn't make the game. I know that - back when I had season tix - it was tough dragging yourself to five games a week, no matter how much you love baseball or the Red Sox! Am suprised you were able to get seats so cheaply (a bleacher-seat costs more than that at the box office), but probably 'cause is was only May (very early in the season) - and also all the BU kids, who usually fill the cheap seats, were probably gone already.
