  1. I’m sure the draft will be filled with surprises, both pleasant and not so pleasant! It will be interesting to see who rises and who falls when the combine starts in 6 days. .
  2. Hopefully, these are the last few dimes Erie County will spend on this outdated and obsolete monstrosity. .
  3. I don’t know about being a bust after only one good year, but how ‘bout after only one good game... Rob Johnson (Unfortunately, that game was with the Jags.) .
  4. I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what the investigators have done. . Way beyond that, you’d have to be a f**king moron. And Julie Smallette fits that description. .
  5. And she made a speech in SC saying she’d beat Trump in 2020??? The only person that idiot is capable of beating is herself. .
  6. Now this one is more easily recognizable. Marc-Andre Hamelin is one of the finest pianists alive, but I do prefer Chopin’s own version to Godowsky’s much slower, more heavily textured adaptation Here it is, played wonderfully by Valentina Latitsa... You might also enjoy Moritz Moszkowki’s ‘15 Etudes de Virtuosite’... .
  7. I remember, from my own failed attempts, that the Chopin-Godowsky etudes are phenomenally difficult to play, but I must confess, I do not hear the original Copin etude this was intended to embellish! . EDIT : My bad - I just realized this is not a Chopin-Godowski etude, but a C.V. Alkan piece. Doesn’t really look or sound that difficult, as the left and right hands are doing the exact same thing, an octave apart. .
  8. Yes, of course they play outside - as long as there’s a parent or four to watch over them and protect them from all the perverts out there! .
  9. So is Brad Termini. .
  10. Enough, already - I don’t want to read, hear, or watch anything about Julie Smallette ever again. She’ll get all the attention she craves in Joliette. .
  11. Now I’m really confused. Which guy does everyone think is an idiot? Trump or Smallette? .
  12. Yes, I was thinking the same. This thread started out being about Julie Smallette - then, by the time I got back, had devolved into a left vs right, CNN vs FOX, anti-Trump diatribe. .
  13. Clearly, Rev. Al does not want another ‘Tawana Brawley’ situation on his rap sheet... https://dailycaller.com/2019/02/18/accountability-al-sharpton-flips-smollett/ .
  14. HAPPY NATAL ANNIVERSARY, you Cantankerous, obstreperous, persnickety young man, and many happy returns!!! ?? .
  15. What will The ME list as Cause of Death? .
  16. I suppose bull riders are a bit twisted, as are bull fighters. Recreational skydivers, wingsuiters, bungee jumpers, lion tamers, sword swallowers (real sword swallowers, not the Jussie Smollett kind), people who swim with sharks, really anyone who goes beyond the rational to tempt fate has a slightly skewed psychological makeup, IMO. Nick Walenda, definitely twisted. Again, JMO. .
  17. Sure...and, whenever an airline loses my luggage, I always let them know I had $10G in that suitcase! ? .
  18. I just wish, when the a-hole dropped the f-bomb on-air, that Robin Roberts had the stones to say, “I don’t believe a word of your f**king bullsh*t...no one does!” That would have been great. .
  19. I like what I’ve seen so far - the games are very entertaining, and they actually let the players hit each other! ( I’m not sure Brady would last a series ?) Plus, Polian is co-founder, and I take most things he doe seriously. .
  20. Anyway, getting back to Smallette, looks like the idiot got the 15 minutes of famed he pined for, and then some. He may be facing a felony conviction and 3 years in prison for filing a false report. Now, if he truly did not stage the entire thing, and all he had to do to prove his innocence was let the police check out his cell phone, why won’t he do that? What a freakin ‘ moron! Oh well, he got what he wanted - before his act of blatant stupidity, I never heard of him, now, everyone has. .
  21. Back when I was a gear head, we had drivers like Richard Petty, Buddy Baker, Junior Johnson, Dale Earnhardt, et al. The cars were fairly stock - by rule, they had to be. Plymouth even produced a limited number of Petty’s 426-HEMI powered Superbirds (the ones with the aerodynamic nose and huge rear wing) that you could order from a dealer, just to skirt the rules about the car being “stock”. I watched a bit of the Daytona 500 yesterday, and found myself asking, WTF is this Stage 1, Stage2, Stage3 stuff all about? Used to be, you got points for winning the race. Makes no sense to me. .
  22. I don’t see how anyone could argue that Hobert was not the worst, but the numbers seem to back Marangi... https://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/06/ranking-the-three-worst-qbs-in-buffalo-bills-history/ .
  23. On their ‘Big Board’, Draftek has Hockenson’s slightly taller teammate, Noah Fant, ranked #28 - the highest ranked TE. Hockenson is ranked #82, behind Fant, Irv Smith, Kaden Smith, and Josh Oliver. Based on that, I’m thinking he’ll be there for us in round 3, maybe even round 4. .
  24. Corn Flakes, with banana and fresh berries, and low fat almond milk. .
