    Total nonsense. It was NEVER ‘allowed’ at Stanford. Legal age has always been 21 in California. The fact that Chelsea was a teenaged alcoholic seems to have escaped you, just like her dad “never inhaled”. .

    This board can be so enlightening and entertaining. Most folks have so much wit and wisdom, I nearly fall off my chair. My take on the AB situation is so different - I don’t think Beane persued him at all. My take is that Colbert, desperate to unload AB and knowing we needed a WR, made a call to Brandon. JMO .

    I am a very weak person when it comes to ‘cellaring’ wine. I split a case of Silver Oak with a friend and went thru my 6 bottles in record time. If it was Screaming Eagle, I’d be just staring at it, wondering how long before I break down. .

    I enjoy French Onion, clam chowder, or a good crab or lobster bisque, but my absolute favorite is the fish chowder at Boston’s No Name restaurant on Fish Pier. The fish is so fresh it’s literally from boat to bowl. .

    When he’s in town, every Wednesday Guido Torpedo orders a steak & cheese from my regular hangout (he lives a couple buildings away from me). After the injury, his mom would pick up his order. Glad to hear he’s on the mend. .
