How serendipitous is this thread? Just so happens today is the 11th anniversary of Frank's passing. Once described by someone as "the man who's done everything....twice", FS was a true legend whose singing and acting career spanned from the 1930's to the 1990's, and who had top-selling hits in 7 straight decades. Looking forward to Scorcese's film.

If Texas Tech leads the nation in offense again after losing both Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree, I think you'll see some interest in Leach at least as an Offensive Coordinator. I'd love to see what he can do in the NFL - unfortunately, as has been posted elsewhere, if the Bills are looking for a new HC and/or OC next season, it means this season has gone awry (or a pumpernickel).

ego and $$$ issues between tony george and bernie ecclestone killed f1 in the US - be nice to see it return, but bernie seems to be demanding a small fortune for that to happen. myself, i'd love to see f1 return to watkins glen, but the sport has grown too rich and too glamorous, and neither the track nor the town's infrastructure could support a modern f1 event.

I'm familiar with most of that but, again, if only it were that easy - almost all the majors have stopped flying the big jets into Buffalo since the big spike in jet fuel prices last year. They consider BuffTown a 'feeder' route and have subcontracted the route to regional operators like Colgan. I try to stay on JetBLue these days - newer fleet, no regional operators. Last time I flew to Boston I opted for US Airways to save a few bucks and, sure enough, it was a 'commuter' jet. As for flying SouthWorst, I can't fly them if they don't fly where I'm going.
