  1. Great - we can now replace "QUOD ERAT DEMONSTRANDUM" with " 'Bucky' said so!"
  2. You jest, B2, but what of 61 y.o., 2-bottles-of-vodka-a-day fossil Ronnie Wood, and his 20 y.o. 'Lolita', Ekaterina Ivanova? link
  3. OK, OK, I have had the great misfortune of actually seeing The Flutie Brothers Band at 'Thursday At The Square' and I admit - Rob Johnson was better...
  4. Wow - 'Bucky's' opinion = proof??????
  5. Doug signed for peanuts Promised a fair chance to start "Never mind", said Wade.
  6. Can't say - I'm not familiar with their body of work. Was it Flutie's supposed 'divisiveness' that bothered them, or the declining play of a 40 year-old QB in the twilight of his career?
  7. I remember when I moved there - one of the first things I saw was the sign for Big Al's strip club at the corner of Columbus & Broadway, as seen in the opening of... The Streets of San Francisco
  8. The Streets of San Francisco won't be the same without you... RIP Mike Stone, er, I mean Fr. Corrigan, um, I mean Karl Malden.
  9. Yeah, I noticed that - might be because he always ends up losing his helmet. Check out some of the other fight videos - particularly the one where Brad May kicks his ass... Still, with this signing and the draft, it looks like maybe the Sabres are trying the shed their 'bunch of complacent pussies' reputation?
  10. Well, the guy's not afraid to 'throw'...
  11. see article below... link "Bucky" is an idiot.
  12. And you know this, because..... ? Not exactly - I said that apparently most of the NFL front office-types were apparently completely 'in the dark' regarding the greatness that was so obvious to a handful of TSW posters. "His inability to stay with any team for more than a cup or two of coffee" seems a bit hyperbolic, and one could argue that his playing in 3 professional football leagues over a 21-year career accounts for that. 1985 New Jersey Generals 1986 Chicago Bears 1987 Chicago Bears 1987 New England Patriots 1988 New England Patriots 1989 New England Patriots 1990 British Columbia Lions 1991 British Columbia Lions 1992 Calgary Stampeders 1993 Calgary Stampeders 1994 Calgary Stampeders 1995 Calgary Stampeders 1996 Toronto Argonauts 1997 Toronto Argonauts 1998 Buffalo Bills 1999 Buffalo Bills 2000 Buffalo Bills 2001 San Diego Chargers 2002 San Diego Chargers 2003 San Diego Chargers 2004 San Diego Chargers 2005 New England Patriots * Pro Bowl selection (1998) * 1984 Heisman Trophy * 1984 Walter Camp Award * 1984 Davey O'Brien Award * 1984 Maxwell Award * 1984 UPI Player of the Year * 1998 NFL Comeback Player of the Year * 3× Grey Cup champion * 3× Grey Cup MVP (1992, 1996, 1997) * 6× CFL's Most Outstanding Player (1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997) * 1983 Liberty Bowl MVP Yeah, he sucked.
  13. See this movie - It will answer all your questions - including how to navigate the cafeteria food line.
  14. Sunworks Solar - plans to build a plant to manufacture solar panels... link
  15. I stand by my statement. 'Bucky' is an idiot of the highest order, surpassed - possibly - by only Jerry Sullivan, and Mike Schopp. BTW, I'm not the only one who thinks this... link link2
  16. Ummm...we're talking about an article by a grown man who calls himself "Bucky" and - in his own Walter-Mitty-like mind - fantasizes that he would be a better GM than Darcy Regier. In other words, you can pretty much dismiss anything the idiot says.
  17. Actually, I think it's because the rest of the NFL coaches, GMs, and scouts are not privy to the knowledge that FatStupidLazyLardAss is the bestest, greatest LT alive - that fact is only known by a select few posters here on TSW who, quite selfishly, have chosen not to share it with every other front office in the league.
  18. Actually it does - at least according to the folks at Yahoo that are in charge of choosing the site. They have been in discussions/negotiations for the past few months, and have stated that the cool climate is among the criteria in the site selection.... "Yahoo designed its forthcoming data center to let outside air cool the servers at all times, borrowing the idea from the design of a chicken coop, according to Yahoo co-founder David Filo." link "Yahoo! Is not thwarted by Buffalo’s renowned winters and cold lake effect winds, In fact they are very interested in incorporating the regions cold weather conditions into their architectural and engineering layout and the development of their site. As stated by a representative Scott Noteboom of Yahoo! at a Lockport Town Planning Board Meeting on June 17th, “Our challenge here is a little more on the cold side, these buildings are designed to breathe, and we’re running the cooling system on outside air.” Stating the region’s cool lake winds aids in their ability to decrease resources to cool the Data Center by utilization of the already cold wind patterns of the area. Buffalo’s weather conditions thus aid to decrease the overall costs of running their Data Center." link
  19. TWO, actually.
  20. Like everyone, I want the Bills to win big this season, but I can't help thinking we'd be better off with - and more entertained by - a coach like... Mike Leach
  21. "...the languishing stink of your continual frying."
  22. The Dean & I are just joshin' - besides, he knows I'm right!
  23. maybe you could coax your janitor friend into cleaning them up a bit?
