Just heard LoTempio on the 6 o'clock news - said there was no robbery - the Kanes didn't try to take any of Radecki's money - there was a 'fare dispute', the kids were locked in the back of the cab, and then there was some 'wrestling' inside the cab... Those are LoTempio's (Radecki's attorney) words. Sounds like a helluva 'beatdown', hey Dean? Carry on, you Kane crucifiers.....

My point, apparently more obtuse than I thought, is that no one knows if the guy even was beaten - freakin guy's a recidivist drunk and a liar, and may well have bruised his face falling in the gutter. The grand jury met today to consider the evidence against Kane - why don't we just wait to see whether they indict him, before we convict him?

Radecki’s license was revoked in December 1998 after he failed to submit to a chemical test and in April 1999 for driving while intoxicated and violating the terms of his conditional license.... His first license was issued to “John” Radecki at an address on Liddell Street in Buffalo. On the second license, however, Radecki changed the spelling of his first name to “Jan” and used an address in Silver Creek in Chautauqua County. He also changed his height from 5-foot-11 to 5-foot-10 and had a corrective lenses restriction removed.... The move also leaves 62-year-old Jan Radecki of Buffalo facing the possibility of a felony charge, Chautauqua County District Attorney David W. Foley told The News on Wednesday. Patrick Kane will be fully acquitted, with all charges being dropped. No money will change hands, other than Paul Cambria's fee. Charges against James Kane also likely dropped, in exchange for the Kanes not pursuing civil action against Radecki. Mr. Radecki, OTOH, finds himself in a world of schitt - not only will he have to pay Andrew LoTempio's generous fees, may have to pay damages to the Kanes, and now finds himself in yet a whole new mess - I do believe it is illegal in NYS to hold multiple NYS drivers licenses under different names, yes? Likewise with falsifying your address for insurance purposes (known as 'insurance fraud').

I'm pretty sure no one's ever accused this guy of being smart - which is probably why LoTempio's trying to downplay the whole incident.
