I'll tell ya, one of the most annoying things was when my seats were lower bowl row 3, and the guys in row 1 would stand during the game. For what? Who the f&kc are they trying to see over?

There is a job for Maybin, and the team would love to have him in camp. I get your point - it's not the same as a player already under contract holding out, i.e., Peters last season, but that's just semantics. If I refuse to sign a contract because I want more $$$$, am I not 'holding out' for more money? Anyway, I didn't expect any more news on this before tonite's game - I do expect Maybin will sign next week and see action next Saturday against Green Bay.

Actually, Maybin may see more preseason action than Peters... Two Eagles starters were injured in a 27-25 preseason loss to the New England Patriots, with both coming in areas where the team is especially thin. But since tackle Jason Peters' quadriceps sprain and tight end Brent Celek's separated shoulder came just moments before it was announced the Eagles had signed Vick, the ill-timed injuries became secondary. The Eagles were already thin along the offensive line, but Peters' latest setback has four of the five projected starters out of the lineup. link This opinion now seems amazingly prescient regarding the Eagles' entire FatBoy fiasco...
