  1. I realize last nite was awful, but I'll wait until the season starts before I concede that it's already over.
  2. 5:1 is outrageous. The only QB I know of with a 5:1 TD:INT ratio is Graham Harrell (45 TDs, 9 INTs in 2008) - but then, he had the benefit of having a Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator by the name of... Mike Leach
  3. "You'll have to excuse my pitiful performance tonite. I suck."
  4. It's quite possible that Edwards is the 3rd best QB on this team.
  5. Then come back and thump your chest after it starts. What'd you say about the preseason?
  6. Trent looked the way he looked because he is Trent. Guy's a 3-year veteran/starting QB - if this is how he plays in warm weather, I don't want to even think about him playing in Orchard Park against Bundchen* in December and Manning in January. Possibly, he had visions of Dakota Fanning in the new Twilight movie running thru his head all night.
  7. I would love to see this staff turn things around, More than anything, football-wise, I want the Bills to have a great season. Unfortunately, if last evening's performance was any indication of this team's ability - especially having an extra week over every other NFL team to prepare, we are in for a rough ride, and Kelly is a harbinger of change - hopefully in the form of... Mike Leach
  8. He was visibly irritated, but by what? The full-body rash? Scratching your nose is not 'calling-out the guys' - if it is, OMFG we're in for a long season, and Jauron's face will look like a meth-addict's by mid-October. Saying, in no uncertain terms, that "Trent SUCKED tonite - he looked like he had Dakota Fanning on his mind the whole time he was out there. Luckily Ryan Fitzpatrick has picked up the offense quickly and gets better every week. If Trent can't get the job done, we're lucky to have Ryan waiting in the wings," - that's calling someone out. I still can't believe these freakin' idiots didn't bring Graham Harrell in for a free look.
  9. WOW WEE WOW WEE WOW WOW, WEO - didn't realize that you had such a crush on Tedy*. Is Tommie Bundchen* jealous? You should look on this as a good thing - now that Tedy* won't be spending his Sundays in Fagsboro*, you two will have all that time together to 'let it all hang out' at... Herring Cove!
  10. "As you know, the shin bone's connected to the knee bone..."
  11. schooooooooooooooooooooooooooopppppppppppppppp < garbage
  12. OK - back to Blues... I think the first version of this I ever heard was Willie Dixon, but I always liked Dr. John's version on this obscure album my brother had... Wang Dang Doodle But there's no one quite like the inimitable, legendary Koko Tayor... Wang Dang Doodle
  13. Interesting schitt - and I do mean schitt. You obviously know something about music, as you've taken us back to its most primitive form - rhythm. No melody, no harmony - just rhythm. Kind of like the first time savages beat a hollow log in a primitive ritual, then progressed as far as to kill an animal and stretch it's hyde across said hollow log and beat it with a stick, inventing the drum. Eventually, they discovered that they could take a sinew from that same dead animal, stretch it across two limbs, or a hollow log, and pluck it. Soon they discovered that you could divide that string into octaves, then scales, then...well...eventually...music. Keep listening to that schitt, though. Eventually, you'll break the code too. Well, probably not you - but your descendants will, a few thousand years from now.
  14. Still Thursday for me too, until I wake up and it's Friday.... Howlin' Wolf
  15. Looks like I'm about 10 minutes late - couldn't find the 1985 Honeydrippers live version from SNL w/Robert Plant, Paul Shaffer, et al... Good Rockin' at Midnight
  16. Not playing??? Freakin' bum didn't even make the trip... Eagles OT Jason Peters aggravated his lingering quad injury in the team's first preseason game on Thursday night. Not great news for the team, who thought the quad injury he suffered last month was minor. Expect the team to limit his playing time the rest of camp.
  17. Oops. You're right. Eh, so what? LukeWarmPisswater's just another adolescent queer Cheatriettes* troll, who can't think of anything else to do but hang out here when it's raining out at Herring Cove.
  18. Geez that's interesting as all hell, Pisswater! That's almost as good as the Bills who - over a similar 7-season period - went 53-11 at Ralph Wilson Stadium. (Hint - get back to us when that schithole in Fagsboro is older than 7 years.) Oh, and the Bills are also undefeated in playoff games at RWS since it opened in 1973. Don't they have a Boys Club in Provincetown for you and your queer friends?
  19. Alternatively, right across the street is... The Essex Street Pub (No reservations required.)
  20. It's true - I have a picture... picture
  21. Is THIS the Jason Peters bashing thread? I hear they're not real high on him in Philadelphia either.
  22. JW was indeed at camp - I have a picture... picture
  23. This is true - in other parts of the city, they walk each other on leashes... Folsom Street
  24. You are, apparently, woefully misinformed.... Patrick Kane's attorney said on Tuesday that the Chicago Blackhawks star did not assault or rob the cab driver who claimed he was attacked early Sunday in Buffalo, N.Y. Paul Cambria, speaking on "The Waddle and Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000, said Kane, 20, and his cousin James, 21, were trapped inside the car when cab driver Jan Radecki, 62, wouldn't unlock the doors. "[Patrick Kane is] devastated that anybody would accuse him of a crime," Cambria said. "He's not that sort of person. "He wanted nothing to do with the cab driver in any way, shape or form. He simply wanted to get out of the cab. It's been revealed today that the cab driver admitted he locked these two guys in the car and wouldn't permit the one guy to stand up and simply reach for his wallet. There's more and more being developed about this." The Kanes are facing felony robbery and misdemeanor counts of theft and criminal mischief. Patrick Kane has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a court hearing Monday in Buffalo. "[Radecki] said he wasn't going to let the one fellow out to get his wallet," Cambria said during the radio interview. "He said that in an interview that I heard. "Apparently he said that's his MO. Anytime he takes young people, college kids or whatever, any place at night he locks them in the cab until he pays. His lawyer said this morning in an interview I heard that in the past many of his passengers have become upset because they're angry that they're being trapped in a car and not being trusted to stand up and get their money out." Cambria was asked if Kane did anything wrong or anything he regretted. "He regrets that he was there, obviously, who wouldn't?" Cambria said on "The Waddle and Silvy Show." "On the other hand, did he do anything wrong? Did he violate the law? Everything we have demonstrates no, and he emphatically said, 'No.' I have absolutely no reason to disbelieve him and every reason to believe him." Cambria was asked on the show if Kane touched Radecki. "He did not assault the cab driver. He did not rob the cab driver. He did not cheat him out of his fee. None of those things. He tried to get out of a locked cab," Cambria said. And, BTW, the cab driver IS INDEED a recividist drunk-driver, who was operating without a valid drivers license, and refused to give the Kane boys their change when they requested it... State revokes new license of Kane cabbie
