  1. I'll assume everyone knows that Marv was here this week as part of the Bills' "All Time Greatest Team" festivities that took place at halftime yesterday.
  2. Jason Peters was hungry too - take a look... link
  3. No question - no one said it more succinctly than Ryan Parker... link
  4. I'm reaching here, but wasn't there a play - I think it was in the 4th quarter - where Roscoe had advanced the ball beyond the first down marker, then, in trying to gain more yardage, ran back and got tackled behind behind that line to bring up a 3rd (???) down? I like the guy, but he does stuff like that too often, IMHO.
  5. Wow...he and Ko Simpson should get together for a chat. I wonder if he drives a BMW?
  6. What's that wooooshing sound I hear? Oh, that's it...just something flying way over Steely's head....again.
  7. Listen carefully, you freakin' idiot... If you knew WTF you were taking about, you'd know that - as just about everyone involved in this fine forum will attest - what I post about more than anything or anyone else is... Mike Leach
  8. See 'freak - it worked! I knew one or more of 'em* would bite.
  9. Calm down, 'freak - just baiting the patsies* trolls, who are no doubt in a state of panic. Besides, this thread is really is about the inevitable return to normalcy - the Bills ascent to top of the AFC East, and the cheatriettes* descent to the AFC cellar! Even they* know, but for McKelvin's late-game brain-sprain, the Bills outplayed 'em*... Belichick is a proponent of the “you are what you are” school of football reality and where his team stands is one bonehead play by Leodis McKelvin from being 0-2 going into Sunday’s match with the undefeated Atlanta Falcons. Link - BOSTON HERALD - Troubling developments I'm sure the cheatriettes* fans* would rather their* ersatz star qb* schitt-the-bed in the pre-season, rather than in a crucial division game like he* did yesterday.... On the day, Brady was 23-of-47 for 216 yards. He threw one interception. His longest completion went for 29 yards. He was not sacked, but was pressured or hit on nearly every throw. Something you rarely see is Brady taking a delay-of-game penalty. He had four yesterday, including getting flagged twice in a row. Link - BOSTON HERALD - No hope in sight I intend to enjoy every second of their* misery. GO BILLSSS!!!! REVERSE THE CURSE!!!!!
  10. uh, yeah....i know. (please peruse my pacer post on previous page)
  11. WTF's a "kneedown attempt"? We talkin' motorcycles here? Idiot.
  12. Whenever I hear Sam Cooke's 'Wonderful World', it's virtually impossible not to think of this scene from Animal House...
  13. Remember The VW Thing?
  14. Instead of a pissing contest over FJ v. ML, we should revel in yesterday's win, and in the fact that we have 2 elite running backs - after we see Lynch run behind this O-line, I have a feeling everyone's gonna love both of 'em. GO BILLSSS!!!! REVERSE THE CURSE!!!!!
  15. If he* keeps playing like he* did yesterday, Gisele's gonna dump him*! (I have a feeling Gisele doesn't like hanging with losers)
  16. Tommie Bündchen* was a dismal 23/47 (48%) for 216 yards, 0 TDs, and a pick against New Jersey yesterday, compiling a whopping 53 QB rating and leading one to wonder - has the Cheatriettes* descent to the AFC-East cellar that so many of us predicted already begun? Then we learn that Gisele Bündchen's NYC town house is on the market... Maybe it lacks a nursery? Is Tommie* maybe contemplating becoming Mr.* Mom*???? (After yesterday, maybe he should!) Has Gisele commanded him* to lay down the cleats, and life in the fast lane, in favor of a quiet suburban existence in Swampscott? Poor Patsies* fans* have to be shuddering the thought - they'll* have to go back to rooting for the Giants! GO BILLSSS!!!! REVERSE THE CURSE!!!!!
  17. That's a nice problem to have (2 great RBs), especially when it's 85-90 degrees in Miami, as it will probably be when we play them in 2 weeks - imagine having a fresh back all game long while their 300+ lb. D-lineman wilt in the heat trying to stop our no-huddle.
  18. uh, yeah....i know. ( but i like the beatles' song better anyway. )
  19. Prediction: we win next week, and all of BuffTown will be wearing sunglasses at night. GO BILLSSS!!!! REVERSE THE CURSE!!!!!
  20. Yeah HOLY CRAP - he's got better #'s than Tom Brady*!!!! ( Hey Russ - when Bill Belicheat* calls, don't answer that phone!)
  21. actually, that statement is pretty laughable - 1st - it doesn't really matter who starts but I'll bet it'll be FJ, as Lynch will not have practiced with the team for 3 weeks. 2nd - it doesn't really matter who starts, but average temp in Miami early Oct. is mid-to-hi 80s - 330 lb. D-linemen (and RBs) can be worn down pretty quickly in that heat, so I expect BOTH FJ & ML will see lots of action, but more likely the Bills will use that game to ease ML back into the lineup.
  22. All I know is, I wear sunglasses at night too. I like this Jauron guy. He's no... Mike Leach ...but I like him - at least this week.
  23. Play 'em both - 330 lb. defensive linemen get tired in a hurry, especially when you run a fast-paced no-huddle offense. At, least, that's what one coach would do... A coach cannot change the shape of the football field, but he can change its effective size. And if he can alter the environment, even slightly, he alters the environment's system of rewards and punishments. He can put 330-pound defensive linemen on the fast track to obsolescence and turn a pass-catching tailback into the holder of N.C.A.A. records. He can take a quarterback whose greatest assets are his moxie and his ability to see the field quickly and efficiently and make him the most prolific passer in the nation. Mike leach Having 2 great RBs both getting lots of touches can only tired out opposing D-lines and open up the passing game for Trentative.
  24. Yes, clearly there's a new hoodie in town, but the shades....don't forget the shades.... BILLSSS RULE...... CHEATRIETTES* ROT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. "You Know My Name" is a great, if not obscure, classic - I never knew it was used in a Bond movie... "You Know My Name"
