  1. Nobody says muther-!@#$-er quite like Marv.
  2. Playing his first NFL game on November 27, 2005 against the Houston Texans, Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced an injured Jamie Martin in the second quarter and lead the St. Louis Rams from a 24-3 halftime deficit to a 33-27 overtime win, throwing for 310 yards and three touchdowns. This made Fitzpatrick one of only five players who passed for 300 yards in their NFL debut. The others were Otto Graham, 346 yards (1950); Ed Rubbert, 334 (a replacement player for the Washington Redskins during the 1987 strike); Mark Rypien, 303 (1988), and Peyton Manning, 302 (1998). link Edwards will take us nowhere - give Fitz a shot. The only problem now is, how does Dick explain the injury 'Trenters' is about to incur in tomorrow's practice?
  3. That's actually what I was thinking - well, a 3% margin, anyway. Especially when I cast 35-40 no-votes in a 10-minute period this morning - more than enough to sway the poll by 1% - and he remained steady at 3%.
  4. The fans ran Peters out of town??? You think it's the fans fault that Peters left? That he wanted to be in Buffalo, but the fans drove poor Jason away? Did we hurt his feelings? You can't be freaking serious. Are you?
  5. Langston Brandon Walker (born September 3, 1979 in Oakland, California) is an American football offensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at California. Walker last played for the Buffalo Bills, and was reportedly the biggest man in the NFL. link Methinks Walker's next stop is the WWF.
  6. Yes - Happy Birthday, Dick. Now go !@#$ yourself.
  7. how 'bout the fans who didn't want edwards to be the qb, and wanted peters to honor his contract? can we still be fans?
  8. that would mean there were at least 120 yes-votes today - that didn't happen, unless 'trenters' keyboard is burning up.
  9. hilarity why is it the penultimate? what's the ultimate?
  10. Given the volume of calls he's getting from other teams, I don't think our calls have gotten thru.
  11. As far as I know, you are correct - I think the state/county have pretty much 'foot-the-bill' for any/all stadium improvements. Debt could be lots of things, but 14% would come to almost $130M - Ralph's Gulfstream, maybe?
  12. When season-ticket renewals fall to 22,000, Ralph pays attention - at 54,000, he couldn't care less what we think.
  13. I have no problem at all with Bill Cowher - so long as his OC is... Mike Leach
  14. That's actually pretty much the same as my first option, Lori. What I'd like to see is a breakdown - actually #'s of yes-votes vs. no-votes - then we can calculate the percentages ourselves. Me thinks ESPN will not allow Jauron to fall below 3% approval, knowing full-well that - adequately inspired - we could drive him down to zero!
  15. Especially if the Eagles' $60 Million FatBoy keeps getting penalized for false starts and once again leads the league in sacks-allowed.
  16. I just voted 35 times. Strangely, at several points, the total # of votes went down by 20-30 votes. Clearly the result is somehow being manipulated, as - with less than 3000 total votes - 35 votes should have effected a 1% change. Either something is rotten in the state of Denmark, or 'Trenters' has eschewed surfing all the Dakota Fanning sites on his day off, to support his favorite coach.
  17. Question - do you think it's more than just the QB?
  18. I was roundly chastised when I called for this before the Miami game.
  19. There are 2 other QBs on the bench, just aching to get in the game - it's the freakin' coach.
  20. So 30 no-votes should effect a 1% change, no? OK, I'm gonna vote 'no' 30 times right now - but I'm tellin' ya, they're wearing out their keyboards at OBD this morning!
  21. You'll do this all day & night, wont' you?!!! I'll give ya this, when it comes to defending the indefensible, you're truly indefatigable.
  22. Interestingly, I poo-poo'd Bills Fan 34's questioning whether the Bills FO reads these boards, but there's no other explanation how Jauron's approval #'s have stayed at 3% after 2000 more votes have been cast - the Bills FO must be flooding the 'ballot box' faster than we can!
  23. How utterly predictable - but if that were true, you'd be responding to your own posts.
  24. I'm tellin' ya - Bozo The Clown outfits. The Buffalo Bozos They're the right colors, and it's October - so you can use them on Halloween.
