So let me get this straight - you're professing Polian's brilliance, yes? And it was Polian who hired Levy , yes? (One of his very first moves after being promoted to Bills' GM.) Maybe hiring good coaches has something to do with Polian's success? All you idiots who ignorantly refuse to recognize NFL Hall-of-Famer Marv Levy's coaching achievements are...well...idiots. Try listening to what his HOF players say about the man, before you shoot your collective stupid mouths off.

If you're willing to be flexible about the new hire ...

Good news from Ed Kilgore
The Senator replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jeremey... PLEASE... RWS is NOT a 'money-grubbing' anything - if he was, this city would have lost its NFL team decades ago. The stupid freaking morons that don't comprehend that fact are so oblivious that it's smackin' them on the head with their bottle of Jack-Daniels. Trust me - the Bills' next HC will be... Mike Leach -
Why the fixation with hiring a big-name coach?
The Senator replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
(fixed) and that HC's name is... Mike Leach -
Myself, I think Jim Kelly and Kent Hull are just waiting at OBD to beat the crap outa the a-hole.

TG - NyQuil is obviously on NyQuil regarding the University OF Buffalo's history - founded by its first Chancellor, former East Aurora native and 13th US president Millard Fillmore... University OF Buffalo ...a private institution, long before it was usurped by SUNY. Now, please help me - how do I get Ralph to realize his last great stroke of genius is... Mike Leach -

Interestingly enough, when the USFL died it's slow death, Jim Kelly ended up under contract to Trump. Now Kelly talks of an ownership group with the financial wherewithal to purchase the Bills, and I can't help wondering whether that group includes Trump - who is a personal friend of... Ralph/Russ - guy's got no buyout, makes less than you paid that fool Jauron, and Louisville's about to make a play for 'im - WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!!! Besides being an outstanding coach, a brilliant mind, and an offensive genius, Mike Leach is a marketeer's dream!!!! -
Guess which former NFL coach sold their house today?
The Senator replied to bluenews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cut the effin' crap, will ya? If it's not total BS about that being Shanahan's house to begin with - and I'm pretty sure it's total BS (yeah sure Shanahan had a $17M manse), it's about time someone closed on that house, particularly since it went on the market way before Shanahan was fired. Truth is, Shanahan's living in Chi-Town, is an Oak Park, IL native, and is most likely waiting to be re-united with Jay Cutler when Da Bearsss HC job opens up this winter. -

Yeah, and this is not Texas Tech HC... Mike Leach I know this must be a frantic day, TG, so let me help out... Ralph/Russ - if you don't make this guy the next Bills' HC, you're not only retarded, you've blown your best opportunity to turn the Bills' offense around 180 degrees and make this team the most talked about and most entertaining franchise in the NFL. -
Okung, Clausen, and Suh Are Still On The Board
The Senator replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's 3 years in-a-row that FatBoy 'didn't feel he could go' when his team sure coulda used the lazy POS. Will this guy EVER feel like playing a full season or giving his best effort again, now that he's got the big fat contract he dreamed of? I think not. I'm just glad it's the Eagles that are stuck with the bum and his $60M+ contract, not the Bills. Trading Peters was a GREAT move - not drafting Michael Oher when we had the chance was the stupid part. -
Okung, Clausen, and Suh Are Still On The Board
The Senator replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The big question with Bradford is going to be how he recovers from the shoulder surgery. That's a big question mark, plus he's coming out as a junior - but he'd be hard to pass up if he's healthy. He's big and tough, his dad's a football coach (like Graham Harrell's) which I really like, it gets freezing cold and wicked windy in Oklahoma City - so we know he can play in weather, plus I don't see any red flags or Dakota Fanning fixations with the kid, and he seems pretty likable... Sam Bradford Goes Airborne Been a long long time since we've had a QB that looks like this kid - since about 1996, I think. Wonder if we can grab him along with.. Mike Leach (before Leach heads to Louisville) -
Okung, Clausen, and Suh Are Still On The Board
The Senator replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You call him a 'budding star' - I call him a washed-up POS... Nov 16 LT Jason Peters didn't play Sunday because he still had some swelling in his sprained ankle. "He didn't feel comfortable in the pregame workout with it," coach Andy Reid said. "He didn't feel that he could go." Nov 15 Peters (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against San Diego. Recommendation: As a result, guard Todd Herremans will slide over and start at left tackle. Meanwhile, Nick Cole will start at left guard, and Stacy Andrews will start at right guard. link Best $60M Russ Brandon ever saved. -

How can you pass on Clausen? He might be the next Brady Quinn! No question at all - if he's there, you take Okung. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
The Senator replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK then - 5 things we can certainly agree on as incontrovertible facts: 1) Fannning-Fan Edwards sucks; 2) Jauron is a freaking idiot; 3) The Bills need an NFL-caliber starting QB; 4) The Bills need a new HC and front office overhaul; 5) You will drag former Bill JP Losman's name into every thread regarding Edwards' total suckitude. GO BILLSSS!!!! REVERSE THE CURSE!!!!! -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
The Senator replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We're not at odds, Bill - I just wish you didn't feel the need to drag former Buffalo Bill JP Losman into almost every thread about Trent Edwards total suckitude. Fact is, Lee Evans would rather have Losman still chuckin' the ball, and I bet TO would too. Your argument is that Edwards has a bad o-line and crappy coaching. Wow, that sounds strangely familiar. Our common ground is that we both agree Jauron's too freakin' stupid to realize Losman was the better QB and that - as long as Jauron is still HC - there is no long term solution to the QB problem. -
Bud Adams flies the double bird at Bills
The Senator replied to timstep's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"I do realize that those types of things shouldn't happen," Adams said in a statement. "I need to specifically apologize to the Bills, their fans, our fans and the NFL. I obviously have a great deal of respect for Ralph Wilson and the history we have shared. I also understand there will probably be league discipline for my actions and I will accept those." He already said he'd accept the consequences, so going back on his word would kinda make him an 'Indian-giver', no? -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
The Senator replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bill - WTF does JP Losman have anything to do with how bad Trent Edwards SUCKS OUT LOUD???? Please justify your obsession with the JP hatred, and your need to bring him into every discussion about Fanning-Fan's total suckitude. -
Tempting, but I'll just be happy with my Nirvana!

Good year to draft a QB near the top anyway
The Senator replied to fairfaxbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Question: if it takes Tebow 4 seasons to do what Walker did in 3, can you really say Tebow broke HW's record? I know I'm splitting hairs, but I never considered that Eric Dickerson broke OJ's single-season rushing record of 2003 yards, because OJ did it in 14 games to Dickerson's 16. Anyway, they'll love Tebow in Jacksonville - at least until he starts his first NFL game. -
I think TO has met his match in Trent
The Senator replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK - suppposin'...just supposin' you're an NFL football player...big bruising O-line guy...modern-day gladiator...monster of the midway and all that crap.... You wanna go out for a beer with a glove-wearing Mary whose favorite actress is Dakota Fanning? What's Trent drinkin' - Shirley Temples? This ain't exactly Jim Kelly we're talking about - you're not gonna see Trentie breaking anyone's legs after they pick him off.
