  1. There's a lot of really odd stuff in that profile. For example - One moment in history I wish I could have seen: "Amelia Earhart's transatlantic flight." (Where exactly would you watch that from? ) And have you checked out his buddy's (and roommate) profile? Matt Traverso (nickname - 'Princess', describes himself as "charismatic & fashionable", admits he has waxed his body) I wonder if Trenters and his 'buddy' watched his favorite TV program together? Bobby's World The more I dig, the stranger this guy seems.
  2. Did you just call me a weasel? Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (The one and only. )
  3. I don't understand the question - you're saying Jim Carey is gay? I thought he was doin' Jenny McCarthy. If you asked me, way back when I was 23, who may favorite actress is, I might have said Geena Davis, Raquel Welch, Andie Macdowell, Sigourney Weaver, Farah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, or any number of hotties close to my age or older, but I wouldn't have picked, say, Christina Applegate, Winona Ryder, or Brooke Shields! Sorry, but I still think it's very odd. I think Edwards is very odd. Besides sucking out loud as a QB. JMO.
  4. Really? That's odd. How does an 11-year-old child actress from Conyers, Georgia befriend an entire family 2000 miles away in Los Gatos, CA that has nothing to do with the film industry? Nice try, dog.
  5. OK, so here's Edwards profile from the Stanford web site... Meet Trent Edwards Forget the faggy nickname ("Trenters"), or that he's from Los Gatos (just about 30 miles down Rt. 101 from Boys Town), and scan down to the 'Favorite Actress' section. Now, the site references the 2005 season, so lets assume it was posted in 2006, when 'Trenters' was 23 years old, and Dakota Fanning was 11. I just find it very bizarre that a 23 year-old PAC 10 quarterback's favorite actress is an 11-year-old girl. No?
  6. Point taken - and I know he was quite impressive in Europe, and also showed occasional flashes of promise in the big league, at least in pre-season action. I'm just sayin' that he was already looked at by 5 different NFL teams, and finally ended up as the Bills 3rd-stringer before being cut to make room for Brohm. Five teams (plus Europe) in 6 years. Guy will be 29 in February. I think his chance has come and gone. JMO.
  7. "Run Run Rudolph" - Keith Richards
  8. Hamdan's been with the Redskins, Seattle, 49ers, Seattle again, Miami, and NFL Europe before the Bills, so I think he's pretty much had his chance to impress, no? Guy got cut 5 weeks ago to make room for Brohm - only reason he's back is 'cause he knows the playbook and we lost 2 QBs in one game. 'The Chroise' is done.
  9. Eureka!!!! So that's the formula... folks who despise lousy, ineffective, wimpy, fragile QBs = sorry excuses for fans Conversely... folks who adore frightened, injury prone, noodle armed losers = good fans Thanks for setting us straight! Edwards has played one complete season (2005) without injury since high school. Get a clue, ferchrissakes - the guy's made out of porcelain. Guy was a wuss and a total Jauron suck-ass.
  10. Er....um....he's already done more than hold a clipboard - he's seen game action, and will possibly start one or both or the last 2 games... Fassel: Losman Can Thrive With Raiders Meanwhile, Dakota Fanning is swearing out a restraining order as China Doll Edwards approaches retirement...
  11. Brohm's a pretty bright guy, scored a 32 on the Wonderlic, and probably has a better handle on the playbook than Fewell. Unless Fewell is a complete retard and starts a guy he cut five weeks ago to make room for Brohm, Brohm gets the nod.
  12. Wholeheartedly agree, and if Bradford's shoulder is OK, his arm is more than adequate. Like I said, I like Bradford a lot - but man, a first round pick? When we need an LT, RT, DT, DE, and OLB? Now if he falls to the 2nd round...
  13. Lest ye forget, Kelly finished his USFL career with the NJ Generals, owned by Donald Trump - The Donald would have no problems raising a quick $$billion$$ or two, and he also happens to be very good friends with... Mike Leach (link - Donald Trump Scolds Miami President For Hiring Randy Shannon And Ignoring Mike Leach) Yes, everything is slowly falling into place...
  14. That made me chuckle. I'm still chuckling.
  15. Yeah, I was there for all of 'em - as I remember, in '97, the upper deck was covered with tarpaulins, no one even came in 'til Blues Traveler finished, and the bridge to Babylon malfunctioned. I can see why you're disillusioned, but I hope you'll reconsider.
  16. I can vouch for this myself, categorically. Many discussions have indeed already occurred, on multiple occasions, amongst many parties, regarding many topics, and something is imminent, although exactly what that is remains, at this time, uncertain. But it is exciting. These are exciting times.
  17. Your right - I suppose only Perry Fool would start a guy ahead of Brohm that he cut 5 weeks ago to make room for Brohm.
  18. No I didn't miss it at all - I just deemed it irrelevant. Again, some times 31 other teams miss something about a player every now and then. Only time, and a good look at Brohm, will tell if Guy has outsmarted anyone. I'm thinking maybe he has.
  19. I like Bradford a lot, but that's a tough call - you're talking 1st-round QB money, which probably means a lengthy negotiation/holdout, on an injured underclassman when the Bills have so many other needs. QBs are such a crapshoot - I wanted the Bills to take Leinart when he fell so far in 2006, and now I'm glad we didn't. (And he was healthy!)
  20. Here's a link for ya... How bout our QB? Looks like we got a new starting QB this Sunday, eh?
  21. Conversely, how can he be deemed 'a bust' - a washed-up piece of crap that no one else wanted - if "we and the rest of the NFL world know nothing" of what he can do?
  22. Looks to me like he's on an active roster this season, taking snaps in games and possibly even looking to start a game or two. Didn't even miss a full season. So much for metaphysical certitude, I guess.
  23. Meanwhile, for you unwavering Trentites who insisted with metaphysical certitude that JP Losman's NFL career is over... JP Losman Signs One Year Deal With Oakland Raiders
