  1. Kent "Flounder" Dorfman: I can't believe I threw up in front of The Dean Donald "Boon" Schoenstein: Face it, Kent, you threw up on The Dean...
  2. It is true - The Dean and Pampero Firpo... Separated at Birth As for myself, I've been told that Michael J. Fox bears a resemblance, but I think it would take someone with the acting chops of a Sean Penn or Johnny Depp to capture the true essence of Senatorius Maximus Then again, Robin Williams or Bill Murray would also be good choices.
  3. Not so sure the Bills 'ignored' Skleton - they had him in for a visit and I thought they were interested and liked the kid but, after the suprising Spiller pick amd then addressing their 3-4 defense needs in rounds 2 and 3, it took them 'til round 5 to finally draft an OT (Ed Wang) and by round 6 Skelton was gone. Maybe they should have taken him in round 4 instead of Easley, but I think they still had (and have) some hope for Brian Brohm. Bills Draft Profile - John Skelton
  4. Actually, I think the reason we didn't see Brohm Friday nite is that he already has the #1 spot locked up, with Brown at #2. The real battle is between Fitz and Fanning-Fan to see which one gets cut - which will, of course, be Edwards. JMO.
  5. Actually, a post-wedding-rehearsal party - the wedding was to be today at 2 PM, but the groom is one of the deceased (just flew in from Texas yesterday) so I guess the wedding's off. Wonder if it had anything with the Bills performance, or if it was a jealous former boyfriend crashing the party, or just your average, normal family-feud stuff?
  6. I'll say it again - on Sept. 12, the QB 'pecking-order' will be Brian Brohm - Starting QB Bad Bad Levi Brown - #2 QB Ryan Fitzpatrick - Clipboard Trent Edwards - President, Dakota Fanning Fan Club - Los Gatos Chapter
  7. Say what you will about Losman, but he was very good at drawinging the opposition offsides with his snap-count. Fannning-Fan, not so much. I really can't think of anything Trentie's very good at, other than sucking-up to Dick Jauron.
  8. another showing like last nite, and ralph may be calling on marv again...
  9. What a difference 40 years (or so) make, eh? then now
  10. Nothing pissed me off more than seeing Fanning-Fan at mid-field, post-game, smiling and laughing it up with his Redskins buddies after his own God-awful performance on the field and a piss-poor showing by the entire Bills organization, top-to-bottom. Trentie-Boy should have been fuming, but no, there he was smilin', cacklin', huggin' his homies and yuckin' it up like it didn't matter at all that he and the Bills looked ten times worse than where they left off last season. I can't wait 'til the Bills off this friggin' POS loser.
  11. HAPPY NATAL ANNIVERSARY!!!!! May the Bills give you a victory on your 40th! Cheers
  12. Since folks seem to have no problem with the Redskins, the Braves, or the Indians, I always wondered how people would react to, say, the 'Harlem Jigaboos', 'Chicago Polaks', 'Brooklyn Kykes', 'San Francisco Slopes', or 'Arizona Wetbacks' Myself, I refer the the Washington NFL team as The Politically Incorrect Nicknamed DC-Area Native Americans Possessing Excessive Pheomelanin GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  13. I'd suggest a simple merlot - perhaps a '98 Petrus Pomerol.
  14. BINGO!!!!! Give the man a cheroot!!!!! (Sorry to send you scrambling for your dictionary, but glad you took the time to look it up!) For the learning-impaired, this may further clarify... http://www.thefreedictionary.com/specious spe·cious (spshs) adj. 1. Having the ring of truth or plausibility but actually fallacious: a specious argument. 2. Deceptively attractive. specious [ˈspiːʃəs] adj 1. apparently correct or true, but actually wrong or false 2. deceptively attractive in appearance Your position is both specious AND spurious, and I'm an idiot for continuing this argument with an ignorant child.
  15. Oh, are those the criteria you've decided upon to best support your specious position? You're just making yourself look dumber by the moment
  16. I see. You mean like former Hy Vee grocery store bag boy and future HOF QB Kurt Warner. Let me see if I follow your logic... Michael Vick is not a starting QB on any NFL roster. Therefore, he is not good enough to be a starting NFL QB on any NFL team because, quite obviously, no one wants him as the starting QB on their roster - otherwise he'd be starting for someone. The former #1 overall pick and convicted criminal is now only good enough to 'warm the pine' and hopefully get some garbage-time reps as a backup. Got it. (I was wrong - 10-year-olds form much more sound arguments than you!)
  17. If Leach has yet to coach in the pros, how is it that 'it's been proven' that he can't????
  18. I see. (I always thought that the person whose argument seems really really stupid has the weaker argument!) Then, by your logic, Vick > Joe Paterno Vick > Steve Spurrier Vick > Nick Saban Vick > Urban Meyer Vick > Jim Tressel Vick > Mack Brown Vick > Bob Stoops Vick > Bobby Bowden Vick > Bo Schembechler Vick > Woody Hayes Vick > Knute Rockne Vick > Ara Parseghian Vick > Glen Scobey 'Pop' Warner and yes... Vick > Bear Bryant That is, of course, only if you are stupidly narrow-minded enough to feel that being an NFL roster is the only true yardstick by which to measure success, even if you're a former #1 overall pick who now 'warms the pine'. Then, in fact, by your logic... Tim Toone ('Mr. Irrelevant 2010') > Leach etc., etc., etc. You do know that you're an idiot, right?
  19. Wanker-Punk Clausen looked better than anyone on our team? Seriously?? Did you get a good look at him??? Clausen
  20. Jack Kemp was a 17th round pick. Daryle Lamonica (whose 78.4 winning percentage is 2nd all-time in the NFL to Otto Graham) was a 24th round pick.
  21. 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  22. Yes, but not John Stewart
  23. Great logic! What are you, 10 years old? (There are 1696 players in the NFL - by your reasoning, that makes 1696 players > Leach ) Vick > Leach??? Well I dunno - Leach doesn't torture helpless animals, isn't a convicted felon, and - to the best of my knowledge - has spent no time in federal prison. In fact, Leach has a bachelors in history, a masters in coaching, a J.D. in law, and is the 'winning-est' coach in Texas Tech history. 'Ron Mexico' is a convicted criminal, a drug user, an animal abuser, a spreader of STDs, and is one false step from never setting foot on an NFL gridiron again. As far as Vick already being in the NFL (forget the fact that the feckless thug has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel ), who says Leach even wants to be in the NFL?
  24. Uh, yeah...that's why I said...
