  1. Just a hunch, you'll see Wood moved to center when Brohm plays QB... After redshirting his initial year at Louisville, Wood started all 12 games at center for the Cardinals in 2005. He earned Freshman All-American honors by Rivals.com, Sporting News and College Football News. Also an excellent student, earned Academic All-Big East accolades as well. Wood remained Louisville's starting center in his sophomore and junior seasons, starting all 13 and 12 games, respectively. Led by quarterback Brian Brohm, the 2007 Cardinals offense ranked sixth nationally with an average of 488.0 yards per game. Wood earned All-Big East honors in both years, and again in his senior season. He finished his career with 49 consecutive starts at center, the second-longest streak in school history behind Travis Leffew (51, 2002-05). (from Wiki)
  2. The Bills pass rush should improve with the return of Poz and the debut of Carrington at DE and Moats at OLB - our ball-hawk d-backs should have a field day. I put the over/under on Dirty Snachez INTs at 5 (based on his performance against us in week 6 last season)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jKeLrygAvc ...and I'll take the over Bills 44 Jests 3 I'm using 'throwback blue' this week guys... GO YOU NEW YORK STATE BUFFALO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!! And let's not forget the other big, BIG game this weekend... "To build a school on Kenmore Avenue, is to build no school at all." - Rev. James Van Dyke, S.J. GO CRUSADERS!!!! Kick St. Joe's ass!!!!!
  3. Here ya go... The NFL Team Jobs Board (Doesn't look like the Bills have any GM or Scout openings, but they are looking for ushers.)
  4. fixed. Broken f'in record, dude. Read it all before, multiple times, and if that's your reasoning for saying Brohm sucks without ever seeing him as a legitimate starter in more than one NFL game, you're a moron.
  5. Yeah, that's why you're not a GM or scout. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Belicheat* takes Mallett with Oakland's 1st round pick and either develops him behind Brady as *NE's QB of the future, or trades him to a team-in-need for a boatload of draft picks.
  6. I haven't figured out why you'd take Fitz over Peyton Manning, Sam Bradford, John Elway - but I'm sure you have your reasons. Brohm, we don't know about - guy's had one NFL start, on last season's injury-riddled Bills team, after being with them just over a month - so we need to see more of him this season, before the draft. The Bills are not finishing 30th, 31st, or last so they were never going to draft in the #1,2, or 3 spot anyway, unless they trade up. If Mallett falls to somewhere around the 8-10 spot (I doubt he will), maybe the Bills will be in that position (I doubt that, too) - but if Brohm looks decent and Mallett's already gone, they should be looking at Gabe Carimi (The real bonanza would be if Mallett fell all the way to the Bills pick in round one, and then Carimi in round 2.)
  7. Yep, that's his logic. Kurt Warner was cut by the Pack too, so he can't be any good either.
  8. I thought Brohm had one start on an injury-riddled team that he'd been with for about a month. Didn't know there was 3 years of film on Brohm as a starting QB. Where'd you get it?
  9. Cut his ass. Run 'im outa town. How dare he say such a thing?
  10. And Bob Giza would probably LOVE to have it, too - he'll let ya build just about anything in the Town of Lancaster. Give 'im a call - he'd love to talk about it... Robert H. Giza
  11. Actually, these are the Mothers of Invention... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swgWNM_4eNk
  12. Wow - forgot that one, great stuff. I understand that Curtis, despite having a 'Borscht-Belt' accent, did a dead-on impersonation of Cary Granite! The Boston Herald described him as 'impossibly handsome' and, as you'd expect, the LA Time had a nice obit... Tony Curtis dies at 85; actor was star of 'Some Like It Hot' and 'Sweet Smell of Success'
  13. Curtis starred in such classics as 1959's 'Some Like it Hot' with the great Jack Lemmon and the lovely Marilyn Monroe and gave an outstanding performance as Albert DeSalvo in 1968's 'The Boston Strangler' - and let's not forget that, with wife Janet Leigh, also gave us his daughter and Hollywood 'scream queen' Jamie Lee Curtis. A Hollywood legend has passed. Tony Curtis, Hollywood Leading Man, Dies at 85
  14. Why??? The Jets already played Baltimore
  15. Yeah and if you reply to an automated response, who get's it anyway?
  16. Oh Jimmy's real, alright. He's not going to appreciate your description of typical Jets fans, either - I'd lay low if I were you.
  17. You already have everything you need, except a copy of 'Manifold Destiny' - since you probably can't get one by Sunday, The Senator will help you... You can preview here - Google Books - Manifold Destiny If that looks useful, you can obtain the 'Kindle' version here - Manifold Destiny - Kindle Version (Amazon) And you can download free software to read any 'Kindle' books on your PC - Kindle for PC That's really 'the bible' for cooking on your engine, but if you don't want to go thru all the downloading stuff, you might find some ideas here - Manifold-ish destiny i.e. cooking in your car or here - Cooking an Environmentally Friendly Meal on Your Car Engine Good luck, and... GO BILLSSS!!!! Cheers
  18. They're BOTH New Jersey teams - the Buffalo Bills are the only NFL franchise that plays its home games in New York State. Truth be told, most G'ints fans are from New York and most Jests fans from Joisey - goes back to the old NFL/AFL days when the Giants played at the Polo Grounds and Yankee Stadium, and were all sold out to moneyed New Yorkers. You couldn't lay your hands on a ticket. Then came the new AFL, the Jets, and an opportunity for New Jerseyites (they prefer to be called 'New Jerseyans', which is why most New Yorkers call them New Jerseyites) to snatch up cheap tickets to the new league. Just a little useless historical minutia. GO YOU NEW YORK STATE BUFFALO BILLSSS!!!!
  19. I know. I was just messin' with ya.
  20. Here in the BuffTown, Mulligan's Brick Bar on Allen Street used to serve cases of 24 OV Splits over the bar - you'd pay for the case (back when I was in H.S. and college, it had to be about 6 bucks), the bartender would pop it open, sprinkle ice over the inside, open all 24 bottles, and hand you your case of splits to carry back to the pool table, or wherever. I think The Dean may have started this site - if we all do our part, we can bring them back... Bring Back the OV Split
  21. Huh? Trent sucks because Josh Reed is not on the team anymore?? Didn't Trent still suck when Josh Reed was on the team??? I don't get it...
  22. Ooh baby - we're back at The Ralph, second start for Fitz, wearing the throwbacks, and Poz is playing... Buffalo Bills- 44 New Jersey Jests - 3 16 and 3, it'll be!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  23. Looks like it's a slow nite in Newark, NJ and Spags has stocked up on Meisterbrau. For anyone who's never seen Jimmy, he's kind of a monosyllabic guy and wears #42...
  24. Erin Andrews is 5'10" - Mallett really has no room to grow...
  25. Now you're talkin' - add a road course and get F1 kingpin Bernie Ecclestone to stage the 'BuffTown Grand Prix' (Monaco, shmonico!). Tony George can be bought, too, but Indy cars already run at The Glen and in Toronto so it'd take Paladino-type money to get them to move here See? You'd have been all set with a stadium there, because around 11 pm is about when folks would finally break thru the traffic jam after a 1 pm game, and would just be hitting the village center!
