  1. I dunno, Jay - bowling isn't as easy as it looks. Jason Peters thought he could be a Pro Bowler, and look at him now. (In fact, one of the reasons Orapko looks so great may be that he goes up against Fat Boy twice a season!) Gotta agree with you there, Refuse Reaper. What's done is done. As they say, "You can't 'un-ring' a bell." But the front office of old is gone, or going, as Nix methodically rebuilds this thing. Maybin was Jauron's choice - the rest of the 2009 draft may not be so bad either (Wood, Byrd, Levitre, Nelson) and we can probably credit Nix for that, since he rejoined the Bills as Nat'l Scout in January before the 2009 draft. So enough with all the Celine Dion fans out there...
  2. 15 and 5 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! ReVerse the Curse!!!!!
  3. Nice rant. Guess all 32 teams' management are idiots... NFL Transactions - Oct. 19, 2010 (Well, all but Tampa Bay & KC, who had that big blockbuster trade involving DE Alex Magee and a couple of undisclosed draft picks.) You are aware that, to make a trade, you need a willing partner - and someone they want - yes?
  4. 'Buzz Beer'??? I think it's been done... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJU97Ugve8Q
  5. Anyone else see Fanning Fan's post-game presser??? Fast-Fwd by dragging the 'play' bar to the 2:20 mark... Same Ol' Trent God, I'm so glad he's gone.
  6. There are only two words you need to know... Mike Leach
  7. A true 'Senator-ite' would be clamoring for Graham Harrell! But I suspect the Luck fans are equally passionate, and will keep calling for Buddy to pick him right until the day Luck states what those of us with rational minds already know - that he's staying at Stanford another year to finish his degree and play out his Junior year of football eligibility. (Then they'll piss & moan the entire off-season that he only did that because he didn't want to play in Buffalo )
  8. There are some on TSW so incredibly prescient that they can actually judge a QB 'bust' without ever having to see him play, but simply by how other coaches and teams handled him within the constraints of their own unique team situation!
  9. Smart girl, that Olivia - BTW, she's from Brockport.
  10. Plus, they would block access to the stadium and burn a huge tire-fire on the 50-yard-line every time they get in a pissing contest with the state over tax receipts!
  11. Well I no longer drink beer, and wings are out too - ever since I had 2 stents placed in my chest - but I do remember what those farts smelled like and, yeah, WGR 550 does smell like that!
  12. Well personally I'd avoid drafting Potts - his play and development have gone way downhill now that Leach no longer runs the program!
  13. TrINT! TrINT! He's our man! If he can't do it, Let's draft another schmo from Stanford!
  14. Personally, I stopped going there years ago - neither the dial on my car radio, nor anything else I own, goes that far left! (Although I do admit that, like an addict, I do occasionally 'take a whiff' just to see if it still smells as bad as I remember.)
  15. OMFG....he looked really reaeaealllllly good on that one pass....very decisive....very confident....OMFG, trent's great now that he's got protection....not at all like the trent we saw here....OMFG why did the Bills ever get rid of him??? signed, the official TSW 'let's draft (you fill-in the blank) cuz i saw him play well on tv once' committee
  16. I'm not gonna say, "I told you so!" Honest. I'm not.
  17. suspect the guy mentioning it is nothing more than a glorified 'uber-blogger' - doubt there's anything to it at all. Well yeah, you're right - but 1) The Bills apparently have a proclivity for terrible deals - we just traded a #12 overall pick Pro Bowl RB for a future 4th round pick; 2) Has Evans been particularly productive this season (ranked 89th) - or last (ranked 64th)? That said, Rogers seems to be of the Jason Peters ilk - fat, lazy, overpaid, and perpetually injured - and it would be an absolute brain-sprain on the Bills part.
  18. There's some columnist bloke in Cleveland suggesting that Shaun Rogers is being shopped around and may be offered to Buffalo for Lee Evans, but I think he's just dreaming in print - we'll know soon enough.
  19. Done - with 1:35 to spare. Tougher than I thought.
  20. You're fired! (Never underestimate The Donald - if it came down to that being the road block, I'm pretty sure Trump would be happy to dump his casino business - which was on the brink of bankruptcy for the 3rd time last year with $1.74B in debt.)
  21. I'd be happy to, but I do charge for that - and no more than 2 items please.
  22. Well, it's pretty obvious that the OP (and maybe even a couple blokes who 'bumped' the thread) wanted a response from me - and you know how I hate to disappoint! Anyway, yeah your right - Mallett's backup looked fantastic. Tyler Wilson is also a red-shirt sophomore who's thrown the ball 95 times in 8 games - 4 of them losses. (That just needs to be said that before some TSW idiot shouts, "Git 'er done Buddy!" based on the 40 minutes Wilson was the Razorbacks' QB last Saturday. ) BTW, the award - which I've never heard of - had nothing to do with the foto selection; I was just looking for one with some attractive quim. I could just have easily just posted the one of Mallett and Erin Andrews...
  23. Actually, what you read was 'Ryan Mallett Likes His Balls Su- '...oh, never mind. Mallett's 2009 National Performer of the Year Trophy
