  1. Sherrod's small, but he's slow. I'll stick with the big kid (also slightly faster) from Wisconsin - Gabe Carimi - who handled Big 10 DE's Ryan Kerrigan, Carmeron Heyward, Adrian Clayborn, etc., with ease.
  2. If we take anything positive - anything at all - from the Fanning-Fan fiasco, it should be what the business world has known forever... Never, EVER hire a Stanford guy to do a Harvard guy's job!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! Ryan Fitzpatrick - Superbowl XLVI MVP .
  3. On February 5, 2012, as we gather at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium to watch MVP Ryan Fitzpatrick and our BuffTown Bills win Superbowl 46, we will look back at this 2010 season fondly as the beginning of the latest Buffalo Bills football dynasty... GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!! .
  4. That's his shtick. You should know that by now, and the fact that you guys are quoting whiney-ass-punk's column means you actually read his crap. I try to avoid even looking at the Buffalo Snooze sports page these days, for fear that the ugly rendering of stupid's likeness right above his column will make me puke. 6 and 10 baby!!! A great GO BILLSSS Monday to all!!!! Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!!!!! .
  5. You're absolutely right, Dan. The Bills played hard - and well - in Foxboro, right to the end. They were never out of it until the final gun sounded, and certainly were not embarrassed. If anything, the Cheatriettes* - having underestimated the Bills - were the ones embarrassed, knowing they* were fortunate to get the win at home.
  6. " To build a school on Kenmore Avenue, is to build no school at all. " - Rev. James Van Dyke, S.J. I do wonder at times if Criqui - being from WNY - goes out of his way to seem impartial, or if he's truly awful. GO BILLSSS!!!! Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!!!!!
  7. That's exactly why the Bills drafted him... After redshirting his initial year at Louisville, Wood started all 12 games at center for the Cardinals in 2005...Wood remained Louisville's starting center in his sophomore and junior seasons, starting all 13 and 12 games, respectively. Led by quarterback Brian Brohm, the 2007 Cardinals offense ranked sixth nationally with an average of 488.0 yards per game. Wood earned All-Big East honors in both years, and again in his senior season. He finished his career with 49 consecutive starts at center, the second-longest streak in school history behind Travis Leffew (51, 2002-05). Alongside Alex Mack, Wood was considered one of the best centers available in the 2009 NFL Draft. He has been compared to Brad Meester by The Sporting News, but his instincts and "nastiness" on the field had scouts comparing him to the NFL's old time centers like Mike Webster of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tim Grunhard of the Kansas City Chiefs. Kudos to the Bills front office for the trade, and for using the draft pick well.
  8. I'm already on record, SJ - I say let's commit to losing right thru 2015 so we can draft the real next Jim Kelly... Chad Kelly Making HOF Uncle Jim Proud Kelly puts on show at The Ralph Let's see...he'll red-shirt this Fall and, if he plays all 4 eligible years, will be in the 2016 draft...think of how GREAT we'll be with all the #1-overall picks we'll have stock-piled from 4 consecutive 0-16 seasons! 0 and 64 baby!!! Losing is for our own good!!!!
  9. These 'Lose-for-Luck' threads are really getting ridiculous. He's not coming out this April anyway - and even if he did, one of the half dozen or more teams that will be drafting ahead of Buffalo would roll the dice on him before Buddy would even have the chance to pass him over for a more proven and experienced NFL prospect. .
  10. Yeah they do, but I think they covet Ryan Mallett much more than Ponder (which is just fine with me).
  11. Hope this doesn't just move right across Lake Erie and kick-in the whole ' lake-effect ' thing
  12. It's more like a giant, inflatable bounce-house - the air literally blows you out the doors as you exit. Even in balmy Buffalo, folks with those old slate roofs all have heating systems to melt the snow - don't know why they can't rig up something to melt it or otherwise keep it from accumulating on the Twinkie Dome.
  13. That was my first thought - the Gophers certainly aren't using it. Alternatively, the Chiefs are in sunny San Diego - maybe the Giants can just sit tight in Kansas City, and they can play the game at Arrowhead. Well, that would certainly guarantee a home-field advantage for the Vikings! .
  14. Used to travel there a couple of times a month in the early '90s - don't remember huge amounts of snow that often, just freakin' nasty, stinging coldness. Went to a Red Sox/Twinkies game at the dome - the place is like a giant bounce house, all held up by air. You literally get blown out the doors as you leave - seems like a silly way to construct a domed stadium. You'd think maybe some heating elements might in the roof might be considered for the occasional snow storm, but that's JMO.
  15. In the Battle of Lake Erie, 2010, The Senator predicts... BuffTown 36 Cleveland 0 6 and 10 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!!!!! .
  16. I see the Bills drafting somewhere in the #8 to #10 range, taking Wisconsin LT Gabe Carimi in round one. JMO. (DraftTek doesn't play the games, players do.) .
  17. You live in ' Giants' Country ', so I'm sure you know that not everyone shares your opinion of Eli... The Official Eli Manning Sucks Blog The New Eli Manning Sucks Blog (He may be a Super Bowl MVP, but so was Larry Brown! )
  18. I wouldn't even take Newton in round 4. If the Bills want a late-round QB, they should think about Wisconsin senior and Johnny Unitas Award winner Scott Tolzien in round 6 - experienced in running a ' pro-style ' offense (whatever that is, these days), high-character, accurate, and just wins. Plus, for those who have never experienced Wisconsin winters, it's colder there than it is here in the BuffTown! I really can't understand why more people don't love this guy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9DLIk_2JK4 Watch him in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. .
  19. I think we can all see the blatant antisemitism in your remarks.
  20. Believe it or not, it was actually rumored that *Brady's Hair* (now there's a screen name for ya, __'s Arm) was the impetus for the Randy Moss trade... According to Charley Casserly of CBS, Randy Moss and Tom Brady had to be separated in the locker room recently after getting into a heated argument. The real impetus for the Patriots' surprising willingness to deal Moss? Brady reportedly told Moss to cut his beard, at which point Moss told Brady to cut his hair because he looks like a girl. If the story is true, it's hard to blame Moss for telling Brady to essentially mind his own business. The Pats had no choice but to side with their franchise QB, though, to keep peace in the locker room. link Also... Randy Moss & Tom Brady’s Hair Altercation
  21. Well, it gets a little cold in Arkansas and parts of the SEC, but much colder in Madison WI and the Big 10 - I'd take Scott Tolzien in the 6th round... 2010 JOHNNY UNITAS GOLDEN ARM AWARD WINNER
  22. Everyone here is so helpful - what we have here is a sort of TSW Benevolent Society
  23. I think you wrote too much - about 6 words too much. So you're illiterate - I wouldn't be posting that on line. GREAT STUFF, R2, as always - but why do we have to wait all week for ' your meaningless opinion ' this season? (You used to opine right after the final gun, next day at the latest!)
  24. You are saying Meyer's an erection with a man attached? I never read anything about that, but I don't follow the Gators so wouldn't have dug for it. Surprising that he'd be that kind of guy - he's got such a lovely daughter... Nikki Meyer
