Heyward had a great game - was a huge factor in pressuring Mallett - but I hope Nix & Gailey will find some way to draft the Wisconsin LT that earlier this season emasculated Heyward, rendering him a complete non-entity (one recorded tackle for a loss, never touched Wisconsin QB Scott Tolzien) as the Badgers bullied the Buckeyes 31-18, scoring 3 rushing TDs. (That guy would be Wisconsin LT Gabe Carimi) .

Anyone seen this mock prediction?

Especially tongue-in-cheek mocks drafts containing ridiculous, totally fictitious trades and written by TBD/TSW members and/or rabid Bills fans, seemingly just to mess with the minds of Andrew Luck fans! -
You know, you have a valid point. I should have posted Harris' second interception of Luck that game - the one he threw with only 2 minutes left in the game, with Stanford driving for a comeback TD and subsequent onside kick, full of momentum, last chance to come back and win/remain undefeated/vie for #1 and a national title, etc., etc.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W_mFyVOag8 That one was a much better example of ' anti-clutch ' - thanks for correcting my oversight.

A fine rebuttal and a fine post, UnSaintly One! I have no problem eschewing all QBs in this draft - there'll be a Darron Thomas in 2012 (or 2013) or some other draft darling, like there is every year. Fitzpatrick still has another year on his contract, and no rookie - Luck, Mallett, Newton, Gabbert, etc. - is going to come in and take the starting QB job away from Fitz (nor should they). OTOH - if Mallett declares, and if Nix drafts him, I'm also more than OK with Mallett as our QB of the future. Like Luck, Mallett is a rare talent - and I'm not sure another year at Arkansas under Petrino will help his development more than spending a year or two under the tutelage of Gailey & Fitzpatrick. I just find it amusing that the majority of TSW members who were hoping so hard for Andrew Luck (also a fine QB with a stellar future in the NFL) seem to have such a distaste for Mallett - to the point of holding him solely responsible for yesterday's loss (and, apparently, every pinpoint-accurate pass he threw that was dropped anyway) - while overlooking any and all errant passes and decisions by St. Andrew! As always, JMO... GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!

Well then, I guess you could say the same thing about Luck, if you watched him play against Oregon... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlpuXzS6tQ4 That one pretty much blew any chance Stanford had to win that game, to go undefeated, and to win a national championship. I'd definitely call that " anti-clutch ", no? Just say no to Luck, I guess - right? .

Alright, so which one of you knuckleheads is Daniel Goodwin ??? About Daniel What up? My name is Daniel and I have lived in Arizona my entire life.I am a huge Buffalo Bills fan, thanks to my Dad...I also like the Phoenix Suns,Arizona Diamondbacks,Arizona Wildcats....and there is a place in my heart for the good old Arizona Cardinals (a long as they are not playing Buffalo) (Good one, Dan!) -

Logic would dictate that, after losing all those games, the Bills would be nearly invincible But I was hoping we could do it a little faster - if we lose the next 80 games (that's only 5 years), this kid will have completed a red-shirt season and 4 years of eligibility... Chad Kelly Making HOF Uncle Jim Proud That way, some of our other #1 overall picks would still be playing. If follow your plan and lose the next 320 games, we'll be pretty damned good but also a lot of those #1 picks will be retired by the time Andy Jr. takes his first snap. -

Wouldn't we be better off to just lose the next 48 games and have 3 #1-overall picks? The only way we'll ever get better is to lose every game!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! Improving our lot with each and every loss!!!!! -

Don't discount the power of TSW - when these guys show up on Andy's doorstep with their petitions, a bucket of wings, pictures of Buffalo in Winter, and the 0-16 record they yearned for, how's he gonna be able to turn us down? -

Yes...God save us if we draft Mallett and he ends up going to the Pro Bowl 4 times and winning 2 AFC title games -

Think of it this way - when Luck doesn't declare, you can root the the Bills to go 0-16 next season, because... The only way we'll ever get better is to lose every game!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! Improving our lot with each and every loss!!!!! -

Well, now that that's all settled, we can always try to work out a trade for last year's TSW draft-darling Jimmy ' The Emu ' Clausen... (Clausen is the one on the right) -

Ok....let me ask this.....if Luck declares

That's an interesting concept (and one that I'm sure will have more than a few supporters on TSW) - let's trade Evans, Parrish, Nelson, Wood, Bell, and all of our draft picks. We won't have an o-line or anyone to throw to - but hey, we'll have that ' elite-level QB ' (Of course, he'll be anything BUT elite laying on his back, with no receivers, as he's carted off the field on a stretcher.) -

Assuming both Mallet and Newton declare (and I think they both will), I think they'll go in the order you named them - Mallett, Newton, then Locker. JMO. -

You are, or course, correct - and I won't be at all upset if the Bills eschew picking a QB in this draft (Mallett may not declare this year either, though he seems to be leaning toward coming out) and use all their early-round picks on linemen and LBs. There's a new draft-darling QB every season, and next year will be no different. -

and, I assume, hope like hell Wilfork doesn't put his helmet to Luck's knee and end his career. Moot point anyway, since Luck's staying st Stanford. Take Mallett at #3, and use the rest of the picks wisely to strengthen both lines. -
