Wow...hate much? Fixed your mistake for ya. And don't get too worried about GH's psyche or his NFL future, which is sure to be long and bright - especially for a kid that some morons claimed would never make an NFL roster... "I've learned a lot; I've grown a lot. Hopefully I can continue to improve and learn from Aaron and from the guys here, and maybe when I get my shot, I can perform well." If the Packers win the title without Harrell playing a single snap this season, he said he still will wear his Super Bowl ring proudly. It may never be any better than this. "A guy like Donald Driver has been in the league for 12 years and is experiencing this for the first time, and I come in on the first year," Harrell said. "It's almost spoiling me. I'm thinking this is how it's supposed to be every year. It would be nice if it was like this every year, but it's an unbelievable thing that's happened, and to experience it my first year, it's been awesome. And I think probably looking back in 10 years or so I'll appreciate it even more." Link - Harrell giddy over Super Bowl appearance ) .

Good luck, Mr. Gorsky.. -
I'm going with Green Bay, because for the past two years I was resoundingly mocked here for predicting that Graham Harrell would soon be wearing a Superbowl ring, and because I have an overwhelming desire to laugh at his detractors!

He's Tongan, but... Sione Fua (pronounced see-OH-nay FOO-ah) DraftSeason: What do you feel you do on the field that you don’t get enough credit for? Sione Fua: Having the ability to dominate games by controlling the line of scrimmage, closing up gaps and getting penetration; even if I don't make that many tackles. DraftSeason: Do you see yourself as more of an unsung hero in the middle, clearing up space for others to make the big play? Sione Fua: No, I play team defense. I make the plays I am supposed to make, and do my job the rest of the time which allows other people to make plays. The people who really know football know the true value of a great nose tackle. DraftSeason: What has been greatest moment on the field during your career at Stanford? Sione Fua: Having a dominating performance in the Orange bowl against Va Tech DraftSeason: What are you looking forward to showcasing to NFL teams in the coming months? Sione Fua: My versatility. I want to show them that i can play multiple positions in any defensive scheme: NT or DT in a 4-Sione Fua: 3, NT or DE in a 3-4. I believe i have the skill set and physical attributes to play all of these positions. DraftSeason: Finally Sione, which current NFL player are you most looking forward to getting your hands on? Sione Fua: Any offensive player that has the ball in his hands. .

Then draft him as an ILB/FB/Special Teams ace... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnzmNUcLG2M Personally, I'd love to see Marecic in Bills Blue. JMO. Link - The Perfect Player

What should we do for the QB position?
The Senator replied to The Buffalo Irishman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes I'm thinking round 3, and I also like the new draft format - some have opined that it will help the Bills to have the time to regroup before that crucial 2nd day and that crucial #34-overall pick. IMO, the extra time to regroup yet again before day 3 and the Bills' two round-4 picks is also a HUGE plus. Link - Bills well versed on Ponder The Bills coaching staff has had the chance all week to get to know the 52 players on the South team roster, but there was one guy they didn’t have to do quite as much homework on. That’s because Florida State’s Christian Ponder is someone Chan Gailey and offensive coordinator Curtis Modkins have known since the quarterback was in high school...“I recruited Christian out of high school so I’ve known him for a long time,” said Gailey...“We had a prior relationship,” admitted Ponder. ”When he was the coach at Georgia Tech they recruited me pretty hard and they were probably my second choice next to Florida State. I actually had a good relationship with Coach Modkins. He was the guy that recruited me personally. It’s good to work with them finally and it’s a pretty unique situation.” -

I think that's the right way to go, and also think Nix will do just that. Wouldn't be totally shocked if they still took Mallett, but he's probably a bit of a ' reach ' at #3 overall - I'm now expecting they'll take Ponder on day 2. . -

Ah, I see the ' Draft Luck ' lunacy has begun anew - and before we've even completed this upcoming draft and season. (Wonder how long it'll take for the ' Saint Andrew Club ' to throw him on the scrap pile when Stanford sucks this season?) And so it goes -
Salud! THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF WINE

Has it been 30 days already? Tempus fugit. No wine, beer, or booze for a month - and I feel totally cleansed.

The ' spread ' has been the predominant offensive scheme of the NFL's more successful teams for some time now - I'd say Bills are already about 2 years behind the curve, but good to know that Chan realizes that irrefutable truth. I'm still puzzled as to why the Bills didn't sign one of the most effective QBs ever at operating out of ' the spread ' ... Graham Harrell ...when they had multiple opportunities to do so. Now, as I also predicted 2 years ago, Harrell is about to be wearing a Superbowl ring. Wouldn't be at all surprised now if the Bills grabbed Christian Ponder on day 2 of the draft, after seeing and working with him all week.

Northworst Airlines Club, Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, waiting with a client to fly back to Boston. Terrible end to an otherwise successful business trip. I think the folks in Boston (where I lived at the time) and the surrounding region were particularly crushed because NH school teacher Christa McAuliffe was born in Boston.

Imagine this... The Bills in the Super Bowl
The Senator replied to SuperBills12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regarding the Sabres, it'd have to be against Dallas with Vanek clearly standing in the goal crease as he scores the winner in triple overtime. As for the Bills, poetic justice means signing a Cornellian off their roster (probably Kevin Booth) the reverse ' The Curse of Pete Gogolak ' - then beating them in the Superbowl with a last second field goal... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! Reverse the Curse!!!!! -

Now that you've mentioned it, EI2, Bob Hope lived to 100 and - for exercise - did little more than golf. George Burns made to the century mark doing even less, pretty much smoking cigars and drinking martinis - which begs the question... Is juice really that much healthier than a good martini?

I read somewhere that you can run an internal combustion engine on lentil beans...

I have read that it cures cramps too - Ok, sometimes you may sneak a sip of juice from the pickle jar. But could that seemingly worthless liquid, which often gets tossed into the trash when the pickles are gone, be the key to athletic endurance and avoiding debilitating leg cramps? Some anecdotal evidence says “Yes”! But what does science say? Before you get yourself in a pickle, let’s find out... link

Ponder this... We lost the AFC title game against the Bengals in '89, then Ronnie Harmon did this in '90... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OOWQxv2_M4 Now if Harmon could catch, we'da gone on the play in the title game against the Broncos in 1990. Then there was '91-'94 - that would have made 6 consecutive AFC title games. God, the Bills were such a great f g team back then... -

Modrak gets endorsement from RW & Buddy Nix
The Senator replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, my Azure Ale friend, Ralph chose to can Jauron and retain Modrak - leading one to think that RW blames Jauron more than Modrak for the teams failure to re-ignite. He probably also realizes now that re-hiring his old and loyal friend Marv was not in the best long-term interest of the franchise either. Give the old man a break, why don't ya? You're gonna feel much better after this draft - and this season - on our way to... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! Fear the 'stache!!!!! -
