Motivation against the Raiders
The Senator replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This should be the only motivation anyone associated with the Bills needs to think about... I expect to be undefeated. I expect it. I think our players expect it. If you don’t expect it, something’s wrong with you. If you say, “Well I hope we’re a little bit better than last year,” you ought to get out. That’s wrong. I expect to win every one of them. I expect to be undefeated. That’s the way I’ve always been and that’s the way I’ll always be. I want to be 1-0 after this one and who ever we play second I want to be 2-0. - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
Maybe NOW the Bills marketing department will get going on those jerseys! Sam....er....Scott is getting some notice beyond The BuffTown - Rodney McKissic (Buffalo News) wrote a great piece that was picked up by the Boston Herald... Link - Scott Chandler’s day is a revelation for Bills And there was this nice bit of work by AP reporter and TBD regular, the incomparable John Wawrow... Link - TE Chandler’s drive paying off for Bills And while I'm not really that focused on stats - particularly after one game - Scott Chandler - 5 REC/63 YDs/2 TDs Zach Miller - 2 REC/19 YDs/0 TDs (WEO must be awfully busy deleting all his Chandler-bashing posts during the weeks leading up the season-opener.) GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!

RW is definitely moving a bit slower these days - that's to be expected at age 90 - but his appearance certainly does not frighten small children... Link - So, This Is What Al Davis Looks Like Nowadays

Yes, that's obvious by the fact that you respond to every post I make No, you missed the point that no one here is concerned with years-gone-by - only this Sunday and this season - and the only Raiders stat we ever take note of is how many fans get killed at their games. So can any team, as we saw Monday nite (even if if was against last season's 2nd-worst team). Let's see what you say after two games It is you who will be singing John Lennon songs on Monday, Egg-Man. Should we look for you on the Jets site next week? -
More patdowning down at the gate

That will be me, right after they ask, "Hey Senator - is that a bottle of vodka in your pants, or are you just glad to see me?" -
Tough choices - I like Fitzmagic a lot but don't think it'll catch-on beyond BuffTown; also like Fitzgibbons - makes me think of ZZ Top - but also won't stick. All the nicknames that play on the media's ignorance of the guy's real name are amusing to only us Bills fans, I think. In the end, gotta go with 'The Amish Rifle' - for me, it invokes thoughts of a certain likeable, foul-mouthed Polish kid that used to chuck the ball from Lackawanna all the way to the Peace Bridge...Na Zdrowie!!!! .

I call you delusional only because it would be impolite to call you a moron. Langston Walker hasn't played here since 2008 (the same year of your Kevin Boss/NY Giants hi-lite film) - I'm pretty sure you guys picked him up again after we cut him. Not our fault Al Davis is stupid and cut Eric Pears - we're happy to have him. Pears and the Bills allowed one sack last Sunday - by Chiefs sack master Tamba Hali — no embarrassment in that at all. (I believe that's the same # of sacks allowed by both the Raiders and the Ravens last Sunday, no? ) The Bills O-line is just fine, as you'll see this Sunday when Fitzpatrick carves up the Raiders secondary for 400 yards and 5 TDs - and probably another 2 TDs for TE Scott Chandler - while Fred Jackson breaks thru into the open field all afternoon. (And the Bills have future All Pro swing tackle Chris Hairston waiting in the wings - so no need to go out and sign aging, slow, high-priced, fat guys like McKinnie or Walker.) The O-line you need to worry about is the one that will have Jason Campbell wondering why he's seeing stars at one o-clock in the afternoon - as he stares up at the Orchard Park sky from his supine position on the carpet of Ralph Wilson Stadium. You wanna talk owners, do ya? -

Dude, dude, delusional dude... FYI, the Bills passed over both of your super-star TEs - Boss AND Miller - in free agency because we signed a bigger and better TE off waivers late last season. Here's what a future superstar TE looks like... Link - Scott Chandler’s day is a revelation for Bills (Boston Herald) But thanks for the 2008 hi-lite film from Boss's Pro Bowl season 3 years ago - he looked pretty good back then. I'm looking forward to seeing him limp back into action this Sunday - I suspect his play will be a factor in the Bills' win... Buffalo Bills 53 ChokeLand Raiders 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
Funny thing is that none of those three clowns* played for the Cheatriettes* past 2008 - the season right after the cheating scandal came to light, forever tainting their* 18-and-done-season* - and about the time that Goodell burned all of the confiscated Belicheat* video tapes and begged Bill* to please stop cheating. The 3 stooges* must have figured out that the gig was finally up - the Cheatriettes* haven't been back to the Superbowl since!

Dude, I'll thank you guys if you beat the Jets next Sunday - and shout your praises if the beat the Patriots* the week after that - but seriously, your next win will probably come in mid-October against Cleveland. This Sunday, just be ready to cry. -
Ridiculous. The Bills had already paid Lee Evans his $1.5M roster bonus for 2011. He was due to receive $3.3M in salary which, while not an insignificant amount, had less to do with trading him than his own request to be traded to a contender. The only way at all that money would have factored into the equation would be if the Bills thought, 'Why pay $3.3M to the NFL's #51-ranked WR - a guy who caught 37 passes for 578 yards last season and whose production has steadily declined since signing his $37M extension in 2009 - when we're getting better production from Stevie Johnson and have a slew of younger WRs ready to step up?' I don't just believe it, I know it to be an incontrovertible statement of fact.
-
It's already up to 4 and should go higher still, as money pours in on the Bills.
-
I think the Bills are pretty pleased with their young WRs corps, this season and beyond. Regardless, trading up is not Buddy's M.O., and I really don't see Nix trading up to get into the top-15 unless it's for a QB. (Now if Justin Blackmon or - better yet - Alshon Jeffery should declare for the 2012 draft and falls to us at the #32 pick, it'd be really stupid NOT to make that pick. ) 19 and 0 baby!!!!!

You're delusional, dude. Seriously delusional. The only 'nail-biter' aspect of this game is guessing how many different Bills will score, how many takeaways and forced fumbles the Bills defense and special teams will get, and whether Ryan Fitzpatrick will throw 5 TD passes, or six. Otherwise, this game is over before your boys ever leave Alameda. TOTAL DOMINATION Buffalo Bills 53 ChokeLand Raiders 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
