Two down, seventeen to go... 19 and 0 baby!!!!! -
I got your logic right here... QB: Brady* eats tube steak smothered in white gravy. She* will crumble at even the thought of taking a hit ADVANTAGE BILLS RB: Bills lead the league in rushing - 386 yds/6.1 ypc - and have league's leading rusher, Cheatriettes* rank 16th - 200 yds/4.3 ypc - Fred alone has more yards than NE* HUGE ADVANTAGE BILLS WR: Not even close - our guys are young undrafted or late round picks out to prove something. Johnson/Nelson/Jones/Chandler/Spiller/Martin/Roosevelt > Branch*/Welker*/Ocho-Dunno-The-Offense*/Gronk* Brothers* ADVANTAGE BILLS OL: I'll put our gang of mean, nasty, hungry young studs with chips on their shoulders up against the aging Pats* o-line* any day ADVANTAGE BILLS DL: Four words: Kyle Williams Marcell Dareus. Also, age-before-beauty does not apply to the Pats* D-line* either. ADVANTAGE BILLS LB: Bills are bigger, better, meaner, and deeper - Kelsay/Davis/Barnett/Merriman > Dane* Fletcher*/Jerod* Mayo*/Brandon* Spikes*/Rob* Ninkovich* ADVANTAGE BILLS DB: Don't make me laugh - NE* is second last in the NFL defending the pass, allowing 416 passing yards from Chad Freakin' Henne HUGE ADVANTAGE BILLS ST: We don't even know if NE* has a punter this week. Lindell's and Moorman's familiarity with The Ralph's swirling winds equals HUGE ADVANTAGE BILLS HC: Chan expects the Bills to be undefeated; Belicheat* has proven that, sans cheating, NE* will never be. ADVANTAGE BILLS Edge counts as +1, ADVANTAGE counts as +5, HUGE ADVANTAGE counts as +9 Final Logical Analysis Score: Bills 57, NE* 0 Spread - Pats* -8 Been going down since it opened, as smart money pours in on Buffalo Over/Under - 53.5 I'll take the over, because I expect the Bills will cover it themselves... BuffTown Bills 57 New* England* Cheatriettes* 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!! Hope you* like star-gazing, Tommy*, 'cause you'll* be doing a lot of it...

Question for everyone
The Senator replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like the kind of stupid show they'd have on 'GR. Not at all surprised that such a stupid hypothetical would stump them, either. I want to win this Sunday. Then I'll start worrying about the Bengals. Haven't even thought about week five (who do we play?) other than to agree 100% with Chan Gailey... "I expect to be undefeated. I expect it. I think our players expect it. If you don’t expect it, something’s wrong with you. If you say, “Well I hope we’re a little bit better than last year,” you ought to get out. That’s wrong. I expect to win every one of them. I expect to be undefeated. That’s the way I’ve always been and that’s the way I’ll always be." GO BILLSSS!!!! the difference of this game will come down to...

They should most definitely 'Fear the 'stache' - and the F-BOMB - Chad Henne (of all people) threw for 416 yards against NE* in week one... BuffTown Bills 57 New* England* Cheatriettes* 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!! -

Can't help you. Are you the best man or something? I know grooms that have watched games at their own weddings. Yeah, I know, getting married only happens maybe 2 or 3 times in someone's life...but man, this game is HUGE!!!!!!! (Don't count on not hearing the score, no matter how hard you try - I've tried that in the past, only to be thwarted by the sight and sound of fist-pumping Bills fans screaming and cheering in the streets as I drove home to my DVR.) Van Miller to the "Wall of Fame"
The Senator replied to jkrules's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta disagree. Murph, IMO, feigns nothing. He's also, IMO, one of the most if not THE most knowledgeable local on-air guys when it comes to coverage of the team, and it's a pleasure listening to his play-by-play. (Also one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet.) -
Pressure Brady* (all Marcia* jokes aside, Brady* buckles under the threat of being hit) and have Fitz drop F-Bombs all afternoon. (As SJBF pointed out, Cheatriettes* have given up 762 passing yards in 1st two weeks - including 416 yards by Chad Henne ) BuffTown Bills 57 New* England* Cheatriettes* 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! Served a 6-year sentence there myself, friend - had Pats* season tickets at *Schaefer/Sullivan *Stadium back in the mid '80s, just before the Bills got good. NE* sports fans* are insufferable! GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!! -

Van Miller to the "Wall of Fame"
The Senator replied to jkrules's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It'd be a nice gesture, but Lou Saban and Cookie Gilchrist belong up there before they even think about Van Miller. JMO. (Besides, there's already a luxury seat club named for Van.) -
He's actually a year and a half younger than Kelsay, whom they just extended thru 2014. At least pay the man Kelsay-type $$$, Ralph, ya cheap foook.

Whatever we think of Shady* Brady* and Bill* Belicheat*, you can be sure they are not taking this game lightly or underestimating the Bills... "They're playing well, obviously," coach Belichick said yesterday about Buffalo. "We have to turn the page quickly here (from beating the Chargers, 35-21 on Sunday) and move on." Undefeated Bills are being taken seriously They know all about our receivers corp as well... Receivers: Stevie Johnson and David Nelson are Fitzpatrick’s favorite targets; Johnson has been targeted 20 times and Nelson 19 in Fitzpatrick’s 71 pass attempts. Johnson plays a little faster than his 4.46 pro day speed in ’08 coming out of Kentucky. He’s basically the Bills’ version of Wes Welker in the slot, and Nelson plays Aaron Hernandez. Johnson has a nagging groin problem, and if he can’t play, it would be a break for the Patriots. Tight end Scott Chandler is a tough matchup at 6 feet 7 inches, and Fitzpatrick loves him in the red zone. Matchup is worthy of better billing this time Still, so long as Belicheat* has no hidden cameras at OBD, I'm counting on Chan and our guys to be ready... GO BILLSSS!!!! Geez, what gave it away? Was it the big, upper case, OCTOBER 5, 2009 dateline? So...um...Wiz - you're kinda thinking maybe this didn't really happen? “I didn’t care for that! I didn’t care for that one bit!” snapped Brady, stomping his foot as he pulled himself up off the ground. Moments later, official Tom Winter threw a flag, penalizing Suggs and the Ravens for an infraction never before called in organized football. (GREAT avatar, btw ) . -
Link - Tom Brady Draws Emotionally Roughing The Passer Penalty Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was flagged for emotionally roughing Patriots quarterback Tom Brady yesterday after a hit left the star quarterback feeling upset and unloved. “I didn’t care for that! I didn’t care for that one bit!” snapped Brady, stomping his foot as he pulled himself up off the ground. Moments later, official Tom Winter threw a flag, penalizing Suggs and the Ravens for an infraction never before called in organized football. “The new rules in place make our job very clear as officials,” said Winter, explaining his call. “We are to protect the quarterback, especially star quarterbacks, and especially this star quarterback. Two sides (at least ) to every story, but you can buy Leach's book and find out his side... I told Pincock to remove James from the field since he wasn't dressed properly, was late, and had a bad attitude while the rest of the team was practicing hard. I told Pincock to put him somewhere dark and have him do something. At no point did I say to lock him in a room. I never told Pincock what he should do with Adam beyond getting him off the field and putting him somewhere dark since his eyes were sensitive to light. Months later, when Adam James was deposed under oath, he said he found the incident "funny" and that he did not believe that I should have been fired. Link - Mike Leach: My biggest regret was not cutting Adam James (Sports Illiustrated) (I'm pretty sure, and just about everyone agrees with this now, that James was placed in a sizable, wide open equipment garage adjacent the practice field - with exercise bikes, water, and an ice machine - during one practice, and in a dimly lit media briefing room (also with a stationary bike) for another, where he then wandered into an electircal closet he was explicitly told to stay out of and sent a cell-fone clip of it to his dad.) .

Matt Miller's Bleach Report Week 3 Pick
The Senator replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I got in a bit of a pissing contest around draft time with another TSW poster over Matt Miller's...um...credibility. Seems that, when in his Walter Mitty mode, ol' Matt bills himself as a former NFL scout and founder of some entity he calls New Era Scouting - he's really just a young marketing exec and part time NFL super-fan with a couple of NFL blogs and web sites. It amazes me that folks still cite articles - even some by 13-year-olds - as if they were written by professional sports writers with opinions to be taken seriously, without giving so much as a thought to the author's credentials. -

Matt Miller's Bleach Report Week 3 Pick
The Senator replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And this is what the idiot predicted week one... Prediction: Kansas City 42, Buffalo 7 If the Chiefs must play without Cassel, I reserve the right to change this prediction considerably. With Cassel, no matter the Chiefs struggles during the preseason, Kansas City is head and shoulders above the Bills. And, as one eminently wise and prescient TSW poster wrote then... Hear me now, believe me later... BuffTown Bills 57 New* England* Cheatriettes* 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!! -

Yeah - in one of Marv's first pressers after being named GM, he talked about 'the greatest show on turf' and then said, "Well we're gonna have 'The Greatest Show on Snow!' " Sorry. -
The guy who could do wonders with a young stud QB like Gabbert is... Mike Leach
