Jasper.....any sightings?
The Senator replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing on the Mt. Jasper front since he was named to the practice squad - but it's a long season, Troup has been out for most of it, and now Kyle Williams is hurt - Big Mike may see some action sooner than anyone thinks. -

Really? I think just the opposite - the Bills D will have a field day. (You're aware that Eli was sacked 3 times and threw 3 picks Sunday against Seattle, no?) Buffalo Bills 43 New Jersey Giants - 0 The Official Eli Manning Sucks Blog GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!! -

This is a very stupid thread - the Bills have no fixed 'method of winning', and any convoluted use of statistics to prove otherwise is moronic. The average human has one breast and one testicle, yet somehow I've never met anyone with one breast and one testicle. -

Quite the opposite - I'm the one that began the season saying '19 and 0 baby' and still can't believe the Bengals beat us... GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!! .

Bills crowd won't let Barnett go after jump into stands

If you noticed, on Bills next TD Brad SMith eschewed 'the leap' (Perhaps ending the Bills touchdown streak for the day and igniting the Eagles comeback?) -

Not sure about the Tebow tambourines - how'd they work it with the Peters pom-poms? -

With the possible exception of picking apart opposing defenses - and winning games and championships Gotta agree with you on one thing, though - he does make great highlight reels... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpKH7a2PFEE -
Glad to see Bills fans are not unique in our reaction to losses. (What the Eagles fans need is something to lift their spirits - maybe someone will let them know that the Eagles current method of losing is not sustainable!)

You'd rather enjoy a win - rather than immediately opine that any Bills success is merely tentative and entirely spurious??? I refuse to do either - there's another game to prepare for... The Official Eli Manning Sucks Blog Buffalo Bills 43 New Jersey Giants 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!! -

Not to pile on Smith here but, in case no one noticed, Smith did not do the Buffalo version of the 'Lambeau Leap' after his TD (FWIW, the Eagles 'comeback' began immediately thereafter.) . -

Seminoles fan, are ya? Or is it simply that you lost a boat-load of money betting against Tebow and the Gators? Link - It was always a matter of when, not if, for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos... BTW, Tebow's about as inaccurate as everybody's wet dream, Andy Luck - only Tebow played in a real conference, and has a Heisman and 2 BCS championship rings to go along with that 'inaccuracy' Come on now, Ramius - you're gonna cite his stats from the second half of one game, coming off the bench, trailing 23-10, to make a point? (At least change your avatar if you even hope to have anyone take you seriously ) . -

Buddy is narcoleptic; Ralph is cheap. -
Absolutely. The Bills most definitely would have taken the delay of game penalty and punted, pinning the Eagles deep and counting on the D (and the fact that Philly had no time-outs left) to hold them and run out the clock. That's why, IMHO, it's so shocking that Reid didn't just tell his entire D, "Don't freakin' MOVE, no matter what!" No way in hell the Bills were ever going to snap the ball. To get Parker to bite like that, Fitz must be 'The Mentalist' or something

No doubt. Just as time has also proven that the spread-offense is just a college gimmick, and will never work in the NFL If you believe in Tim, then the jolt of energy he provided was undeniable. “Tim Tebow sparked the team today,” Fox said. There was a rushing TD and a passing TD and the scrambling on that final drive that almost made a miracle happen. If you dismiss Tebow, then you’re probably pointing at his 4-of-10 passing (most of the completions against a prevent defense), the fact the touchdown was more the legwork of Knowshon Moreno and, of course, the final score. Sounds like you fall into the latter camp. Count me in the former - Tebow will start for the Broncos against the Dolphins in 2 weeks, and for years to come. Link - Broncos have no choice: Start Tebow . -

I thought he was saying we need to lose more games so we can draft better players and be good in 3.5 years -
Some stuff on Smith I found/posted prior the Bills-NE* game... (September 4, 2011) It is almost like the Buffalo Bills were just awarded another draft pick for the 2011 NFL Draft...The Bills today claimed rookie tight end Lee Smith off the waiver wire from the New England Patriots... Smith was thought to have a solid chance to make the Patriots roster, but he failed to pass any of the outstanding rookies from the 2010 team, namely Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski. Smith was drafted by New England with the 159th draft pick. He is 6'6" and weighs 269 pounds, so is a nice big target for Ryan Fitzpatrick... The other benefit regarding adding Smith to the team, is that it is safe to assume that he has some inside knowledge about the Patriots offense that will be of extreme interest to Chan Gailey and George Edwards. Just another added benefit. Link - Buffalo Bills Claim TE Lee Smith off Waivers Also, from the NE* post-draft reviews - Perhaps the finest blocking tight end in college football. Can be groomed to replace Alge Crumpler. Sounds a lot Crumpler with the reputation for being a vocal and respected team leader...Late father, Daryle Smith, played OT for the Eagles, Cowboys and Browns. He died last year. Played at Tennessee in the 1980s. Undrafted in 1987. Link - Boston Globe: Analysis of 5th-round pick Marshall TE Lee Smith Smart move by the apparently not-so-narcoleptic Buddy Nix.

I wanted the Bills to go for it - just a simple QB sneak - but the Bills had no intention of snapping the ball. Absolutely unbelievable/unforgivable that Parker jumped offsides, because there was absolutely no way in hell that ball was ever going to be snapped. Fitz must have some sort of mysterious, hypnotic power - it's the only possible explanation for what happened.
