  1. We suck. GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!!!
  2. GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  3. I expect the Buffalo's defense to outscore New Jersey's offense... Buffalo Bills 43 New Jersey Giants -- 0 18 and 1 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win every one of them." - Chan Gailey
  4. "I expect to win every one of them." - Chan Gailey GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!!
  5. Hindsight he has; insight, not so much... Gailey said he'll be head coach and offensive coordinator with the Bills. He said they'll hire someone with the title, but he'll be designing the offense and calling the plays. It's a formidable task for the best of coaches, and a tall order for a guy who hasn't been an NFL head coach in 10 years. In time, I suspect Gailey will prove to be out of his depth as a head coach in today's NFL. I give him, oh, a 20 percent chance of succeeding. But if nothing else, it'll be amusing, and make some good stories. Jerry Sullivan, Buffalo News - January 20, 2010 (Thanks again to GoBillsInDallas for the most excellent September 28th thread - The Wayback Machine: January 20, 2010)
  6. Mike Leach said it best... As his team raced onto the field, Leach gazed into the stands filled with screaming fans and wondered about the several thousand "cadets" from Texas A.&M. clustered in one end zone. They wear military uniforms and buzz cuts, holler in unison and stand at attention the entire game. "How come they get to pretend they are soldiers?" he asked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AOgN-4QnZ4 "The thing is, they aren't actually in the military." .
  7. Meh...you guys had Luck going first last year too Seriously, though - could we possibly be looking at another draft like 1983? I'm having a hard time believing all these guys are going in round one.
  8. Thanks, LynchMob This is why I have problems with EVERYONE from Faber College... Trooper to 118 mph Cliff Harris: 'Who's got the marijuana? (GO DUCKS!!!! )
  9. Do I think Foles is better than Luck? Hell, I think Gino Smith is better than Luck. I also think the probability of Luck, Jones, Barkley, Tannenhill, Moore, Foles, etc., all going in the first 2 rounds is zero. So yes, I think Foles will be there for us in round 3.
  10. JMO, but it'd be a bit of a slap in the head to Fitz if the Bills went QB in round one. (And I like Tannenhill a lot - even though he is an Aggie! ) Anyway, he'll certainly be there at the #32 pick, but the Bills likely have other needs. I like Nick Foles out of Arizona - 6' 5" - 240 lbs., way better stats than Tannenhill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhaehG4uWoY Actually kind of a 'poor man's Andy Luck' , only bigger and better. I'd take Foles with either our #96, pick or our 4th round pick from B-more. .
  11. Yeah, you're probably right - that sheeet will never fly in the NFL... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvLjdXskTdo
  12. I'll take your word for it on Burfict - but personally I'd much rather have someone like Dont'a Hightower... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAzvrSZ3_8E
  13. Got any of him crying after losing to FSU? (If it makes you feel better, I find Tebow pretty annoying. Helluva QB, though.)
  14. To Mrs. Ken et al... HAPPY NATAL ANNIVERSARIES!!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  15. Yeah, the Jauron part is a little sickening - I thought about warning to FF at the 1:55 mark, but it's good to see the contrast between Jaurons's self-fulfilling, defeatist, "We don't know who we are' attitude versus Gailey's 'I expect to win every game' philosophy. The 'Old Rockpile' segment is great too - the Stratton hit, the Maguire block, Kemp, Gilchrist, etc. - nice of Berman to pay homage to that era. GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  16. You will love this Berman 2-minute drill from 2008...
  17. I understand why you feel the way you do about Tebow. At least in your case, the reason for the Tebow-hate is blatantly obvious - making it very easy to simply dismiss your jaded view of the guy. For your viewing enjoyment, here are even more hi-lites of Tebow - which no doubt will bring back great memories ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4murbmcUQxw
  18. Thx Astro - great info, as always. Some interesting prospects (and a few thugs) on that list. Lance Mitchell looks like one tough Beaver, and I always like 'old' guys like BYU's Matt Reynolds (especially when they're 6' 6" and 325 lbs) - who could have come out last April and been someone's 2nd round pick, but decided his education was important . I'd avoid ASU's Vontaze Burfict like the plague - guy looks like a future recidivist in the making, but Gerell Robinson would fit right perfectly with the Bills 6th/7th round WR corps. NC's Quinton Coples will be long-gone by the time we pick, but Dwight Jones seems to be the big, tall receving target the Bills prefer these days. Quick question - do you usually know (or receive notice) which games the Bills are scouting? (Possibly on their way home they'll stop in Tucson next Thursday to see Arizona QB Nick Foles against UCLA? I've seen him pegged anywhere from 1st to 4th round.) (BTW - Oregon's Kenny Rowe came out in 2011, was signed as an undrafted FA by the 49ers, and is now playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders - link)
  19. Christ Almighty, I think it's safe to say that no matter what Reeves wrote, some Buffalonian(s) would take it the wrong way and scream bloody murder! Had he written that Buffalo's the best city he's ever has visited - or ever will - in his entire life, I swear someone would probably cry foul and call him an arrogant, lying, condescending f__k for mocking us! It's a great article! It doesn't portray Buffalo in a bad way at all. It mocks broadcasters for constantly mentioning that Fitz went to Harvard. (Hell, we mock them for that too!) It mocks New Yorkers for their myopic view of the world, shouts that the Bills are NY State's only football team, derides the 'New Jersey circus shows' put on by the Jets and Giants, and praises Buffalonians for proudly defending their home town. What more do people want? To lose every game so you can have Andy Luck?
  20. I don't think he meant to 'trash' Buffalo - quite the opposite, actually. Anyway, looks like you missed the author's earlier reply to one Buffalonian's typically paranoid rebuttal... Hi Thanks for the note. My sincerest apologies that the intent of my article was missed. I love Buffalo; one of my best friends is from there, and I spent a perfectly enjoyable weekend there a few years back. It was meant as a satire of those who think of your city - and mine - as out-of-the-way dumps in need of some Ivy League sophistication. If the intent was missed, it's because I probably shouldn't make attempts at satire. Anyway, thanks for reading, even if I only enraged you. Can we call it even after what your Bills did to my Chiefs in Week 1? Reeves
  21. Gotta LOVE Berman - he used to predict a Bills/49ers Superbowl every year back in the Jim Kelly era. I'm sure he's been chomping' at the bit to do it again... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win every one of them." - Chan Gailey 18 and 1 baby!!!!!!
  22. It is. Old time hockey, eh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbSVNZXIgE4
  23. Jesus Christ, not another Walter Cheripinsky link (You do know that site is run by a complete idiot who started it as a high school senior project, no?) For the record - Fitz finished the test in 9 minutes and scored a 48 (he skipped one question and had one incorrect response). Yeah, it is - but it also helps to have a sense of humor. NYC is a magical place, yet New Yorkers hear more jabs at their city and their way of life than most Buffalonians can fathom. (If you don't believe that, tune in Letterman's opening monologue on any given night.) They don't whine about it - they do truly view rest of the world like that old New Yorker cartoon, they know it, and they laugh about it. Buffalonians have a major inferiority complex, and seem to rail against any perceived slight. I don't understand why. At least the guy began by pointing out what we always proudly boast... "There is only one professional football team that plays home games in the state of New York..." It was a nice piece about Fitz and about the Bills - one that I thought was actually fairly supportive of The BuffTown - if anything, he took more shots at how New Yorkers perceive the rest of the world than at Buffalo... "Buffalo natives are manically defensive of their town, and their team—but to downstaters, content to cheer the dual circus shows put on by the Jets and Giants in New Jersey, Buffalo might as well be Boise." Y'all need to stop being so defensive - no need for it. Buffalo rocks! .
  24. I can only pick one? You need to add an 'All of the above' option... Buffalo Bills 43 New Jersey Giants -- 0 18 and 1 baby!!! "I expect us to win every time we walk out there." - Chan Gailey GO BILLSSS!!!!
  25. I only got a 1370 on my SAT, but I think the answer is one
