Hmmmm...I counted 3, and some 'non-committals' - but only one person predicted we'd shut 'em out GO BILLSSS!!!! "We expect to win 'em all." - Chan Gailey 17 and 2 baby!!!!! -
Stevie Johnson's Halloween Costume = Chan Gailey!!
The Senator replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know that winning sure as hell lightens the mood, but It's been a while since the Bills had a guy that's as much fun as Stevie Johnson. That's f----g hysterical! -
Prior to yesterday's game, the Bills previous opponents had a combined winning percentage of .567 As of this morning (which excludes tonite's San Diego game), the Bills remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .359 I'm no mathematician, but I do believe .359 < .567 As for the divisional games thing being tougher, I think that the same would apply to our divisional opponents. I was a bit surprised to hear a former Cowboys QB singing 'Hail to the Redskins'

Is it time to start "cheering" for the Dolphins?

How would such a clause affect ICanSleepWhenI'mDead's imaginary deal that RW made with the dead Toronto businessman? -

After a so-so first half, both offenses woke up and the shoot-put between Luck and Barkley became one of the most exciting games in college ball this season, IMO. (Those USC Song Girls are pretty easy on the eyes, too!) Personally, if the Bills had any shot at either of them, I'd much prefer Barkley - though I thought it was pure brilliance of Luck to finally end the thing by willing USC's Curtis McNeal to fumble just as he was about to cross the goal line, tie the game, and force yet another OT Oh Bill is good...scary good, even..so good, in fact, that you can bet he'll make this all look legit (You didn't see him pulling this crap with Manning's neck last year for Cam Newton - or in 2010, when everyone else thought Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Jimmy 'The Emu' Clausen, et al were all the rage) Like I said, I don't care if they get Andy-Boy - but if they DO win only one, I hope it's against the Cheatriettes*... GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!! -
I'm not a listener - did Cowturd really say our schedule gets tougher from here on? (Not that prior stats are any predictor of future performance, but that's just plain wrong.)

The Jets game is the biggest game of the season since the one we played earlier today (But only until the one we play the week after) They're all the 'biggest game' - and the 'next game' keeps getting bigger every week that the Bills win... GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!! .

^^^^^^ Ditto. I seriously could not care less who drafts Andy Luck - other than it would be nice to see him in the AFC East, where the Bills can put him on his ass all afternoon for 2 Sundays every year... GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!! -

Shut-out wins are unsustainable.
The Senator replied to SouthGeorgiaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, and let's not forget that Fitz, while adequate (barely) for the time being, is nothing more than a journeyman backup - and this team is going nowhere without a 'franchise QB' . Toward that end, lets not forget that we should be positioning ourselves to either lose as many games as we possibly can - or be willing trade our entire roster and every draft pick for the next 5 years - for the chance to get Andy Luck. (It's the only way the Bills will ever become a winning team ) Seriously though, I'd just love to hear from all the 'stats-heads' with too much time on their hands and their reams of data showing how totally predictable today's Bills defensive blowout was, had I only bothered to look at their infallible statistical models When it comes to football, statistical models are great for those who want to scrutinize the minutia of what has already occurred, but quite useless for predicting what will happen next. Definition of Statistics: The science of producing unreliable facts from reliable figures. - Evan Esar GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!!! -
I too admit I was wrong - I predicted we'd shut out the Redskins 74-0... link I had also predicted we'd be 7-0, on our way to winning the AFC East, and that Fitz would have a better season than Tom Brady. Clearly, I was wrong there as well - although, quite obviously, I still have a chance to go 2-for-3... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win 'em all." - Chan Gailey 17 and 2 baby!!!!! .

The Buffalo Snooze calls her an ' adult-film performer ' 'New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski says he didn't intend to hurt the team's reputation when he posed for photographs with an adult film performer.' (Link - Gronkowski* never intended to hurt Pats* reputation*)

DT Williams could be out for year?
The Senator replied to Numark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Forget it..and enjoy it! There is absolutely no verbiage known to man that would constitute an effective enough disclaimer to prevent unknowing neophytes from taking Crayonz' bait. It will never happen - and that's the beauty, and the hilarity, of it all. -
Uh, yeah, I think that's basically what I just stated - in my own self-deprecating way - but thanks for at least trying to keep up .

Personally, if we're talking QBs, I like Arizona's Nick Foles (6' 5" 240 lbs) with the 4th-round pick we got from the Ravens for Lee Evans - or Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden, whom I think will last until day 3 mainly because of his age (27). But I'd much rather see the Bills plug their defense holes before anything else. There'll be another 'irresistible, can't-miss, franchise-QB' next year, and the year after that, and the one after that too. There always is. GO BILLSSS!!!!

Couldn't agree more - you have good reason to be 'Cynical' This ridiculous 'social networking' phenomenon is the slow or the 'dumb-ification' of America. I'm reminded of the Toyota Venza commercial, where the pallid, laptop-tethered, teenage gal worries about her healthy, happy, active, outdoorsy, vibrant. athletic, adventurous, mountain-biking parents - as she opines about her own Facebook-based vicarious life, "This is living." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpeoRIvnxfk The amount of time wasted that could be better-spent experiencing life is bad enough. (And believe me, the fact that I have over 10K posts on TSW is very disturbing to me) . But even more frightening is the idea that all these idiots are naively putting their entire lives, including even the most intimate personal details, out there on the 'net where it will remain archived forever in multiple, redundant, Zeta-byte storage servers secured in a hardened-bunker-based data center - just waiting to be data-mined through a parametric database search by marketeers, government agencies, or some even more sinister entity. 'Idiocracy' - whether thru our television sets or cyberspace - is truly upon us already.

Trade him to Denver for a day 3 pick - we'd at least get an early pick in whatever round, and Tebow could use His healing powers on Merriman's leg.
