  1. So is... Mike Leach
  2. But would he relinquish the AD job at West Virginia to play behind this o-line?
  3. Not that I'm aware, but he's a big goofy-looking and goofy-sounding dude with a cannon of an arm - something that worked well for us in the late '80s/early '90s.
  4. Statistically speaking, this current string of consecutive blow-out losses is unsustainable... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win a game." - Chan Gailey 14 and 5 baby!!!!!
  5. Listen...it's not Fitz's fault the entire o-line is either on IR or perpetually injured - some of us saw this coming before the season even began and clamored for Nix to sign some veteran (or any) o-line back-up for depth, in anticipation of the injuries that were inevitable during a 16-game season. (That said, I like Arizona's Nick Foles in round 4).
  6. That's no ladle...that's my knife!
  7. GO BILLSSS!!!! "We expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 15 and 4 baby!!!!!
  8. Two things: 1) Your fingers are crossed that we lose 3 more games? 2) You think we will beat NJ and NE* on the road, but lose to Denver??? At home???? Personally, I expect we just had our final loss of this season... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 16 and 3 baby!!!!!
  9. OK, so the Bills took Sunday off - now THIS game is the one that defines this team (until next week's game) Seriously, though - forget about the injuries and all the '3 consecutive road games' crap. We all saw, in the season opener, what Chan Gailey does - even on the road - to teams that fired him as head coach... Buffalo Bills 52 Dallas CowPies 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 16 and 3 baby!!!!! ,
  10. The Senator deserves the honor
  11. 16 and 3 baby!!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!
  12. Can't he just 'rest' all his starters again, like he did the last few games of 2009 (before Superbowl XLIV) ??? .
  13. How so? Did someone forget to tell me the season ended and the draft order is set?
  14. Yes, forget about that last game being "This Team's Defining Moment" - now THIS game is the one that defines this team. (Until next week's game, that is. )
  15. Dateline - November 6, 2011, Orchard Park, NY... Total white-out at Ralph Wilson Stadium causes Jets to crash New York State's only NFL football team conducts a free football clinic for the Garden State team and its fans... Buffalo Bills 52 New Jersey Jets ----- 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "We expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 17 and 2 baby!!!!
  16. God forbid the Dolphins should land Andy Luck AND replace Tony Sparano with offensive guru and QB mentor extraordinaire... Mike Leach As Kentucky's offensive coordinator (1997-'98): Four NCAA, 42 SEC, and 116 school records broken As Oklahoma's offensive coordinator (1999): In his only season with the Sooners, Leach improved OU's anemic '97 offense to 36.8 ppg in '98, setting 17 school records and 6 Big-12 records in the process. In his 10 seasons as head coach at Texas Tech (2000-2009): 10 consecutive winning seasons 10 consecutive bowl invitations 5 bowl wins (most by any individual coach in the history of the program)* 4 seasons completed with team ranked in the Top 25 More than 150 NCAA, Big 12 and school records broken Three national COTY awards in 2008 (Woody Hayes/George Munger/Howie Long-Fieldturf) 84-43 W-L record * Leach did not get a chance for a 6th bowl win in the 2010 Alamo Bowl (which Texas Tech won) due to the Adam James 'incident'
  17. So you guys were both rooting for the Bills to lose their season opener?
  18. New York State's only NFL football team conducts a free football clinic for the Garden State team and its fans... Buffalo Bills 52 New Jersey Jets - 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! "We expect to win." - Chan Gailey 17 and 2 baby!!!!
  19. You find the folks that wanted to go 0-16 this season more annoying and more stupid than the Suck for Luck folks that wanted to lose all our games last season - and argued the point endlessly - so we could draft Luck last April, even though he never intended to enter the 2011 draft? Resolve yourself to this one incontrovertible certainty - fans may jump on the bandwagon when the Bills are winning and jump off when they lose, but we are fortunate that the fans have no say in directing the team either on or off the field. Fans have the freedom to opine such ridiculous thoughts - thankfully, we have a coach and a GM that believe that winning is the goal every time you take the field... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 17 and 2 baby!!!!!
  20. I'm not sure you'd get unanimous agreement here on TSW - some still think the ultimate prize is Andy Luck GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!!!
  21. Been to both of those, plus the Superdome in New Orleans, and couldn't agree more - domes suck. I love The Ralph - wish it had been built in Buffalo on the lakefront, but ya can't 'un-ring' a bell. The sightlines are some of the best of any NFL stadium I've visited. My only complaint is the concourses are too narrow, especially at the busy times (end of quarter/half/game), and especially when they also cram beer/food/souvenir/credit-card/cell-fone vendors in there against the wall opposite the regular concession stands. If I had one other wish, it'd be natural grass. Any upgrades to RWS will likely have to be completed during a short time window - probably one off-season. A $120M investment will probably extend the life of the facility another 20 years, at which point a new stadium will likely be necessary. (By that time, hopefully the economy will have rebounded enough to allow a decent facility on the old Bethlehem Steel lakefront site in Lackawanna). GO BILLSSS!!!! .
