  1. AFAICR, he was kinda good for a couple of years. If you wanna boost him ‘cause he was an ‘Orangeman’, and had a few good years in the NFL, go ahead. HOF - certainly not. .
  2. I hope Tua Tagovailoa works out as well for the Raiders as JaMarcus Russell did. ? .
  3. After listening for years to that very talented and articulate songwriter and musician, I certainly understood much better that, vis-a-vis Brinkley, beauty is skin-deep, but stupid goes all the way to the bone! OTOH, he had to be pretty stupid himself to break things off with Elle, one of the most magnificent God-given gifts to mankind. JMO .
  4. Oh, there’ll be no seaside villa - maybe a 5-stateroom 120’ yacht! I was just discharged from BuffGen with post-concussive disorder and subarachnoid hemorrhage on my brain. Ya only live once, might as well have a bitchin’ good time on this planet! ??? .
  5. Guarantee AB won’t make it away from the slots, and the $5000/night coke-queens. .
  6. Yeah, Cleveland/KC are HUGE letdowns after Vegas. Maybe Monaco in 2022? .
  7. I believe it must be based on Peterman’s record # of pick -6’s in critical game situations. Carr is trembling, as his coffee table nearly collapses under the sheer weight of game film full of Peterman’s total incompetence. .
  8. Wow, UpTown Girl is looking a bit freaky these days. Don’t know if anyone has ever seen her give an interview, but she comes across as one of the dumbest bimbos you could ever meet. .
  9. For me, it’s Newport, RI. Used to be Cape Cod, til all my friends and family grew old, and I realized I didn’t need a big beach house that slept 20 or more. Except for the 7 years I lived in California - didn’t need a vacation. Life was a vacation! .
  10. I have never onced solved the NYT puzzle. One of my favorite NYT puzzle moments is the opening scene from West Wing, Episode One - White House COS Leo McGarry calling the NYT to tell them they’ve misspelled Gadahfi’s name!
  11. For me, one egg of a leatherback sea turtle, in a cold beer, with a dash of tobasco. .
  12. Legendary architect of RocknRoll HOF, World Trade Ctr, Louvre annex, National Gallery, Boston’s Harbor Towers, etc., at age 102... https://www.syracuse.com/us-news/2019/05/im-pei-architect-who-designed-everson-museum-newhouse-1-dies-at-102.html .
  13. I don’t know if it’s cheating or not - I was the smartass who knew all the answers. I wouldn’t dare trust anyone enough to copy their answers, but there was a handful of guys who regularly copied mine. .
  14. Stale beer smells very similar ro dried vomit, IMO. Our house in Ithaca always smelled like one or the other, or both. .
  15. I can’t believe the number of times Tasker doesn’t know what down it is - or mistakes one player for another, despite the name and number on their jersey Particularly because those guys have ‘runners’ constantly handing them post-its with updated stats and everything that happened on the previous play. .
  16. Simply, the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band...
  17. She put a rise in my levis. RIP .
  18. Horsefeathers! For at least 6 years, the Bills had the best, most talented team in the entire NFL. No team has ever gone to four consecutive Superbowls (shoulda been 6), and no team ever will (sorry Belicheat). Why we didn’t win at least one defies logic. . 2004 Yankees. .
  19. My goodness, we were practically neighbors! My good pal Dave Supple lived in Santa Rosa, owned ‘Dave’s’ on 3rd and Market. Was playing with about 20 pals in our annual Russian River fest - best ball tourney. They had to use one of my drives. Guess which one? ?️‍♂️?? .
  20. From my own studies, 1812 was the true ending of the Revolution - the Brits just got tired of fighting, and both sides laid down their weapons and went home. We don’t bow to the queen - there’s no such thing as primogeniture, and the concept that one should be revered, worshipped, adored simply because their name is Windsor, is quite foreign, and completely ridiculous. You folks are a wonderful, peaceful people - a great northern neighbor, and vast buffer should the Soviets, er, um, Russia, decide to cross the Bering Straits and march down here. Meanwhile, we’ll continue to defend the world - Putin just might be as ambitious as Stalin. JMHO .
  21. I went to see a fight, and a hockey game broke out ! Or is that the other way? Really easy to bill one’s country as a ‘peaceful people’, when your southern neighbor is spending.hundreds of $billions to defend the crown, while ‘the crown’ spends nothing, except on the queen’s hats. .
  22. Really? I’ve had at least 30 MRIs, never once administered helium of any sort. Does that go on in the ‘back room’’where they don’t dare walk in the room? Or where they shout in my headphones about how uncomfortable I am, and ask if I’d prefer some different inaudible music? I’m not challenging you, just asking if you know something I don’t, and can maybe enlighten me. All i know about MRIs is, you’re gonna be very uncomfortable for 30/40 minutes, loud noise and instructions barking in your ears, and better be bare-assed naked, with no metal in your body. (Lucky for me, whoopee, all my plates snd screws are titanium.) You maybe know something about MRIs that I don’t? .
  23. As an honor student at a prominent Jesuit school on Delaware Avenue, my parents and I were oft invited to dine with Father Rector President in the adjacent residence (or some restauranr, usually of his choosing). The young Jesuit scholastics had such chairs for young boys, I’m sure, but, like many things, kept them ‘in the closet’! Anyway, we got a real problem here ... can you guys fix this? https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/black-rock-locks-delayed-in-opening-for-spring/1995167835 .
  24. Dammit all to hell, now I’m going under the knife without my balloons?
  25. OMFG, almost lost it, laughing so loud! ”Father, an experienced pilot, also had a ‘boy in chair’, searching for truck drivers?” Serves ‘im right - those Jesuits will do just about anything, searching the planet for young boys! Still, I need my helium balloons! (The fentynal, dilaudid, morphine, et al, are not as effective.) .
